5 pound burrito? You don’t need to ask me twice! Of course if the burrito sucked 5 pounds wouldn’t be a good thing, but if you’re looking at the rating I gave you’d know that is not the case. If you are reading this do yourself a favor and stop by here. Your future self will thank you.

Located inside Booths Corner Farmers Market by enterance 32 from the back lot or from the front entrance 7. Okay this places food is not like Taco Bells food. Been here a couple of times now as the stand is only open Friday and Saturday while like the market it is closed the rest of the week. The loaded nacho are very good a a meal in itself. Nachos are not like any mass produce ones I have tasted and I su gfs spect not easily found. The tomatoes were fresh as was the salsa. I passed on the jalopenos, thank you. I have also sampled the 2 chicken tacos. Again very fresh to were it appears the vegetables were bought and prepared that day. Now they were small but the freshness picked up the bar. Drinks are special as they offer Mexican sofas that use sugar cane not artificial sweetners.

The food here is very fresh. Everything is homemade and very good. Her nachos grande is my favorite and she makes it look very pretty. We also like the beef burrito(which is huge) and the taco salad. The guacamole is really really good and her homemade chips are great. We buy dinner from Tilly’s several times a month. The owner is nice and I feel the prices are fair for the amount of food you get.

I tried the food after knowing it has been there a while and glad I stopped. She should be running a small restaurant instead of a side stand. The food is very good and just like Mexico. Most Mexican places make an American spin. Loved the Chorizo Taco. Location is old part of Chamberlains and most people don’t know any different. Think a name change would also boost business; so many ideas I shared with the owner. Good food and service.

Hate to do this but… This place is not good. Way over priced!!! You have to pay extra for salsa??? I have never visited a Mexican restaurant that has done that. I paid $ 5 for two tacos, the first was pork and very dry with lack of flavor and the second was chorizo which had no heat at all. i ordered HOT salsa for and extra fifty cents a piece and that had no heat as well. No Onions, no cilantro… which is standard in many of the Taco shops around Wilmington. Many of the taco places around Wilmington will give free chips and salsa… not here. Do you self a favor and skip this joint… sorry…but there are a lot of better options. –Jim

Stopped in Tilly’s Tacos for a quick dinner last weekend… I had a couple of tacos — one beef and one beef picadillo, both of which were very good — and some refried beans which were really tasty. The prices were reasonable and the woman who served us was very sweet. I love Mexican food, so I will definitely be stopping by Tilly’s again soon!

I do think it is about time we start getting this place some reviews outside of the Booth’s Corner realm on Unilocal. How about it? So this place is located in the little side nook across from Chamberlain’s Roast Beef. I wanted the roast beef, my wife wanted the taco stand. Fortunately they had a seating area where we could both get what we wanted. Good thing is that I was also able to sample the food as well. So I can tell you a few things. The nachos here were served as chips with refried beans. Might not be what you’re used to. But, the chips were crispy and homemade, and the beans were the perfect texture. Even if they’re not what you’re usually used to when it comes to nachos, on their own they’re quite tasty. The winner was the chicken quesadilla. Much more chicken than cheese in it, and served with a perfectly fresh salsa. i remember thinking to myself that this is the way a quesadilla is supposed to taste, not like that stuff they pawn on you at the chain restaurants. I didn’t try a taco yet. Next time I will, and I’m certain there will be a next time because the wife is already raving about this place.
