I came and tried this place quite a while ago. Never wrote a review until now bc I couldn’t believe how ridiculous this place was. As usual, I ordered a bowl of phở to see what this place was about. I should if left as soon as they brought out the vegetables. Far from fresh. Ready to be thrown out. I stayed anyway… Only to find a cockroach in my soup. At least I hadn’t indulged in it yet. I told the waitress about my extra guest and she gave me a look that made me want to… She did ask if I wanted another one. I looked at her, got up, and left. Short version: stay away.

me and my bf went to this place last weekend. It calls Com Tam Thuan Kieu so we decided to try the rice plate, my bf is getting bun bo hue since the owner advertised it so great. my rice plate was just horrible, the pork is still partially raw. bun bo hue is just tasteless. save ur money for some mcdonalds guys.

The owner here is the same for Hu Tieu My Tho in Carrollton, which is a very good place to eat when she took it over. However, when she open this place up, everything taste like crap. I just don’t understand it. At the HTMT in Carrollton, I always get the bun bo hue and it was awesome. But here it’s just blah… With a name like this, their rice dishes should be good but boy do they mess that up too. I tried the hu tieu today and it was watered down too. I don’t think i’ll be going to this place again any time soon.

I thought Com Tam Thuan Kieu is known for their rice platers, unfortunately their rice platers doesn’t do it for me, ordered the com tam bi suon cha, their suon(pork) was so dry and rubbery! And also slow service questions my intention to come back here.

This place is not like the other Thuan Kieu places in California or Houston. I went here because my friend’s mom said the bun bo hue was better than Phở Tay Do. It was not even close to Phở Tay Do b/c they didn’t put enough meat and the broth was not really flavorful. Although, I have to say that it is better than other phở places that have bun bo hue but can’t beat Phở Tay Do. My friend ordered one of their rice plates and she thought it was ok.
