Underwhelming! The rack of ribs were barely warm and dry. There was no BBQ sauce on them — just smoked with a dry rub. Asked for BBQ sauce. It was an extra charge! What?! Sauce tasted weird. Didn’t eat it. Only ate ½ the ribs. Macaroni and cheese was real good. And chicken tenders were really good. Fried pickles were real good. Grilled chicken breast with bacon strips on top and a grill pineapple ring was decent. Overall, we will go somewhere else next time.

We loved everything about this place. The place itself, well kept and clean. The food! Really great smocked pork and chicken, delicious! The desserts, homemade cakes and other goodies that perfectly fit the meal. The severs, kind, polite, professional, and just good people. The patio… they allow dogs.(and they actually love dogs!) We’ll go back

A group of us went there for dinner. We went early and got seat pretty quick. Reservations are highly recommended since it is a busy tourist town. We tried almost everything a little bit. It’s good to share and taste more fishes. We like prime rib, tacos, chipotle wings, cheesy chips with pork. The salad is not that impressing, the smoke BBQ rib is a little dry, the grill fish is also a little dry. But overall it is a good place for group gathering. Parking is easy. Service is good. Ample seating.

Drive on and save yourself the time, money and bad food. We ordered the cheeseburger medium with onion rings. They were frozen rings and a burger that mooed! Also, we ordered the nachos and were told they were spicy with pulled pork. Throw on some weird cheese, cold pork, can of black beans and corn on some stale chips and you have their version of spicy nachos! Good luck if you stop!

Food was okay but service was EXTREMELY slow. We were one of maybe 10 tables in the whole place and it took nearly an hour for food after we ordered it. I asked advise of what to order form server and she recommended the«Triple Jimmy Burger». I ordered it and asked to have it cooked medium. It was actually more like well done and it was 3HUGE patties that no human should or could consume. It was nearly a pound of meat of not more. I knocked off 2 patties and only ate one of them. Very wasteful and should’ve been informed of how huge of a burger it was. Definitely won’t be back.

I came here with my family while on vacation. It is a laid back atmosphere, full bar, and live entertainment. There was a longer than usual wait for our appetizers and main entrees but the food made up for the wait. They make everything from scratch and a rotisserie in back. Definitely would come back again.

We were looking at Unilocal reviews and decided to try this place out for some authentic Tennessee barbecue and food. Nice establishment. Servers were super friendly. They had a live pianist, guitarist, and singer who played some really good classics… very nice dinner music and not too loud so we can hear ourselves. They were able to seat 7 of us very fast. I ordered the combo which had barbecue chicken and ribs and it was a lot more than I thought. The picture showed 4 ribs and small chicken breast but I literally got a half chicken and half slab of ribs. It was very tender off the bone ribs and chicken. The sauce was very tasty. I also got the side mac n cheese and cinnamon apples side. The mac n cheese tasted really good because they use gauda(sp?) cheese and the apples were like a dessert. The cost was very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Everyone else liked their dishes as well. If you’re in the area, definitely worth a visit!

Came here with my father for lunch while we were in town. I had to laugh at the reviewer further down who said that they were total foodies and had been out and about dining in Gatlinburg. Gatlinburg is not a foodie destination at all. The food here is mostly garbage — think chains and poorly cooked. I think it’s important to say this because Three Jimmy’s is the only restaurant I have been to in Gatlinburg for lunch/dinner that I would happily return to again. We had a table outside, and it was very pleasant. Service was polite and attentive. We felt very welcomed here and did not have the unpleasant experience described by the other reviewer. My father had a burger with fries, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had some of his fries, and they were delicious. Clearly made in house. I was thrilled to see I could get a spinach salad. Most of the options here are meat-based, and there are limited vegetarian options, but I’m guessing that’s the market around here. I loved my salad. It was very fresh. I would suggest adding a bit more of the toppings to it as it was more spinach than anything else. I would absolutely return!

A friend who lived in Gatlinburg suggested we visit this place while in town for an event. Next time I am in town I will visit again. Drinks were served quickly and our server was fun and talkative. I can’t recall what I had for dinner but I do remember it was good.

Server was super nice! The Mac and cheese is not the homemade deliciousness I was hoping for, but was ok. I had a steak(t-bone, maybe?) which was probably the most tender and delicious piece of meat I’ve had in my life. Also had the fried pickles, which were delicious! Husband had a huge burger, which was full of flavor as well! Sweat tea was perfect, and had a piece of cake since it was my birthday, but they charge way more than they should for one small piece. Although it was seriously good! The price was a little more than I would have liked, but it was really good food! And it’s nice inside!

