My son doesn’t like seafood, so the three non seafood options on the menu were horrible. The chicken nuggets were over cooked, the wings were way too spicy and over powered the chicken. I had the shrimp cocktail which didn’t taste too bad but the last couple of bites were frozen shrimp still stick together, not a good sign. My Mom had a Caldo de Pescado (fish soup) which she said was flavorless. All she could taste was celery and the veggies were very obviously over cooked. The place also looked very dirty and dingy. Would not recommend!

We ended up dining at Mariscos Golfo tonight because Nena’s a few doors down was closed :(This place is ok for some fried catfish filets and they make good french fries. However, the fried shrimp left a lot to be desired. My impression is the shrimp are small and are pounded out flat before fried (never seen that before). The buffalo wings were over-​cooked and didn’t have much meat on the bone, but they did have a good flavor. Nothing here to rave about, but staff were friendly and food was fair. The menu is mostly, if not all, fried food — so not too many other options.

This place has the best shrimp cocktail and ceviche. I took my boyfriend and he loved it. My entire family loves this place. It’s not fancy but the food is awesome.
