I’ve eaten here three times and I have no complaints at all. Good food, good price, fast service. What more could you ask for?

Cant review… eating…nom nom! Good food! Fresh ingredients salads are a great choice for the healthy dining staff are accommodating and every courteous! THE HEALTHIEST FAST FOOD HANDS DOWN! (You wont be putting their burgers down either!)

I don’t get burgers often, but this week I’ve had a huge craving for one so I finally decided to try this place out as it’s so close to where I live.
The pros:
— It’s fast. I got my order within 5 minutes.
— It’s cheap. They frequently mail out coupons, or you can easily Google for a printable one. I found one for $ 2 off a $ 7 order. A medium burger + fries will run you about $ 8.
— It’s a pretty solid burger. I love the egg bun, which doesn’t get soggy too quickly (my peeve!). The patty is also humongous. However… there is a chance I was given the large instead of a medium accidentally — see below…
The cons:
— The patty itself was a little too dry for my liking. It was more on the side of well-​done rather than medium. Luckily the patty is also thinly «smashed» so this didn’t bother me too much.
— I asked for no pickles and no tomato on my classic smash burger. Even though the cashier took note of this, when I got home, I had both tomato AND pickles on my burger. This made me a little sad :(
I’ll probably stick to Shake Shack and Five Guys.

Burgers here are much MUCH less greasy than five guys. They also accommodate people with peanut and dairy allergies so another plus over five guys. Pretty decent burgers, a step up from the BGR close by. Good fries and shakes too.

I went a couple of weekends ago and had the regular Buffalo and Bleu Cheese burger. It was tasty, but I felt I’ve had better burgers from 5 Guys or The Burger Joint. The cheese and sauce were great, but there was something about the meat that was just eh. Service was decent, and the place (though they were getting ready to close since they had chairs up over half the seating area) was reasonably clean. Not a bad experience, but if I want a good burger I’ll go to the aforementioned places.

Tasty burgers, yummy veggie frites. We also get a pretty good deal since this location supported the local football team fundraiser and we now have a nifty little card with a buy one, get one deal. I’ll be sad if that goes away.

I was craving a burger and fries and it hit the spot. I got the classic burger so it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Their special sauce could be more «special». The burgers are made fresh to order but quickly.

i went here this past sunday with a friend after tennis practice & i got the kid’s fried chicken strips with fries that came along as a deal. it was about 5 – 6 $ (including tax) which was a great price!
it came within 10 min & we ate outside, perf weather. although there were only about 3 – 4 strips and a ton of fries, it was delicious! i wish there were less fries and more strips but i didn’t mind. the fries are skinny so i devoured them fast. service was friendly and fast, no complaints there.
i will def come back soon! i highly recommend this place and maybe i’ll try one of their famous smashburgers next time :)

I’ve eaten here several times. Well I’ve gotten take out several times never actually eaten in the restaurant. Every time I visit the restaurant is always clean and the staff friendly and courteous. I remember my first visit I had questions and all were answered to my satisfaction.
The burgers are really good. And I absolutely love the smash fries. Germantown have several burger spots I prefer Smashburger over them all.

I hate chain restaurants!!! That being said though I have to say this place is pretty good. Excellent food. Quick and courteous service.

Just stopped by here for the first time with the wife. It’s late afternoon so it wasn’t busy. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable. I had a big «Capital» burger and my wife had a regular BBQ bacon cheeseburger. We split a «smash» fries and both had milkshakes.
Anthony was behind the counter and was an excellent host while we were there. He was very informative of all of theorems they sell and made the experience enjoyable.
We all know there are plenty of burger spots in Germantown, but you should definitely give this place a shot. Take it from a foodie, their staff and their product is good!

As I walked in to look at the menu, it smelled worse than a gym; really bad body odor. I quickly put the menu down and left.
Who can eat in a place that smells bad.

My first time at Smashburger was a SMASHING success! The restaurant is in a great location and the menu is full of of awesome flavorful options. We were greeted with the friendliest server named Anthony of whom I cannot speak highly enough! He was helpful and informative and enthusiastic. We were very impressed with the folks and the flavors and will definitely return.

We came here for a quick bite before heading to Wegmans. The cashier was super awesome. I got a military discount on my food… which was super nice.
The onion straws came out the best I’ve had at any Smashburger location. Not super duper salty and fried to perfection. The Smashfries were good too… not super greasy but needed a touch more rosemary.
I had the organic arugula, truffle mushroom, & swiss burger. Soooooo good. I normally don’t do mayo… but had no problems plowing through this bad boy. Cooked to perfection too!
Coke & Honest Tea products… they know how to make a girl happy. I still have yet to try their milkshakes because after a regular burger and splitting an order of onion straws and Smashfries… I’m never hungry… in fact just ridiculously full. Trust me, I can put away some good quantities of food too.
Military discounts available at all the locations I’ve been too. You can find online coupons too that they’ll honor.

