Lexi’s Fine Wine & Spirit

I stop here or at their other location Addy’s a couple times per month to stock up. They always have great sales and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have a good selection of moonshine, and have some fun tastings as well!

Decent selection of booze, decent prices on the booze, clean inside the building, and friendly personable staff. Not much else to ask for in a liquor store, will likely be back when I’m in the area again.

I found it hilarious that Lexi’s is located at the entrance/​exit of a major corporate parkway in Amherst. Nothing says a good start to the weekend, like a conveniently located liquor store right by work. Luckily for me, it’s right around the corner from where I grew up, so I’ve stopped here a few times for last-​minute bottles for trips or nights out on the town.
I most recently needed a flask for a wedding, and they surprising had a few different options for me. The liquor selection is decent, having all of your major brands, jack, jim, patron, grey goose, captain’s, among others. I haven’t had to stop there for wine, so I’ve never looked at its selection, but seems pretty decent, based upon its size. The prices you pay are for the convenience, it’s no Première. It’s not outrageous, but I know it’s a few dollars more than I should be paying. However every time I’ve stopped it, it’s been the owner working the counter, so I don’t feel all that bad paying a little more helping him out.
