Denny’s

I called to place an order and that lady that answer the phone was so sweet and nice defiantly my favorite Denny’s in the mesquite area!!!

Four stars? I’m not sure how. We waited 45 mins to be seated after we were told it would only be 15 – 20. A group of 4 walked in 30 mins after we arrived and were seated immediately, just happened to be friends of the hostess. Got up to leave 20 mins after being seated because NOBODY came to get our drink order or even check on us.
The place was filthy, the waitress was EXTREMELY rude and nobody tried to coerce us into staying or even apologized for the wait. Never going to go to Denny’s ever again.

I took my daughter here for breakfast this morning before going Christmas shopping. First, no one came to take our drink orders. Finally, a woman who acted like she didn’t want to come to our table, took our drink order. I foresaw what was to come and told her we were ready to order, fearing it would take a while to get her back over. One hour later, we have our food. Cold. In that time she didn’t check on us, didn’t refill or drinks… Nothing. I’m STILL waiting on the bill.

Gluten free English muffin (with no upcharge!). Cinnamon Pancake Breakfast. After ignoring Denny’s in general and this location in particular for a decade or two, these two items have put Denny’s back in the rotation. Pancakes usually don’t appeal to me very much. They seem like a big waste of calories. The new cinnamon version is way better than what you expect from Denny’s. And when we went there a couple of weeks ago the restaurant was fresh and clean and the service was sharp.

We’ve been waiting forever just to get our order, the one who’s taking the order keep on chatting on the other table we just observing her. Do your job first before you chi-​chat and all. Only one person getting the order.

We actually had breakfast here two days in a row because we were staying nearby. Food at Denny’s is usually pretty consistent and the food was very good… but, I’m posting this review of the restaurant itself, which was very clean inside and out and everyone from the hostess stand to the servers were excellent! Our server this morning saw us waiting to be seated and came and took us to a table immediately. Her name was Cynthia and she was great! Maybe not as important, but I noticed how pretty even the landscaping was and all the beautiful flowers planted out front. Would stop in again if ever in the area. Must have great management!

It’s Denny’s. You usually know what you’re getting, for better or worse. This location gives you the worse.
The only reason I’m writing this review is because I can’t let a 4-​star rating stand. 4-​stars? For Denny’s? Nope. Can’t do it.
The best thing about this Denny’s is that they no longer allow you to smoke inside. That’s it. If you really, truly, absolutely must have late-​night pancakes, go to Kroger and buy some frozen ones. Seriously.

It’s Denny’s… with that being said from my experience the food and service was good. We went here a couple of nights ago as a family dinner. Our waitress was great and I mean great. She took care of us without being to overbearing. The food waa decent… My daughter got the kids spaghetti meal with apples. I will be honest she did not like it. The sauce had no seasoning and the spaghetti noodles seem to be a little over cooked. My girlfriend had the nachos, she enjoyed them. I had a sampler plate… it was decent. Like I said before it’s Denny’s. You don’t come here expecting a five star meal. The food was good for what we paid for. I did enjoy there oreo sundae… I would gladly go pay four dollars again for another one. Three people eating for thirty dollars isn’t bad, definitely when you add dessert to that. You get what you pay for.

I went to Denny’s because I’ve been craving an omelet for days. I had a veggie omelet, sausage and toast. Everything was fine. I like it when I go to a restaurant and all of my expectations are met.

This is your typical Denny’s. Decent food at a decent price. Nothing too fancy. Denny’s knows what it is and is comfortable with it. It also holds a nostalgic place in my heart as we ate at many a Denny’s during cross country trips when I was a kid.
This particular location has done very well with the wait staff. They earn an extra star ofr the place. They are always friendly and keep the coffee cup full. I take each of my kids here for breakfast on their birthdays and they have always made a big deal of it. Even the few other patrons that are there at 6 A.M. come over to wish them Happy Birthday.
The establishment is clean (of course we are always there before the rush) seems well maintained. The bathrooms have always been nice and tidy on our visits.
If you ever fnd yourself out this way stop in, and maybe bring your kids, to revisit a little of your own lost childhood.

The Denny’s at Broadway and I-​30 in Garland is a great location. We eat there regularly and the service and food are always quite good.

My waitress was amazing, so friendly and upbeat! I absolutely love the new build your own burger menu.

I took my daughter here for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it! You get a free build your own Grand Slam, which really knocks it out of the park for her. She was wanting pancakes and eggs, so she got her wish.
The restaurant was clean. The personnel were nice, and very patient!
The server had us choose our seat, and of course she chose a booth looking out on I-​30! That’s okay, the company was good.
The food was warm and appetizing. It tasted just as good.
I cannot wait to come back Wednesday for my free Grand Slam! :)
