Great food large portions. We went to this restaurant the other day the place was almost completely empty. Despite the fact that they restaurant seems the night ask a lot of popularity the food was quite good. The portion size what is quite large given the price. I asked them about the buffet because I wanted to know when was it available. The buffet seemed quite small considering that there are other Buffet options for Indian food within 1 mile. They are going to have to step up their game if they’re going to remain in business though the food was quite good.

Ordered delivery food from here. Pakoras were tough and rubbery and virtually inedible. Ended up throwing them out. Lamb biryani tasted ok BUT… the lamb pieces had bones in them. I could live with that. What I can’t live with is free floating shards of bone hidden amongst the rice. I nearly cracked a tooth! Had the chicken curry soup as well. Very little chicken but tasted OK. The only thing decent was the lamb gyro, although the pita was all soggy by the time it arrived. Would I order again… NOWAY!

Exceptional tasting good. Wife and I are always excited to have new people try this place, and they never have less than a great reaction. Tons of vegetarian options. We frequent the Paneer Tikka Masala, samosa chat, and garlic Naan. The owner is very kind, which is the cherry on top!

I’m a meat and potatoes kinda guy from the midwest. I enjoy good food and I’m not afraid to try new things. In fact most of the time I search it out. Hence, the reason I ended up trying this place. I’m new to «Indian» food and from what I’ve had hasn’t been all that bad. I got the Chicken 65, some fried Onion/veggie things and bread. The bread was the best part. I was actually afraid to eat the chicken. The Onion things weren’t horrible… just bad. Save your money. I spent $ 16 on lunch thinking I’d have some for the next day? Threw it right in the trash.

I ordered from here on GrubHub and it’s been over an hour and a half since I ordered. Still no food. I stupidly tipped ahead of time on my credit card and now am wishing I hadn’t. I called to check on my order, and the guy who answered was very dismissive and acted like my deliver my would be here within a minute. Maybe this was my mistake ordering from a place that’s more than 3 miles from my house, but I won’t be making this mistake again.

Awful food and customer service… went to eat there and ordered food. Food came out cold… the chicken was cold inside and the rice was watery… we told the guy who brought the food and he said he accidentally put in extra water. We then went to the a manger and told him. He said he’s going to try it and we told him can they remake the chicken and rice and he told us get out of here. We got our money and left.

I tried; I SO wanted to love this place– its almost right across the street from me(and the new Hospital, I thought that would bring in business, but alas– its always empty.) I’ve tried now 4 or 5 times, but its just not going to cut it. First, I love samosa chaats, chick peas and tamarind — YUM– but every time I ordered it, it came out different — not bad, just never the same twice, sometimes with yogurt or onions, sometimes not, no consistency(not a good sign.) So then I asked about and ordered the Bombay Bhel Puri– and again, although it was tasty, it did not have the chick peas/potatoes it said it did on the menu.(Also notice how nonspecific the menu is, describing how multiple dishes are«usually» made … beware.) Also the help is so bad, never seem to know what’s going on, or how to speak English. The garlic naan is good, but once they actually had the nerve to serve my onion kulchi bread after I was finished eating, telling me how it takes a long time to make. Finally, I ordered a ‘gyro wrap’ — BIGMISTAKE. First, it was not fresh, it arrived cold and I could hear the microwave; second, it is not served on pita as clearly stated on the menu, but rolled in a roti, like a burrito/tortilla, with wilted shredded lettuce; and third, it had a disgusting ‘sauce’ that tasted like a mix of mayonnaise and ketchup. Truly revolting. There are so many other good Indian and kabob places around, I can’t bring myself to give this one another try.

If I could give a 0 for customer service, I would. Just ordered delivery for this restaurant through grubhub. Saw that I made a typo in the phone number, and called the restaurant to confirm, and was told rudely that delivery was not an option today. Before I had the chance to react, the person hung up. I got hung up on two more times, as I tried to follow up with them on the order process. During the last call, they even try to tell me they didn’t receive the order at all(even though they said they had during the first call), and tried to get me off the phone as soon as possible. I heard from Grubhub later that they were new to the community. You won’t last long with that attitude.

