The food here is delicious! I got the peanut butter soup with chicken and it came with fufu for dipping. The portion is huge! Enough for 2 meals. The lady at the counter was very nice!

5 stars for the food — not so much how good it is, because I only had one meal(the peanut butter soup, and it was excellent — spicy, but not in a way that caused me the trouble spicy Mexican or Chinese food does), but how strongly I felt after eating there that I wanted to return many times again to try everything on their menu. I had the feeling that the person who took my order was a little confused as to why a white person was in his restaurant, but maybe he’s just shy. I took one star off for the TV, which was hard to ignore. I could have asked to turn it off when I was the only person there, so it’s partly my fault.

Food was very good(more than 3 stars worth) though the restaurant itself could do with some interior design and fixing up. My meal(fish/plantains/beans) was around $ 12 and was very filling so I’d agree that it’s moderately priced. My friend and I were the only customers there on a Wed evening, and we ended up watching the tv which was playing rather loudly. If this place were to redo their interior it could easily become a Germantown fave. If you’re adventurous try the peanut butter soup which is spicy and different than anything I’d ever had!

Pink’s reminds me of a song by a West African artist. The lyrics go something like: You baaaaad, You want it! You baaaaad, You want it! You baaaaad, You want it! You want it cos you baaaadf! This place is pure temptation. Forget those promises to your wife, boss, pastor, accountant. This place will destroy them all. It is conveniently tucked away for an afternoon escapade. The entrees range from $ 11-$ 13 for sumptuous, finger-licking portions. The clientele are too busy immersing themselves in a bowl of Jollof rice, Banku or fried plantains with stew of beef, fried fish or chicken to notice or wonder about your presence. With the exception of the pleasant cashier your visit will go unnoticed. I do not in any way condone breaking lifelong, heartfelt bonds but if you must…
