Rudino’s Pizza & Grinders

I have never ever… EVER gotten a bad pizza here! Every pizza I got to go is hot, fresh, and super tasty. Never had to send a pizza back and I have been going to Rudino’s for the past 6 years or more. a great spot to fill up on pizza buffet at lunch time. The bathroom needs updating, and an extra stall. The one in Cary… been to both and the one in Apex did not disappoint. it would be nice to have pizza slices on the buffet like squares, but not important. Love Rudino’s!

They make some of the best pizzas around, their sandwiches are good as well. The restaurant is always clean and the service has been great every time I’ve been there.

I have nothing bad to say about Rudinos or about this location in Garner. I always get a grinder when I eat there. The food is ready when they say it will be ready. They have a buffet and a variety of different options. I gave Rudinos 4 stars because it’s a normal pizza place which is decent but not exceptional.

Love Rudino’s! We often go there on Sundays for the pizza buffet. Try the parmesan cheese sticks, chipotle chicken grinder, and the buffalo chicken pizza! Thr place could probably use an upgrade as it hasn’t changed since I was in high school (more than 10 years ago!) Also, the food takes a little time so if you’re in a hurry get the buffet. Delicious food!

I’ve had better frozen pizza than this! The sauce is terrible. The dough is not edible. Gross.

I ate at Rudino’s recently and I am not sure what it is but I just don’t like their pizza very much. I am convinced it tastes the way it is supposed to just different than what I am familar with but I just can’t put my finger on what it is. The last time I went we got a Philly Sub and that was just not very good at all. The prices are reasonable but I am just not a fan of their food.
Atmosphere 4 — Rudiono’s has a pretty nice atmosphere plenty of big screen TVs to watch sports on and a well laid out dining room.
Service 3 — The service is mainly counter service but I have never gotten bad service. The staff are friendly and courteous.
Cost/​Value 3 — For what we got I thought the prices was quite reasonable.
Food 2 — The food we got was just not to my liking. Their Philly subs were just not very good. Their pizza is not bad. Their is something in their pizza, maybe the sauce or the dough, that has an unfamiliar taste to it. I ordered my pizza with meatballs and I expected to see meatballs on the pizza but instead the meatballs were all sliced flat like a peperoni. I found that kind of odd as well. I will say this though they were not messing about with the extra cheese. In the end even though the pizza had an odd taste to me and meatballs were flat the pizza was gooey and cheesy. There is something to be said for that.

Amazing grinders the Parmesan pepper chicken is just freaking awesome! Everytime I get the pizza its kinda hit or miss its not that great but its ok for the price. If I just came for pizza Id rather just get 7 dollars domino’s pizza.

Not for nothing but if you are going to charge me almost $ 3/​slice, please ensure that it is not a frozen pizza heated up in an oven. Astonishing enough, this place was packed for their «all you can eat pizza buffet».
The people who worked there were very friensly and nice. That’s about the only thing this place has going for it.
Please so not call yourself a pizzeria.

I guess I’m just a weirdo. I haven’t had any of the incredible pizza bar that Rudino’s hosts during lunch.
I only order takeout, and when I do, I choose the grinders. They’re fantastic. A wide array of toppings on great, toasted bread, with plenty of meat and cheese.
There’s simply no reason to even look at anything else when the sandwiches are this good.
Yes, you’ll pay good money for the sandwich, but you’ll probably have leftovers after lunch, and a warm, cozy feeling in your stomach.
Try the Sicilian. It’s worth it.

I love rudino’s! My favorite is their calzones. I always get it with pepperoni and olives. I also love their pizza. It’s a great price to for only $ 3.00. I usually come her for my lunch break from school. I would like to try their baked ziti and lasagna. Overall a really good price for great food

I had a craving for pizza and decided to go to Rudinos. All I wanted was an all cheese pizza and the medium portion was perfect. The sauce is very tasty and the crust was good as well. I wanted something that wasn’t the typical chain pizza and this place was it. It would have been nice if they had a carry out special on Sunday’s but other than that I enjoyed my pizza.

Went to an end of season party for my son’s baseball team at this location. I was thinking it would be more like location I go to on Tryon road in Cary. Not even close. With that being said the wings were ok. Also they only had been in a bottle and not on tap. Granted they were $ 2 a bottle.
I prefer the location on Tryon to this location.

I had a very hard time finding good pizza in the Triangle area. It doesnt matter really because I kept coming back to Rudino’s in Garner. I think they had fantastic pizza. My boss and inventory control mgr joined me here about twice a month for their lunch buffet. I think it was around $ 8 which included a beverage. It was always hot, delicious, and they had a good variety. They also had a frosted cinnamon desert pizza thing a ma bob out with the pizza’s too. It was very tasty. I always overate at this place. It was such a good deaL. The table’s were always clean and the staff seemed reasonably upbeat most days. Gotta love a place with happy employees who enjoy what they do. The owner here was fantastic too. He would always ask me and my boss if we had an special pizza requests for the buffett. I tried a sandwich of their’s once and didnt like it nearly as much as the pizza. If your in the area and want a good bargain for lunch, check this place out. If you order from the dinner menu it gets pricey fast. Better stick with the buffett.

Reunited and it taste so good… after a few years of being apart we finally met once again and it was like i was in high school all over again. i really forgot just how good the pizza at this joint really was… and got a swift re-​education on the subject.
With the assistants of mind-​numbingly fresh flavor from the toppings and the tangy zip of the sauce, the spicy sausage, and salty olives all play a symphony on the taste buds that the cheese elegantly dances in tune with. OK I’m not trying to sell you a pizza or anything it was just that good, they also have an all you can eat buffet so you can pig out with the family on Sundays and your wife can have tha day off.
I’m Glad i came back to the old stomping grounds, after being away for so long you forget the things that made you love these places so much in the first place. The friendly service, plenty of TVs to watch the game or news, the great pizza and the Grinders are good too!
This place is such a G-​Town Staple it’s not even funny and definitely a spot everyone should give a try.

Let me start off by saying that the staff here is really nice and the pizza is pretty darn good. I usually hit this place up once every few months at lunch for the pizza buffet. The buffet bar is a bit small, but the selection is good. They even have a few oddities like pizza with goat cheese sprinkled on it (at least that is what i think it is) but whatever it is. it is delicious!
With that being said though, there is one flaw. The sign says they open at 11:00. i usually get there by 11:30 and have to eat quickly so i can go back to work, but the buffet bar is always empty! You got to wait for them to bring it out. So its either best to come late or take an extended lunchbreak. Other than that. i highly recommend it. Its a small restaurant but good!