Stopped in for lunch as soon as we got in town per Unilocal reviews. We had the chicken philly flatbread with mac n cheese and the jimmy burger. We both liked the sandwiches– but the mac. it’s not a baked mac n cheese. It’s the kind made on the stovetop– and while that’s ok. It’s not that good either. It was kinda soupy and the portion was rather stingy. It was decent for lunch. I suppose.

The pizza was awesome! We tried the Blackberry Pig and the Smoky Mountain. We tied on the table’s favorite. We had a party of 8 with kids and received great service late on a Thursday night. Would go back again!

Solid 4 stars here at Three Jimmy’s in Gatlinburg, TN. Disregard any other reviews that are less than 4 stars. Some people just complain about everything. My partner and I went in on Saturday evening around 7pm solid. We were seated fairly quickly even though there were several large groups taking up most of the dining area. The server came and took our drink order as is expected when you eat out at a restaurant with a solid wait staff. I had a water, sparkling. With lemon. For dinner, we split the 20 piece wings. I also had a salad. Both were solid. I would order again. Wait I just remembered something else that happened. A few minutes after we sat down, some lady came by our solid table and offered us a sample of their smoked prime rib. So after we ate our dinner, we paid our check and left. Solid 4 stars.

To start, we are total foodies, and plan our vacations from meal to meal. Having had some great meals in Gatlinburg, we decided this place was worth a try based on all the raving Unilocal reviews. The location is a little difficult to find since its tucked around the corner and behind the Subway. As you read on, you may come to the same conclusion that I did, that the location was intentional and meant to keep tourists away. That said, parking was ample and the exterior was welcoming. Upon entering, the interior was clean and the décor is inviting. I especially enjoyed the large tables that look like local timber planked, but not squared off. The look is rustic and pretty cool. There’s even a pool table in the back of the restaurant. This evening there was live music, playing covers of some country classics as well as some classic rock — music was okay… We went in with a large party. It seemed to take forever for our drink order to be taken. I’m a few weeks shy of my 40th birthday and was carded for a margarita. So was my sister, who is 52. Really? That’s just silly, bordering on ignorant behavior. The famed blue margarita was okay and worth a second. For appetizers we ordered fried pickles, fried shrooms, beer battered onion rings, homemade hummus. The rings and shrooms were pretty good, if not average. The pickles were good and the hummus was best described as odd. The taste and texture were both different than anything we’ve ever had. The soup came out cold and had to be sent back but the chili was okay… Not an incredibly strong start. For our main courses, we ordered a variety of items, from the special wings, that are smoked before they get fried. Grilled Ceasar’s chicken salad, the big pig pulled pork sandwich, and a variety of burgers. I ordered all flats for my 20 wings and got 15 drummets. It’s okay, they weren’t good anyway. The Mac and cheese was goody, but it came out cold. The chicken tenders were very salty. The burgers were good though. Dessert consisted of carrot cake, which was pretty good, the chocolate overload which was okay and the sinful seven which was okay as well. Overall the food was a solid three. The biggest challenge we had was the crowd. This is DEFINITELY A LOCALSPLACE and as tourists, we felt incredibly unwelcome. If you are anything other than a Caucasian-local, stay away. You are not wanted or welcome. We literally had folks staring at us, indiscriminately and without shame. Purposefully letting us know we were not welcome. Sad really. We couldn’t get out of here fast enough. You have been warned — beware!

