Milano’s Pizza & Pasta

I love Milanos! They are so wonderful. Tony and his staff are warm and genuine and know their customers by name. The pizza is so cheesy and good. I also recommend the penne vodka. Delish!

Milanos’s Pizza is the best in Germantown! Fresh dough, great subs, quick and courteous delivery. Prices are good especially Monday you get any size pizza for $ 10 up to 5 toppings.
The menu is extensive for a carry out. Entrees, pizza, salad, starters, calzone, desserts, etc.

The pizza here is the star, don’t waste your time on the wings as they are the breaded and fried variety. I ordered the veggie pizza and the toppings were fresh and the crust perfect.
Pass on the heavily breaded zucchini sticks but the marinara sauce that comes with it is awesome.

This is probably my favorite pizza joint in Germantown. Their milanos signature white pizza with the red peppers artichoke hearts and I think capers is perfect I tend to ask for some garlic sauce. You can really taste the quality in the ingredients. I also had the pizza Gina it is delicious but way too greasy like as if they poured some oil in the finished product it’s got pesto and tomato. Their delivery service is not worth it imo minimum 15 bucks plus 2 dollar fee like where they do that at? Chile bye! Just go on over there and pick up your food the customer service is great and while you are there perhaps sign up for one of those fitness centers next door because lord knows you will need it after a couple trips at milanos.

Great service, great pizza. They never get the order wrong, and their timing to make the pizza is fast.

This place is tiny but they have fast and good food! The pizza is delicious and I will have to try something else next time! Very friendly folks there!

I was so pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of their food. Placed a delivery order yesterday, and everything arrived promptly, neatly packed and the taste was really good. I had tried other similar places in the area and was not expecting much, but Milano’s quality was well above anything we tried before.

Milano’s has become the best pizza spot in germantown. The pizza is Brooklyn style (YUM!!), the subs are adequate, and the delivery is fast!
Our family has been ordering from these guys for a while now and they have yet to disappoint. On Mondays they have a great special to take advantage of. The delivery guys are great and always have a good attitude. Make sure to ask if they have any specials going on, most of the time the have a deal.

Ordered for pickup this weekend (the second time we have done so) and received a super incorrect order. We ordered a veg calzone (- red peppers, + sausage) and a chicken brunello, and the receipt reflected this. Turns out we were given chicken parmesan and a meat calzone (the one without any veg, but with sausage, ham, and pepperoni). The lady inside the store realized the chicken parm was wrong and apologized.
The food was fine for what it was, and we’d previously had chicken piccata and penne arrabiata which were very tasty.

We are probably Milanos number one customers in Clarksburg that order delivery. Hint: order from their website and not grub hub. You’ll get more customizing options through them. Plus you get an email when it’s actually out for delivery.
Things I order regularly: steak and cheese sub, chicken parm, ravioli rose, garlic bread, zucchini sticks, steak fries, and limoncello cake.
These are my favorite things to order from here. For the most part these things are consistently delicious. A few times the mark has been missed.
My biggest complaints are:
steak fries are never cooked correctly unless you ask for them to be cooked well done. But then they come greasy, like the oil wasn’t drained completely.
The same thing with the zucchini sticks. Every time I order these I ask for them to be cooked well done. I want them so badly to be crunchy and golden brown. Instead they come soggy and beige. But when they are how I want them they are so frickin’ good.
Who ever packs the bags for delivery either forgets things or packs the wrong things. We’ve been giving mango cake instead of limoncello cake. Sodas have been forgotten on way more than three occasions; to the point where now we put instructions for them to «don’t forget our sodas again :(.» Seems to do the trick.
Customer service when you call the store with questions could be A LOT better. Called to inquire about a delivery that took nearly an hour and a half and was offered no apology. Didn’t call to be a bitch just called to find out if it was still coming. And both people on the phone were unapologetic about the time it was taking. We get it, it’s Friday, it’s busy, delivery will be longer, but grub hub gives you a time it’ll be there by. So when it’s not there by that time people get worried about the driver and if the food even went through. It doesn’t take much to say «we’re so sorry, it’s on it’s way, we’re busy today.»
However, the good times and food FAR out weigh the bad. We don’t order on Fridays a lot to avoid the issues with it being Friday and busy. Ordering on Tuesdays seems to be the best day to get the most delicious meal from there.
Their chicken parm is the best chicken parm ever. The chicken portion is huge! And you get a ton of noodles to go with. It always tastes fresh too. The ravioli rose sauce is amazing. And the cheese inside is smooth and overfilled almost! The steaks and cheese have the perfect amount of steak in them, not too much not too little. And finally the limoncello cake is the most tasty cake I’ve ever had. I absolutely hate cakes like wedding and birthday cakes. But this lemon cake is so light, airy, moist, and not too sweet. I’m seriously considering getting a whole cake for my birthday meal. We tried the Quattro formaggio pizza last night but with red sauce and IT WAS AMAZING! Another reason to order from their site and not grub hub is because you can’t get this combo from GH. And you should try it.
This place is definitely better than all the other pizza/​sub shops that deliver to Clarksburg. No matter if we have a bad experience one night we are always loyal. Sorry for the long rambly review. This is after being loyal customers for the last two years. Keep it up Milano’s! Your food is delicious, we just need a few tweaks to make it just a bit better.

