Limited menu. Kind of an odd establishment. It seemed to be a crappy liquor store w cheap light beer & a variety of mostly undrinkable hobo liquor but w a twist! There is a grill off to the side for subs. I would have given the joint two stars but I actually like the booze sub combo. Though there is no elegance to this place, conceptually I approve. I got a large steak bomb totaling to $ 9.90. The two women behind the counter were super pleasant. Cook was a cute/friendly slightly older broad. Offered to still make me breakfast although I was 15 mins past when it said they stop breakfast. The steak bomb wasn’t bad. Though nothing amazing either, rather run of the mill. Steak, peppers, onions, shrooms, and a couple slices of deli meat w w/e messy sauce. Good, but not staggering. The product a dollar or two cheaper would be something worth mentioning. I however do understand a profit is required to pay rent. All in all, not a bad place. However, nothing to go outta the way for. Def better than the Dunks across the street.

The inside of this convenience store is home to cheap beer, staple spirits, and hidden love. The owner has carved out a market on regular blue collar guys. The kind of men who buy a paper and roast beef sandwich before going to build, dig, or demolition something. This store kind of reminds me of a rolling cafeteria truck in a fixed building. Its not the best looking building in the world, but the food and conversation is so good you go again and again. Take my warning and run to this fantastic submarine sandwich hidden jewel.

Their subs are really good it just doesn’t seem very clean inside. …and they don’t let customers use the rest room facility. I like the subs a lot I just wish they would clean the place.

Best breakfast sandwiches to be sure! No microwaves used here. Good coffee to. I come to Johnies instead of going to DDs across the street. Love the subs. If your feeling adventurous and Johny working the grill. Ask him to make you something.

I’ve only ever gotten the steak/cheese/mushroom here and had to wait awhile to review since I don’t get them very often. I drive by once a month on another errand and will stop when I’m craving a steak sub. Twice my meal was cooked by an older woman, once by a younger woman. The reason I had to wait to review was because the younger woman made the sub on the second visit. If she had made my first, I probably never would have gone back because it was so skimpy. The other two times it was fine, not overflowing, but fine. They serve breakfast until 11AM and lunch until 2PM. For hot subs you only have a choice of hamburger, meatball or steak. They offer 8 different cold subs. Prices range from $ 5.95 — $ 8.50. The breakfast offerings are all egg sandwiches ranging from $ 3.25 — $ 7.75. They offer bakery items like muffins, donuts and bagels. In the back of the store they sell alcohol.

Limited menu, I had an Italian sub, that was pretty good. Fast service once they got to the counter. I ordered a small sub that was generous in with meat. All and all good sub! I will go back