Smashburger! Oh how I loved you after the Unilocal event here! But alas, you are not nearly as fulfilling when I have to pay for you! Well, I mean, the food is good, yummy, delicious and awesome, except for the fact that I was still hungry after eating a regular Capital burger, sharing fries and drinking the peanut butter and jelly shake. It was a lot of food and a lot of calories and yet somehow not filling at all! So sad!
It also wasn’t worth buying more food, so we ended up just go shopping and getting some froyo. The next time I come back, I will get the bigger burger and hope the extra money I spent fills me up! Also, the peanut butter and jelly shake was not nearly as good as I remember. Definitely not worth the money, although I did love the peanut butter chunks. Yum, I love peanut butter!

Vegetarian review: The black bean burger sucked. I’m pretty sure it was cooked on the same grill top/​cooking surface as the meat ones, so it definitely picked up a lot of that flavor which for me, was unwanted.
My meat eating colleagues really enjoyed it though!

I’ve eaten here a few times now and for the most part really like it. They give you a flavorful custom-​made meal served fast and friendly with a beer or milk shake to go beside it. Here’s my run-​down from what I’ve tried —
Unlike the other overpriced gourmet burger chains, Smashburger is fast! No joke, I ordered a custom built burger and some fried pickles. I got my drink, sat down and looked at the watch…2:52. I had barely gotten out my iPhone to check email and @2:56, there’s somebody bringing me a tray. I had the same experience when I walked in for a to-​go order… my bag of 3 sandwiches was ready soon after I sat down to wait.
A few folks have said the burgers are greasy. I think it is a combination of juice and grease… the fast smash method of cooking puts a hard sear on the bottom of the burger. All the fat/​juice doesn’t drain out, so you get that in your burger. Probably does make for a greasier burger but not so much that I found it distracting.
There are secret menu items like Fried Pickles and the «Vegas» burger. That’s fun, right? Fried pickles are good. A little salty, but still good. The rosemary fries are my favorite though. Very solid flavor.
The Spicy Baja (chicken or burger) is awesome. It is SPICY! Usually chain food that says it is spicy, is not. The secret to this one is the Chipolte Bun which has some heat to it. Get that on any sandwich if you like a little kick with your smash.
The chicken sandwiches are awesome. They make a chicken club which has so much fresh flavor popping out of it, you won’t want to get a burger the next time you go. Here’s a tip… get guacamole on your sandwiches instead of Avocado. For $ 1 I got a hard chunk of avocado that didn’t really distribute well over your sandwich, but for the same $ 1 you get a hearty scoop of fresh made quac that spreads around much better.
Salad was very good. Surprised as I figured this would be an afterthought at a burger place, but it was a fresh spring mix with good ingredients.
Kids meals are $ 4.99 and if you get the burger it is a full size regular burger, fries and a drink. (soft drink or milk)
They have beer.

You are what you eat. I think I am a truffle mushroom Swiss burger.
Order at the counter and the cashier will give you a number to place on a table of your choice. Someone will bring you a parchment-​lined metal tray, hopefully with a truffle mushroom Swiss burger resting gently on top. This is where you realize you’re a freaking magician cus that burger disappears in about 52 seconds.
I typically enjoy my burgers medium-​rare, but Smashburger manages to offer a well-​done meat patty that is incredibly juicy and flavorful. The egg bun that sandwiches the patty is soft and nicely proportioned — not too thick, and doesn’t compress down to paper thin cardboard either.
The SmashFries are thinly cut, crispy sticks of potato, seasoned with rosemary, olive oil, and garlic. Try to remember to breathe as you stuff your face with these. Just a friendly reminder.

I had the sweet potato fries and the classic burger! Very very good. That would definitely be what I order when I go back.
The staff was super nice. They also have a good Oreo Shake. I also tried the Swiss and mushroom burger which was good too.
Needless to say, I’m stuffed! :)

The capital burger was hands down my favorite. I want to try the Vegas burger which is on their secret menu. (I guess it’s not a secret anymore?) lol
Some of the burgers were a tad salty but that would be easily rectified with some lettuce, tomatoes and onions!
The sweet potato fries are nice and crispy but tender on the inside– they don’t even need sauce. The truffle fries are tasty too even though I’m generally a bigger fan of thicker fries– it’s just a personal preference.
The fried pickles are also on the secret menu– they are nice and crispy.
The next time I go I wonder if they would be willing to layer the Hagen das strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate shakes all in one. That would be awesome.
I wish they had more girly alcohol available– if they are sticking to beers maybe add a wood chuck apple cider or something for those of us who like things a little sweeter.
Overall it’s a great new addition to the MoCo suburbs!