This place is right down the street from where I live and I think it’s pretty new so I decided to go there tonight. The restaurant looked very clean. The servers were very friendly, and the food was excellent. I tried the lamb kabob. I thought the portions were very good, and it wasn’t too expensive either. I’ll definitely come back again

Wow that was by far the biggest waste of money and time EVER! I love Indian food and was excited to get my girls to agree to it for dinner tonight. I ordered delivery through GrubHub but first called the restaurant to ensure that there wasn’t a long delivery time(a nearly 2-hour wait from Jerry’s recently had me fearful). The man that answered the phone ensured me that delivery would be prompt. Excited and optimistic, I finished my order online. Sadly, my happiness ended there. An hour after I’d placed my order, I called to find out why my food still hadn’t arrived and was told that the driver was out and it’d be there shortly. The person was apologetic but did not offer a reason even when I reminded him that he’d told me that there’d be no delay. Our food did arrive a few minutes later but I was shocked at the extremely small amount of food considering the money that I’d spent. Though I’d spent nearly $ 40 on 3 entrees, we somehow ended up with only enough rice for one person. As well, we received 2 pieces of naan with the three entrees(and I’d paid for an extra order of naan!). Insult to injury, the small amount of food that we received was cold! The entire meal/experience was terrible. I definitely wont be giving them another chance… An hour to deliver and then $ 40 for cold food that was inadequate to feed a woman, a teenage girl, and a toddler. As another reviewer said, if no stars were possible, that’d be their rating.

Hubby and I decided to give this new place a try and man, it was good! I had the tandoori chicken, huge portion(2−¼ dark meat) comes with basmati rice, salad and bread. We also tried their mango lassi, also good. The place is small, but they can accommodate large group, which would take half of the restaurant. Service was great, friendly people.

This is a new«Indian/kabob» restaurant that proves the point that it takes skill to run a good restaurant, especially the kitchen, and at this point that skill is clearly lacking. I had picked up a printed copy of their menu the week before and was very interested in their beef kabob, but upon getting to the restaurant I was informed, no beef, yet the printed menus with the beef dishes listed were still on the table.(strike one). Okay, tandoori chicken is usually good, and in this case that was quite true, the chicken was quite tasty. However it came with Basmati rice that was tasteless, lumpy, and cold(strike two). Finally, we had ordered the Samosa Vegetable appetizer, but it did not arrive at our table until we were almost done with our dinner(strike three).

Ordered take out and when I arrived the door was locked. I called the restaurant and said I was here for the take out order. Not sure why the door is locked when the restaurant was open; I picked up at around 5pm. I ordered the the chicken dum biryani and the Bombay bhel puri. My wife ordered the falafel wrap with fries. Beware when ordering the chicken dum biryani, the chicken is not boneless and was buried underneath the rice. I got it medium spicy and it was pretty much at the spicy level I can stand. The bhel puri was ok, not as good as others I have had. My wife didn’t like the falafel wrap; I tried it and it was ok. It tasted like there were pickles in the wrap. All in all it was ok. They just opened so hopefully it gets better.

If I could give these people no stars I would. The restaurant is FULL of people eating and stuffing their faces, but the door is locked. They won’t let anyone in, they don’t answer the phone when you call, there are no employees on duty to answer questions and yet they have a sign that says grand opening . Another guest was waiting outside and told me that this was the 2nd time that this has happened. The excellent reviews on Zabihah are most likely lies and mostly written by employees or family members. I will never make an attempt to come here again. It’s a smack in the face and they must not want the restaurant to do well. Note to restaurant: If you want to do well, you may want to place a sign that says«Not Open Yet» or «Closed Due to Party». Don’t have a Grand Opening sign and 20 people in your restaurant eating and then lock the door to potential patrons.
