All of the food tastes like it’s frozen. We had the calamari appetizer, which was very greasy. Frozen lasagna and frozen veal Parmesan. Definitely not home make authentic Italian food.

Pretty decent food & service. Only complaint was that the seafood pasta special. Literally had an inch of oil laying on top of what should have been a fresh tomato and basil sauce. Otherwise calamari & eggplant were pretty good.

This is a great family restaurant. One of my favorites is the manicotti. Creamy filling with a home made pasta. Very consistent and the servings of pasta are over the top. The home made bread and marinara is a staple The wait staff is very attentive. This restaurant is under new ownership but still family owned. Excellent !!!

First, See my review of 7/6/14…wife and I ate at Constantino’s several times over the past few years. So, since we knew this was an awesome place and the food was fantastic we put Constantino’s at the top of our dining list while in the finger lakes for«Deck the Halls» wine tour. After a fabulous day traveling the Seneca Lake wineries and enjoining robust wines and flavors of the region, we settled in for a fantastic dinner at Constantino’s. Well. Aside from the salad and drinks our experience was disappointing. Quite frankly it sucked. My wife’s Chicken Cordon Bleu was supposed to have prichutto but had ham. It was the frozen type you get from Sysco — not fresh. It was not good I had the Calamari as an app — it was not fresh but frozen. For dinner I had the Veal Feast — Tasted like S – t. Sauce was dark, not bright red. The veal was not fresh, it was a frozen patty. Really gross. What pisses me off is that i paid $ 19 for frozen food, not fresh. I asked our waitress if anything changed since last year when we came in December. She said yes! The ownership changed from the parents to the son. Well, this explained the everything. Saving money by using frozen instead of fresh will drive your customers away. The parents did an excellent job! Prior experiences were amazing. Sorry to say we will NOT be back here again. What a disappointment!

had better Italian. Best part was how they wrapped up the leftovers

I still like the prime rib here BUT, the new manager has redone the menu and eliminated several old favorites, including the Brasciole(claimed that it was a slow seller… although I had many times when it was sold out before I got there!!). So, although I still go there for the prime rib, It is off my list for Italian fare.

Old-school. Like iceberg lettuce salads topped only with anemic tomatoes and croutons, and groups of old men telling loud, borderline rude jokes at the bar kind-of-old-school. We had a good time, but there were large groups(ours, as well as another in the same room) and not much elbow room. I guess we just didn’t love the food. We wanted to like this place since it doesn’t appear to be a chain, but with all the phenom restaurants available everywhere we’ve been, we were not impressed with several of Geneva’s dining experiences. In particular one that isn’t updating it’s offerings to change with the times.

Was looking for a quick place to take food back to my hotel right across the street. This restaurant was on the hotel list but not necessarily recommended by the front desk clerk. I walked in and the gentlemen helped me right away. Took me into the bar with a menu and got me squared away with the bartender. Got the food as promised and took it back to the hotel. Once back, I thought it might be more on the warm side. Was I mistaken. I had the tortellini special along with the garlic rolls. All were fabulous! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Locals and travelers alike. Phenomenal food!

Two of us had dinner at Nonna’s on Thursday May 21, 2015. Food was right out of the 1960’s(fortunately the prices were out of the 1980’s). The salad was the dreaded«iceberg», with 2 small round cherry tomatoes, and 3 shredded carrot bits, with the bottled red«Italian» dressing. all chilled to the max and pre-fab. My Lasagna was so over done it was mush & fell apart on the plate; plus it was covered in a thin watery red sauce. My partner’s pasta had the same red sauce and very little seafood. All in all pretty sad. Crowd all seemed well past retirement age.

