I stopped in this little place on the way to the Department of Motor Vehicles I was greeted with a huge smile from an Vietnamese woman, her husband came out and said hello as well. I liked them immediately. We engaged in chit chat and I picked a apple fritter. The husband went and brought out their little girl. She was«cute as a button» The father guided her to make a formal salutation to an adult. The child overcame her shyness and did a great job. I responded and then asked her if she liked to read. She told me that she like the«Princess book» and ran away. The Apple fritter was fresh sweet and not to greasy. I enjoyed it with Black coffee which was good. I will stop here when ever I pass by. Life is short and its moments like these that remind me of what a «Gift» it truly is.

The jalapeño and cheese piggies were pretty darn delicious. I also got a choco covered donut and it was ok. It was a little greasy and the glaze left a film on my hand. Overall I would come back because it is reasonably priced as most donut shops are and the piggies were perfect.

Everytime I visit Dallas, I always come to this shop! They have the best glaze donuts. especially good and fresh if you’re able to get up at 5am to get them right out of the fryer! If you’re not an early bird, the donuts taste great later in the day as well. The kolaches are the best I’ve ever tasted with several varieties. They have awesome signs too! I would recommend this place for inexpensive treats if you’re ever in the area.