I tried this place based on the strong reviews. The meatball sub was delicious but I just wish it had a little more sauce and less cheese. Maybe I can ask for that next time. The side salad was fresh and good and I liked that they included the dressing on the side. The folks there were extremely friendly.
I’m editing this review to say I tried the pizza and wings as one of their specials. The wings were a bit disappointing– they really aren’t buffalo wings, just fried wings with a slightly spicy taste. They were okay but I prefer them at another nearby place. But the pizza was wonderful. I got one with sausage and mushrooms. I’ll certainly be back to try some other toppings, and maybe try their entrees.
I also like that they have a phone app, though I haven’t used it yet– I think that will be very convenient!

While their wings are alright, their pizza is definitely better than most in this area. I’m from NJ and I think this is one of the best pizza places in the area for a New York style pizza. There’s not much going on with the crust (for those Pizza Hut garlic crust lovers out there), but there’s not supposed to be! Their toppings are generally pretty tasty. I’m a big fan of their Milano’s Special and their Chicken Pesto is a great pick as well!

This place is small with nowhere to sit (just a small counter), but the food is great! Today we ordered calzone, chicken parm, and the garlic/​cheese bread. I’ve had pizzas before and they were also excellent. The delivery fee is only $ 2 which is well worth it!
The staff member on the phone was very nice, delivery only took 45 min to an hour as promised. And the delivery man was friendly.
We’ll definitely be ordering from here again!

I read the reviews and thought yessss I found a good pizza place. However my pizza wasn’t very good at all. My family agreed. The delivery was fast, the pizza was delivered hot and the soda was ice cold. Hence my the reason it got any stars. The pizza itself looked amazing but it was DRY! What do i mean by DRY? It had NOOOOOO SAUCE and it tasted as if it had been reheated. It didn’t taste fresh AT ALL.

Their pizza is good and that’s about all. This last time I went, I was foolish and decided to try their pasta. I asked what the most popular dish was and I was told it was the Baked Ziti. This was really good for me because Baked Ziti is one of my all-​time favorite pasta dishes. I got it twenty mins later, which I thought would be worth it if the pasta was as good as I hoped. IT WAS NOT. It tasted like bad pizza. There was no good part about it. The menu said the pasta came with bread. As with any pasta, I expected some sort of variation of toasted garlic bread but all it was was a soggy dinner roll. I gave it all to my younger brother who eats everything, so it wasn’t a complete waste of money.

AH! Why didn’t I stop here sooner?! I live, literally, across the street and passed by this little place so many times. I’m from New York and I consider myself somewhat of a pizza snob. So, I know good pizza when I taste it. Well… this is good pizza! Milano’s has a new customer for life. We ordered the X-​Large pizza, one side cheese the other side pepperoni and a large house salad. The pepperoni side of the pizza was a little salty, but still enjoyable. The crust was the perfect, thin enough to fold in the middle and hold, but sturdy enough not to flop at the biting end. The flavors took me back to the little, italian family owned, pizzeria on the corner were I grew up in Queens.
I won’t go as far as saying that this pizza is a good as NY pizza. But for a Germantown pizzeria, it’s pretty darn close!

I can’t lie it was quite yummy! I would order again from here. We ordered a extra large cheese pizza.