So this place is right across the street from my hotel. I stop in for some past and salad after calling ahead and find they’re just a tad slow on the uptake. Not sure what took so long, but they finallly got my to-go order ready and I take it away. Pasta mushy. Salad might have been great yesterday but lackluster today

Excellent food. Entrees were chicken francaise and veal Marsala. Nice selection of wine by the glass and a full bar. The chicken was a generous portion, cooked perfectly and the sauce was excellent. The veal Marsala was served over linguine with mushrooms and artichoke hearts, which is different, but an incredible combination. All I can remember is throughout the meal we both kept saying how great the sauce is. We couldn’t mop up enough of it onto the fresh slices of Italian bread. Desserts were also made in house and we enjoyed the tiramisu and rice pudding. The tiramisu could have used a touch more espresso soaking but was very good. The rice pudding had hints of nutmeg and cinnamon. Overall, a very good meal at a reasonable price. I would recommend this place and will certainly come back on my next stop through town.

The lower-star reviews here are terribly off-base. Obviously from people who don’t know a good Italian restaurant when they see it. The Eggplant Parmasean Luigi was PHENOMENAL. The prices were remarkable. Brittney at the bar was not only VERY lovely but also very attentive. I don’t think that I have ever felt so welcome at a restaurant bar. Thank you Nonna and Brittany for such a great evening in Geneva.

This place has fake reviews. I walked in and should have walked out. The place looked updated outside but was really old and run down on the inside. The old rug smell was so bad I asked to sit outside. The service was terrible, the poor girl looked embarrassed to work there. Really gave this place a chance, I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs cause I didn’t think you can really mess that up. Literally the worst meatball I ever tasted, if you can call it that. It was bread mixed with meat. You should not have to use a knife on meatballs. There was about half a cup of pasta water in the bowl rendering the pasta tasteless. The young lady comes by and asked how everything was and I explained. She said oh sorry, and that’s pretty much it. Literally the worst dining experience ever. I got severe indigestion from what I ate. The next day my client asked where I ate and they cringed. I really want trust reviews but they let me down in this case. I guess if Nonnas paid more attention to reviews then they did to their actual establishment.

This place is underrated. The food is awesome, the bar is stocked, the staff knows what’s up, and the food is awesome.(Yes, it was worth repeating.) Awesome lunch menu, great dinner, desserts that will jettison you to the stratosphere. All east coast, all good!

This place immediately lost its chance of a high rating from the time we walked in the door. The manager was highly unprofessional. He loudly complained about his late wait staff right in front of us. The hostess was extremely scattered and couldn’t even read the name of the reservation in the book. Then when we got seated there were just 4 tables, yet it took a long time for the waiter to even approach us. We were there about 40 minutes before my husband and I each had a beer. Then my friend tried to order one of their approximately 5 listed cocktails but they couldn’t make it because they were out of lemonchello(sp?). I ordered the seafood pasta. It was ok but nothing to rave about. my husband disliked his shrimp pesto pasta. So for a $ 20 plate we were extremely disappointed. Our waiter was quite good, attentive and helpful. And the after meal cappuccinos were really tasty. But other then that there were no redeeming qualities for this restaurant.

Nonna’s is the poster child for mediocre Italian Restaurants that have infiltrated America’s culinary scene. The portions are enormous, and even though that is appealing for many of the broke, starving college kids that you see eating here, its incredibly unnecessary and wasteful stereotype that so many«homey» Italian restaurants try to follow. I have been incredibly underwhelmed each time that I have come to Nonna’s. Their salads are a pile of brown limp-dick lettuce and hastily cut vegetables drenched in syrupy dressing. The bolognese sauce is flavorless and the pasta is far overdone. The service, though nice, is inattentive and clueless. The restaurant is dirty and dusty which, in retrospect, really makes you wonder what the kitchen is like ! If you are craving an enormous portion of unsatisfying, flavorless noodles, Nonna’s is your place. Geneva has so much more to offer than Nonna’s and honestly, you can do better.

It’s not like they’re not trying. Service was friendly, and our plates looked really pretty and delicious. Unfortunately, the red sauce was dry and a bit too bold/dense. And the chicken cacciatore came with questionably cooked chicken in a watery sauce that slid right off the pasta. The Italian dressing was, however, quite good, and the Italian bread was soft. Also, a bottle of Tony’s Red(a little sweet) will only cost you $ 15 bucks. For under $ 50 bucks, it’s not bad.
