Please read! Don’t walk, RUN! This is by far the worst doctor I have ever encountered in my life. I was referred to him by my primary physician, due to pain in my stomach. 1st consultation with Dr Mullick, was about 5 minutes. He never once examined my stomach to feel for any abnormalities. Immediately he suggest I get a colonoscopy & an upper GI. Procedures were scheduled out a month later. My pain only progressed and worsened. I called his office to see if there was anything I can do for the pain and discomfort, the gal who answered the phone suggest I go to the emergency room. Really? No sympathy whatsoever! Finally, my colonoscopy was done. Having to wait almost 2 hours, because the doctor was running late. Nurses at hospital joked and said he is always running late. Once in recovery after the colonoscopy he spent maybe 5 min max. He advised results can take 4 – 6 weeks. but I was curious And asked a question, his expressions showed I was wasting his time and wanted to avoid any further questions. A week later my upper GI is done. He is extremely late, again! Same thing, results in 4 – 6 weeks. As I tried asking a question, I was rushed and said to schedule an appt to discuss results. Finally, the day of anticipation came. I had been anxiously waiting for the results. I arrive at my appointment. Luckily, he was there and not late. However, when he walked in the room to see me. Looks over my chart and Asks me if we had discussed results from colonoscopy. ?? I said no, that’s why I’m here. His diagnosis was I have excessive acid and we will have to do more«expensive» testing done. He seemed shady and out of focus. Iit was obvious he didn’t have my results in my chart and was guessing. I advised him my pain had worsen to be unbearable. Still till this day, never examined my stomach. He concluded that appointment to come see him next week. to discuss further testing. All that waiting for nothing! The next morning I called his office and requested copies of my results. I was put on hold and was advised results were not in my chart. I knew it!!! She advised there was a note that I was going to call the hospital directly for my results. At that point I said Dr Mullick. YOU’REFIRED! I picked up my results from the hospital, saw a new dr the next morning and turns out I have an infection and was prescribed antibiotics. I reported Dr Mullick to the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation Doctors like him should not be allowed to serve patients. It is obvious his priority is making money, not caring for his patients. Lastly, I find it humorous how he replies to the reviews. Not once is he apologetic! Please Dr Mullick save your time and don’t bother replying with your nonsense comments. For once make your patients your priority as you mention in your comments.

Arrogant and disrespectful. I would not recommend him to anyone. Don’t be surprise if you have to wait up to two hours for a scheduled appointment.

If there was an option to not give him one star, I would. He’s not even deserving of the one star. When I first went to his office I waited almost an hour and a half to see him. Once I finally saw him I spoke to him for only 15 min, as he basically tried to rush me out the door. I came in complaining of symptoms of IBS and he told me that the best test would be to do a endoscopy and a colonoscopy, which I agreed in doing. For my endoscopy my appt was at 11am and didn’t end up getting the procedure done for an hour after that. For my colonoscopy, I had been starving myself for over 24 hours as once again I waited an hour and a half after my scheduled procedure time. All the staff could say was that he was running behind due to the camera malfunction. He is NEVER on time nor does he spend much time with you. He doesn’t care about how your feeling but more towards how much money he is going to get from you. Even after my procedures he only spent 10 min with me as to what he found. He told me that I had too much acid in my esophagus and my stomach, so he prescribed me Nexium which is the most expensive drug on the market for that and sent me on my way. He never once after the tests addressed my original symptoms of IBS. And for me to have GERD, or acid reflux I would have had to come in complaining of lots of heartburn, which I had NEVER had before. He obviously didn’t pay attention to details or what I was saying. Finally after suffering with the symptoms for a year I went to another doctor and obtained my records from dr mullick to update the new dr on what we have done. When looking at the records the new dr discovered that he never even wrote down that I had an sign of over active acid or GERD. He basically put me on a drug that he probably got some kind of incentive for for putting a patient on. He put me on a drug that I NEVER even needed and told me I was going to be on it for the rest of my life. I’m 21 years old. Finally after going to a new dr I was diagnosed with IBS… What I thought I had allll along! He’s a fraud and too money hungry to even be considerate to his patients. Save yourself frustration and find a more accountable doctor. I had an exploratory endoscopy done to figure out a reoccurring pain in my stomach. The doctor left before I woke up from procedure and left no post operative instructions. Nor did I hear from the doctor the following day. The only factual information I have is that I have hit my deductible. This is an unacceptable way to practice medicine. I waited 5 days with no word I called to request my files. I have every intention on contacting the Ama, Illinois department of financial and professional regulation, and further review boards like .

Had a procedure scheduled, waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes before he got to me. Medical staff is outsourced(which I found out when I received my bill from them) and his staff at the front desk are very strange. Waiting rooms are all nicked up on walls and basic medical setting is not normal. After my procedure he spent 2 minutes with me and no more. His secretary immediately came in and shooed me out the door. I WILLNOTBERETURNING
