Came in on a Friday from a suggestion from a friend to pick up a couple of flowers to make our own corsages/boutonnière’s for prom. Sandy was very sweet and accommodating. The only downside was that the flowers that she picked out for us from her fridge were not fresh. :(The white roses had a little bit of brown amongst the petals.

I called Sandy one day before Valentine’s Day panicking because I needed a floral spray arrangement for a funeral two days later. As it was Valentine’s Day weekend, every florist was booked solid. However, Sandy was sweet and accommodating when I asked her for an all white arrangement(not available on her website) and a banner. The arrangement got to the funeral home in a timely manner and the flowers were fresh and glowing(see attached picture). I would recommend Sandy’s for anyone who likes personable service at an AMAZING price. Don’t be afraid to call her if there is a certain color scheme you have to stick to and you don’t see it on the website. Chances are she can make it happen. I will definitely be ordering flowers from her again, plus she’s local!

I called and ordered a corsage and boutineer from here the day before I needed it. I gave Sandy very little detail about what I wanted, she offered some direction for what I probably wanted and I have to admit that I expected her to read my mind. I must say she did a pretty good job of it but fell a little short… Upon telling her I wanted more red in the corsage design she immediately went to the back and made it perfect without any fuss and was very timely about the process. OH and I did look around while inside and every cooler was packed with beautiful flowers… I would use Sandy’s again. Update: We have used this florist on 2 occasion’s now for dances and were very pleased both times!

I walked into Sandy’s yesterday to buy some tulips and roses for my girlfriend, who was feeling a bit under the weather, and walked out incredibly disappointed. The store hardly had any flowers! In fact, the big cooler they use for storing pre-made bouquets and the like contained only one sad-looking mix of red somethings-or-others. Scattered around the shop were some other bouquets for sale, but none looked particularly interesting, and I was specifically searching for, at the very least, tulips. Disregarding the obvious lack of merchandise, I asked the lady behind the counter if I could have a bouquet made with some tulips and roses. She said they didn’t have any tulips and that they wouldn’t be receiving any more until next week(but, I was welcome to come back then). I said no thanks because I either needed the flowers yesterday or not at all, and she directed me to Tom Thumb down the street. I went to Tom Thumb, they had plenty of flowers, and all was well. With two stars, I’m giving this florist the benefit of the doubt. I was there right after the holidays, after all, and perhaps they typically have a much better stock. The next time I need flowers, I’ll check out Sandy’s again and post another review, but for now, I think the idea of a florist being out of flowers is pretty ridiculous.