Three Jimmy’s was only about a ten minute drive from our mountain cabin, and one of the few restaurants in the area that had decent reviews and wasn’t a chain(I didn’t come all the way to Tennessee to eat at the Golden Corral, thanks for offering though). We had driven by it a few times and at night it looks especially inviting at night with a nicely lit patio area. We arrived around 7pm on a Wednesday evening and the place had a decent crowd. There is a large bar area inside, but we asked if we could sit on the patio and there were a few seats still available. This particular night there was live music in the patio area, a man with an acoustic guitar. He played some of his own originals(which were quite good) and mixed in a few better known songs as well. The music made for a nice vibe and was relaxing and not too loud. Our waiter approached at which point he offered us drinks and asked if we would like to put in an appetizer. Originally I ordered a pinot grigio but it turned out they were out, so I went with a riesling instead. The wine offerings here are nothing impressive, but I was happy to take what was offered. We placed an order for a fried pickle appetizer and looked over the menu. I was happy to find a few vegetarian options, and they also make their owns pizzas. Aside from that it is kind of standard American fare with wings and burgers and that sort of thing. Our waiter came back to take our order and we enjoyed our drinks and music. A little bit of time had passed and another waitress(not our waiter) noticed that we had been waiting awhile and said she would follow up on our order. Honestly I had been enjoying my wine and the music so I didn’t take too much notice to it, but at this point our waiter came up apologizing that the fried pickle order hadn’t made it to the kitchen. I really wasn’t bothered but he made sure to bring them over immediately once the error was realized and removed them from the bill. They were busy(especially with takeout orders) and even though something was overlooked I really appreciated them making good on it without us even having to say anything. Our meals arrived, I had ordered the Mediterranean veggie sandwich, which was served on a nice soft pita bread. The veggies were fresh, but my complaint would be that the«creamy pesto» served on it was not very good at all. It tasted to me as if the pesto had been made with oregano instead of basil, it was just kind of strange. As my side I asked for their mac and cheese which was very creamy and had a great smoky gouda flavor. My boyfriend had opted for one of their pizzas which he enjoyed, and I found the outer crust to be good, but quite soggy near the center of the pizza. This would honestly probably be a good taekout item though because once it has a chance to cool and everything settles out I think it would stay together a little bit better. I would definitely head back to Three Jimmy’s if I were staying in the area. I wouldn’t order the veggie sandwich again, but I would love to sit at the bar or out on the patio with some wine and pizza(after it cools). Really, as another reviewer mentioned if this were where I live I would give it three stars, but given the other options in the area it’s more like four here… so really a solid 3.5 in my opinion.

3jim closing in on me. Taken to his den of rug riddles. Post griddle fantasy turning me inside out and not letting go. Cheese bread transport to pickle pound town just before the great collagen let down. Crispy attitudes not wings. Stage is set. Sweet piano keys fill my bowels, leading me to the lavatory where I end my night. IMHO this is a 2 ½ out of 5. Kel

Enjoyed sitting on the deck area. Enjoyed the breeze. Food was excellent. Macaroni and cheese is wow! Nothing boxed there! My steak was good, a bit dry, but that may have been my own fault. Potato salad very good. A bit oniony but not overly so. Chicken wings were very meaty, a meal in itself. Salads were very fresh also.

They have SO many drink specials — as low as $ 3.50& up to $ 5! I ordered a Blue Margarita($ 5) & my husband chose a pint of Yeingling($ 4). Drinks were DABOMB! I am a chicken wing FIEND& seeing they had 10BBQ wings for $ 9, I decided to give them a shot. Undeniably, some of THEBEST freakin’ wings I’ve ever had! Their JUICY chicken wings are smoked with BBQ rubs(you can taste the smoke in the meat; yum!) & when ordered, heated on the grill with any sauce of your choice. I went for the mild which wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy. Sweet Lord Baby Jesus, these wings were the TRUTH! Even if you’re not hungry for a full meal, you need to do yourself a favor & order these BBQ wings to-go. They will change your life! Moving on: as an entrée I ordered their craft Smokehouse BBQ Burger — cooked medium with a side of Mashed Potatoes. WOOOOOOOW! These people are doing their meats, justice! Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while & it was so big(1lb. x $ 10.99) that I brought the other ½ home. The mashed potatoes(y’all are killin’ me) were less than average :-(but let’s not focus on the 1 negative, people. After reading several Unilocal reviews, I also ordered a side of their deeeelicious Gouda Mac & Cheese which was spectacular! My hubby ordered a turkey, ham & bacon club sandwhich which was also appetizing & too big to finish while we we’re there. Out server, Ryan, was great! He was the only server on the floor & although they were somewhat busy, he made sure to constantly check on us & our food to make sure everything was okay. Your Blue Margarita was on point, Ryan! Lots of locals hang out here & they had LIVE Karaōke going on lastnight. If Unilocal allowed video postings, I could share my clip of the cutest little old man singing romantic country songs to «the crowd». Haha. OVERALL: 4.5 star dinner experience! From the service to the food & those life-changing BBQ wings — we will DEFINITELY be coming back & telling everyone we know about this hidden gem in Gatlinburg.
