Econo Lodge Inn & Suites at the Convention Center

Very convenient to downtown shopping etc as long as you have no issues walking. The main drag is about a mi uphill & downhill. This hotel is on a side road but conveniently about mid way. Their breakfast was OK. It consisted of sausage, biscuits, white gravy, cereal, waffles, donuts, & toast. We all would’ve liked eggs. I was hoping for fruit and/​or yogurt. It’s not a diet/​diabetic friendly breakfast. Rooms are clean but old. Beds are horrible. We tried both queens in our room & our friends tried both of theirs, no one liked the beds. In fact, that’s why we cut our vacation short. Day one, we left to go sightseeing & the cleaning people cut off our AC. When we returned to the room hot and tired, we couldn’t rest because it was so hot. Also, following their direction, I hung my towels to be eco-​friendly but they took my towels & replaced them anyway. There was a fridge & microwave in the room. The people were friendly. They even allowed me to leave my car there the last day until 4 PM (you have to pay for parking everywhere in town).

Friendly and helpful service at front desk, so super convenient to everything, and decent rooms. It’s older and you can tell but it’s clean and nice! A+ in my book!

Great little budget hotel located off the main strip in Gatlinburg. First and foremost the staff is excellent making you feel right at home. Basic rooms with no frills, but the excellent value makes this a solid choice for both vacationers and business travelers. The location cannot be beat as it’s located centrally in the tourist district. Will return when making future travel plans to the area. Thank you Econo Lodge.

Perfect location to stay. Nice rooms. Will stay here again if ever in town!. Not a bad breakfast in the morning either.

This Place. — –was GREAT!!!
My wife and I stayed with our small dog (only allows up to 15 pds.) and had a king size bed. The room was remodeled with new mattress (SoOOooooo Comfy) flat screen tv cable. The bathroom was a bit tiny if sharing the sink to brush teeth and fight with your wife straightening her hair or putting on make up ;) Great water pressure in shower! It’s located behind the Space Needle. Next to a pub/​karaōke hole-​in-​the-​wall, it’s REALLY CLOSE TO THE STRIP!!! Biscuits and gravy/​Waffle Maker, sausage links, and cereal are featured on the continental breakfast. I liked it. My wife loved the cereal. :/​coffee, juice, milk. They have it options. Vending machines. Not just your DONUT (continental breakfast joint). A great spot for a couple or group

This hotel, while old and in need of some repairs, was extremely clean. Lack of amenities and quality of towels is reflected in the good room rates in a desirable location. We were only here for a quick overnight stay and it fit the bill. We travel with a small dog so this dog-​friendly, low-​price hotel was our choice. Breakfast was satisfactory, I’m a waffle fan. We would stay here again.

Good hotel, great price and fantastic location, just a block from the main road, so easy walk to Gatlinburg, lady at the front desk was very friendly, room was a good size and clean, bed was very comfortable, only complaint I have was that I could hear the person in the next room snoring, don’t know if the walls are thin or that person just snored really loud! But this hotel is very nice.

Got a suite room with a huge jacuzzi tub has high ceilings… VERY spacious room with a fireplace, queen bed, a king bed and a pull out couch… lots of space. Very cozy.
The location is excellent, tucked in alittle cove close to the convention center.

Walking distance to the main road where all the shops/​attractions are.

Highly recommended to a family or group that wants to stay in town and be close to the main strip… its like a cabin.

My family and I recently stayed here for a family event and we were more than pleased. From start to finish, the front desk staff were incredibly caring and were very accommodating. The room we had was great: clean, bigger than I had imagined and we really enjoyed the fireplace. The hotels location was perfect for us. We appreciated being able to easily walk wherever we wanted without moving our car. Choosing this hotel really helped make our trip a special one. We plan to visit Gatlinburg again in the summer and we will be staying here again =)

For the price it’s a good place to stay. It’s clean and in a great location. It only got 4 stars because lucky for us the trash pick up was Sunday morning @ 6am so we had our wake up not by choice to dumpsters being banged multiple times

The lady at the front desk couldn’t be any sweeter! She helped me (us) get the best rate for the 2 nights we were gonna stay. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We stayed in front of the pool but that was actually very convenient for us! During our stay the staff was very very friendly and would do anything to help!
Last but not least location, location, location!!! They are located on a side street in the middle of downtown Gatlinburg! EVERYTHING was within walking distance! We never touched our cars until we were ready to leave! We will definitely be coming back to this hotel in the near future!

The location is great. It is one block off the strip, and only a half block from the space needle. The staff was friendly, as was everyone in Gatlinburg. However, our room description said «pool-​view with fireplace.“Neither was available for use because of the time of year. I asked the staff about it, but they weren’t helpful. The continental breakfast included cereal, donuts, waffles, juices, and weak coffee. We stayed for two days. Only one of our beds got made and they didn’t replace the shampoo or soap. If you’re looking for a good location, this is it. But, don’t expect much from the accommodations.

Building is old but our room was clean and the staff we interacted with were very kind and very accommodating. They went above and beyond. Very pleased with the service.

Clean and cheap! We stayed here for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary and it was just what we were looking for! It is located right off the strip so we didn’t even have to pay for parking to walk the strip! Our remote to the TV didn’t work the first night, so we called the front desk and a lady came up and had it fixed within 5 minutes! Free continental breakfast, small, but just enough to hold you over until lunch. Very satisfied!
