Really nice people! I have bought frames and film from them and they always are really helpful and friendly. Prices are good and they are very knowledgeable. They sell cameras, lens, and film. They also fix cameras in house as well. Great place to check out!

DONOTGOHERE!!! I just left there and I am raging mad!!! Kent was a complete condescending jerk and embarrassed me in front of a room full of customers, right before he called me a B*TCH! I have NEVER been treated this way! Wanted to try and support a local«family» business, but I REGRET ever stepping foot in this store!!! Do not make the mistake of wasting your time here. I wouldn’t spend one penny on this joke of a business!

I took an older camera(two generations ago) in to inquire about repairing it. Without question, the salesperson asked the technician what his thoughts were — if it could be repaird and at what cost. The initial opinion was given to me at no cost and came across as sincere and honest. I assumed that the cost of repairs would outweigh the value of the camera and that fact was confirmed. I didn’t feel as if I was trying to be sold a new camera — they actually never mentioned that. I asked about newer comparable models and was given several options. I never felt pressured or intimitaed. I wasn’t talked down to as if I didn’t know my way around a camera, but yet not left in the dark to figure things out on my own. I was so pleased with their service that I left with a new body, lense, and filter. I normally compare prices online, but service has lots of value in my book. I will certainly return here, and would recommend anybody else to this establishment.

I can’t say much about their repair, so this is just based on their equipment. Their cameras and equipment are just too expensive, especially for the area they are in. I know they are a small business, but I just can’t see myself paying 100 – 300 dollars more for a camera when I can drive twenty more minutes and get it for a much better price. They won’t even price match other local places or trustworthy websites. I recently asked if they had a specific battery in stock, which they did, but it was close to 90 $. Upon further research, I found ritz/wolf camera had the same exact canon battery for $ 50, along with a cheaper battery at $ 30. I really like supporting small businesses, but that’s a big difference in price! I really wish they would rent cameras and lenses. I would be all over that as I live very close. Overall, glad it’s nearby if I really need something spur of the moment, but the prices are just too high for me. Especially for the location.

Customer service blows here. Phone conversation about fixing our studio’s Canons and he was very rude and when I asked for the video camera repairman’s name, he said he was Iranian and couldn’t pronounce his last name but sounded like shit. Called around and other camera shops had input that Canon parts are difficult to get and I’d have better luck sending into manufacturer, if I wanted it to work again. Conversation was so unsavory, I was spurred to leave this bad review. Maybe the workmanship is good, maybe not, but my money ain’t going to no smart mouth MR. kent.

This shop exceeded my expectations for both quality workmanship and value in getting an expensive lens fixed. I dropped Canon L lens and took it here per recommendations — of ANOTHER camera shop! The technician came out and explained in detail his expert opinion on condition, estimated cost and made me feel good about the expected outcome as I was concerned about the quality after a repair. In addition, I had a wedding to shoot that coming weekend and they expedited the fix at not cost., — three days. I’m very pleased with this shop and they’ve been around for 50 years — that’s right, 50 years!

Normally, it’s «Fast, Good, Cheap. Pick Two». Here it’s «Fast, Good, Well worth the Price. Pick Three.» I took my grandson’s camera in for repair and was treated like a true customer. I was told the price, and the timeframe for the repair. I was assured that the technicians were knowledgable and efficient. The repairs were done far faster than I expected, the camera works like new, and the price was truly reasonable. When I picked up the camera, the repairs and the warranty were explained and my questions were answered without hesitation. My grandson is a budding photographer and we’ve been told he has a «gifted eye». He’ll need more equipment in the future and I now know we’ll go to Garland Camera to get it.

The staff is nice and they are very knowledgable in the Camera department. I have been going here for over 10 years. They place can be expensive depending on what you are needing. I got my Canon DSLR cleaned here and they did an amazing job. It was ready the next day for me to pick up. They have a great used section. I got a hood for my lens for $ 2 compared to a new one that was $ 20 You can get cheaper lenses at Competative Camera. I would call before hand to see which place has it cheapest. Definatley quicker to buy the lens in store versus online.

Stopped by here real quick to get some black & white film so I could take some shots of the State Fair and practice with my film camera. Although it was a little bit expensive, I got exactly what I needed. The people were great, too. I’ll definitely be coming back when I need new lenses for my DSLR.

I bought a Nikon D5100 with the kit lens for the same price I could have paid on Amazon. My first camera had a hot pixel, so they exchanged it without any hassle. I’ve been going to this shop since I was a kid, and they have always been nice and knowledgable. They also offer free photography classes with your purchase.
