Corkey’s Barbeque

While in Pigeon Forge we spotted and got a table. Food is good. But my husband can out smoke any chain restaurant. My visit was more about getting a Corkeys meal since I have known they are famous for there BBQ. I had sauced ribs, fried okra and mac n cheese. Glad they had extra sauce at the table or I would have not enjoyed the ribs. But they did and I enjoy there ribs. Not as easy to cut as I expected but not to tough. I ordered a chef salad to take to our room to have later. Nothing special but a nice size since it was added on my ticket for the correct price $ 2.99. Now I can say I have been there. It wasn’t Memphis but it is checked of my places to try. If your in Pigeon Forge try it. Prices are good. Service is good. Food is good. If you are Southern you will no doubt enjoy thier style off BBQ. But you can get better from a relative that has a smoker. I understand it is hard to cook for 100 plus daily. And is why I gave a curve to grade giving a higher rating.

this location is closed, the one in pigeon forge is open but the food is not good at all. Not worth it!
