New China

This is our favorite Chinese take-​out place. We always order Beef Lo Mein and Orange Chicken. They are both great, but the Orange Chicken is the best — it has great sweet and spicy flavor to it. The only hiccup (hence 4 stars) is that their fried rice isn’t great. It’s dry and there aren’t any vegetables or anything in it (this is the fried rice that comes with the entrees) but I just eat a little with my orange chicken and it doesn’t bother me. They are fairly quick with their delivery and the food is always hot and fresh.

3.75 stars from me with some goods and some bads… I’m sure other Americanized Chinese food lover will dissagree.
(no sugar with sun-​flower tea… bad! they didn’t have on any of their tables… booo!)
we ordered the cold appetizers… pork, drunken chicken, smoked fish with jellyfish on top… all were good except the jellyfish it was tasteless and no jellyfish taste at all.
soup: winter melon seafood soup now this soup was good… refreshing and tastey to wash down the appetizer and clear your pores for the entrees
entrees: cod (aka SNOW FISH in Chinese) was good but topping crusts was a bit too salty… and the pork feet wasn’t as much flavoring as it looked… the other dishes were just blend they were presented nicely but wasn’t anything WOWing… tofu with snow pea was ok… their veggie chicken with greens on bottom was good!
the AWESOME thing we had was the pineapple beef … it was very tender tastey and super inventive on how it’s presented… it comes in a cut open halved pineapple cone with fresh pineapple meat and beef stew meat/​tendon/​chunks inside while it’s flames on the outside burning the exterior and keeping the inside hot! this dish is a must try!!! if you like Chinese style beef stew.
also…ba bao fan (8 treasure rice) this was super delicious the rice was chewy (in a good way) and flavor was done just right! sweet but not overwhelming! and the tiny hot eggcustard buns were good with it! yummy!!!
I’d definitely visit again for the appetizers, entrée and this dessert but not so much on their other dishes.
