Applebee’s

Have been to this location three times now. Food is pretty good for a chain and the prices are not bad. Service depends on your waiter.

We used to like to stop by here after a workout as they had a low calorie menu; shortly after we started regular visits, they removed the bulk of the healthy choices and replaced with meals over 1000 calories. Now that’s just the corporate side of the company. My complaint with this particular location is that upon our latest visit, we were greeted at the door with an overwhelming stench of sewage. As we were led to a table deeper in the restaurant, I turned to my wife and I must have had a look on my face; she says «it smells terrible in here!». I stopped in my tracks and wouldn’t venture further in. I asked the server from the distance (albeit as quietly as possible) if there was a restroom problem. She didn’t know, couldn’t smell anything and said she could ask the manager. We just said that we couldn’t eat here, and left. I won’t be going back unless someone from the place responds and says the problem is cleared up.

With recent menu introductions over last few months, we’ve been frequenting Applebee’s on a regular basis like the neighborhood grill that it’s branded itself to be. It’s been a great run with good food and service.
Tonight, I tried a new burger that I hadn’t noticed before (it’s been out two days) called «The Blazin’ Texan’ and it was off the chain greatness. It hitting pretty hot with the heat from fresh jalapenos, but in combo with the sweet smoky brisket, it finishs quite well. The sweet potato fries was the perfect complement to offset the heat of the burger. Nowadays, bragging on a burger is no small feat with the gourmet burgers that abound around the #atx, but for this burger holds it own.

Food is great. However sitting in a booth. He window blind is disgustingly dirty. Ugh.

Not worth the money you spend! Service was good. Steak was under cooked and the shrimp was over cooked.

Applebee’s deserves more credit! Chili’s who???
We come here frequently. Always get in & out quickly. Nice & clean.
Good food! Yummy! They did recently change the menu up some– we will get used to it. Oriental Chicken Salad Yum-​O! My husband is all about the appetizer sampler.

My husband and I frequent here A LOT. We were coming here two to three times a week. I don’t think I have ever left dissatisfied with our visit. The staff are always chatty and polite, we can always strike up good conversation with the bartenders… they’ve even memorized how I like my margarita made. Service is quick, orders are punched in right away and appetizers are out quickly.
I switch up the plates quite often, and the food has always been delicious and very filling. I think the only time I didn’t like something was a cajun shrimp appetizer… it wasn’t gross, but the taste was different than what I expected. Steaks are always juicy, tender, and nicely seasoned. The oriental salad is a must try (unless you dislike sweet-​tangy dressings). All the desserts are fantastic. I love the French Onion soup, but I think they under cook it a tad. Traditional french onion has a bit of a… burnt (?) taste, for lack of a better word due to the caramelized onions and torched cheese (yumm). Still, I get it about half the time.
I actually don’t understand why the Applebees chain comes under such heat as a low end place… really, we love it. We will keep returning!

Unbelievable! We had lousy service from the moment we sat down. I ordered 3 kids Shirley Temples. They brought 3 large drinks. I clarified that they were supposed to come in a lidded cup because we were getting kids meals. She said ‘oh sorry well I already put them in the register they will be $ 2.50 a piece.’ I tried to appeal the charge but clearly she didn’t believe she was in he wrong so we paid $ 7.50 for our kids drinks. I had to ask for the free drinks that came with the kids meal as a to-​go. About 5 mins into is sitting there one of the large kids drinks spilled. Our waitress came and dropped about 100 napkins on our table and then went to another table. Also, if you haven’t been to Applebees lately you would be shocked at the portion sizes. Our $ 7 spinach artichoke dip is a much smaller portion size and came with about 10 chips. We finished the chips in about three minutes and then they brought out my full size oriental salad (it was so small) and then 20 minutes later brought out the rest of my families food. Craziness! We ate fast and then got out of there. We won’t go back!

My family and I decided on Applebee’s because Chili’s was packed. Considering it was a Friday night the wait was not bad. Less than 8 minutes. Our waiter was new and training with another lady. This lady kept calling me and my husband «hon». I think she was sincere but it really didn’t sound right. Now my 5year old is calling me «hon» lol. The food was great. Drinks even better. Great for families with young ones because of the kids menu options. Prices are reasonable. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the whole hon thing and my 34 year old husband being carded, then 2 minutes later I was carded too. I think carding my husband or myself was enough, but carding of us… come on. Oh well. We will go back. And I will update then.

We had a $ 50 Applebee’s gift card to use (one we held on to for 4 years) so I decided to take the fam. The good thing is we used the gift card. That’s the end of the good. The best thing is we NEVER have to go back to this place.
1. No hostess at the front. After 5 minutes standing there she showed up and was rude.
2. It took at least 15 – 20 minutes after we st to get water.
3. We only saw the waitress every 15 – 20 minutes.
4. The food was just terrible. Most of it was un-​edible and just gross. The fried cheese stick were ok on the app sampler. The boneless buffalo wings came slathered with a nasty BBQ sauce. Which was not requested. I don’t think it is unreasonable to assume Buffalo wings come with a wing sauce.
We also had 2 of the 9 oz sirlion steaks. I was not expecting much in the steak but the waitress said they were the best thing on the menu. The were obviously frozen and most likely old. They were not edible. Should have sent them back was just ready to get out of there.
STAY AWAY!

Went to Applebee’s after a movie and we order quite a few things. Everything came at the same time and it was great. All the food was delicious. We got a lot of appetizers. Also our server he was fantastic. His name was Johnathan and he was just so nice and the best server I’ve had in a long time. Hope whenever we go back we sit in his section again.

The last time I was here I wrote a review that was not very flattering for this restaurant. I think I gave it two stars at the time and this time I almost gave it one star but I gave it two stars because the service was good but not great. I wish they had better control on the amount of salt in the food. A dinner should not have twice the daily amount that is required per day. 3900 milligrams of salt in a serving is more than a person should have over two days of six meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Why can’t they leave out the salt? I am disappointed again.

A mediocre Applebees. Not too clean, service not so good, quality of food mediocre. Even was served wine that had spoiled and the bartender could have cared less. Won’t ever go back to this one.

Last night we had a big group at a nice long table. The waitress was dressed in a Bat Girl outfit including a mask so that was lots of fun and kind of surprised me! Another waiter was in a costume as well. The service was decent. The food was decent. I got a wonderful seasonal spinach salad that included chicken, strawberries, grapes with a light dressing. A few of us ate and were very pleased with the delicious Won Ton Taco with the Asian slaw in them. The soups and the pastas are fine. There are healthy choices on the menu. This is a good family place. Some friends eat here at this particular Applebees all the time and love it.

This could be a nice place to eat but for one main exception: the food is way, way, way too salty. Before you go there, check the menu and nutritional information online. Almost all dinners have from one to two teaspoons of salt in them. I think I know why they do that, to sell more beer. The water is free but I had to down three glasses of water.

They sat us away from most people so that it would not be a problem if we were too loud.
Our waitress was amazing and nice and was playing good music on the jukebox (I put in quite a few Morrissey songs, stop me if you’ve heard THIS one before)
The rest of place was about normal for an Applebee’s, which is to say, not as fun as the Applebee’s in Snellville Georgia.
The bathroom is not where you think it is, that is the kitchen.
Why did I walk there?
That was SUCH a wrong turn.
Ugh.

This restaurant is not closed, ate here on 3÷8÷11. Maybe it moved from it’s previous location.
Nothing special, typical Applebees. I think they put out better salads these days than steak meals. Service was what you would expect, not sure how to fix this to open and with the correct address but there is an Applebes in Georgetown if you are looking to dine there.
