Great place to go if you like poor customer service and rude people.

Horrible customer service, owned and operated by grumpy old men who are out of touch with today’s generation. Way overpriced, go to GT Distributors instead.

I called looking for a rifle barrel for my boyfriend for his birthday. I asked the man I’d they had it in Stock, he said no but they could order it. I asked if I could get a price and he said he would have to get on the computer to look that up and apparently that was to much hassle for him. No problem. I will take my business elsewhere to someone who doesn’t mind looking a price up for me.

Good store, friendly staff, and the gunsmith does good work. I had my 243 repaired, it hadn’t been shot in a while, the bolt had issues setting in the breach. Also had my HK45 trigger upgraded.(both were turned around quickly, less than a week).

If I could put more stars I would. I almost didn’t visit B&S because of the bad reviews on Unilocal, but they had the gun I wanted, so I stopped in. This review would not be happening if it was not for Jeremy at B&S. He is the man! His customer service went above and beyond what I expected… and he smiled the whole time. Solid guy! It started out that I had my eye on the Franchi Instinct L 12ga now for about 3.5yrs. Well, I was able to sock away a little cash and finally go after my dream o/u. So I started looking around the area to see who had them… only 4 stores had one in stock. So B&S was the first store I called and that’s when I met Jeremy. I told him my situation of how long that I wanted this gun and that I was going to go check the other stores to find the one with the best looking wood grain. He said no problem, Ill have it here for you to look at. Walked into B&S and met Jeremy face to face. He showed me the gun and I just started to drool… but like I told him I was going to go checkout the other guns. He said no problem at all, and that he would do the same thing on a purchase like that. I was blown away by the«no pressure sale.» He did explain to me that the gun had a 7 yr manufacture’s warranty, but on top of that, B&S gives a life time warranty on all new guns bought in their store. I said I still want to check out the other guns, and he said, «I see you when you get back.» So out the door I went. I checked out the other guns, but the one at B&S was the best looking one, plus that life time warranty was a no brainer. So I called Jeremy and told him that I was on my way back to pick it up. I also told him that I noticed the red barrel sight on it was crooked… he said no problem, Ill have it ready to go when you get here. Got back to the store and was so stoked about finally having my dream o/u. Sure enough, like he said, they fixed the bead on the end. Another cool thing about the customer service is that Jeremy sat a chewed the fat with me for a good 1.5hr…talking about everything under the sun. I love friendly customer service. Now this is where the true customer service shines. That night when I got home, once my excitement calmed down, I noticed that my gun was not exactly like the one in the catalog that I had been staring at for so long… something was off. It finally hit me… the jeweling around the auto ejectors was not jeweled at all like in the catalog… which made my new gun look a little cheaper. I know this isnt a $ 20k shotgun, but $ 1k is alot for me… and if I’m going to drop that type of cash, I want it to be right. So I politely called Jeremy the next morning and he happily said bring it in. When I got to B&S, Jeremy pulled the catalog… and sure enough I was right. He called Benelli and spoke with their district rep and explain the situation. Benelli told Jeremy to tell me to go enjoy my gun and that they would take care of it. I felt sketchy about taking my brand new gun and shooting it when it wasn’t right to begin with. So I asked for what he told me to be put in writing. Jeremy did just that, he wrote out an explanation and put his signature on it. He told me he would call me in 48 hrs with a solution. The next day at lunch, I get a call from Jeremy and he finds out from Benelli that they don’t make it like that anymore… they just didn’t bother to change the catalog. Jeremy told Benelli that they either need to send the correct jeweled pieces or that Benelli could pay B&S’s gunsmith to jewel the parts. Benelli said all they would do is refund my money on the gun. Jeremy was pissed. He told me, «I’m not going to refund your gun, I’m going to make it right… this is your dream gun.» He took my gun and put it at the front of the 3week waiting line for their gun smith. I had the gun back in 48hrs. Cody, the gun smith is a freaking artist!!! Its prettier than the catalog. B&S paid for it out of their own pockets without Benelli paying a dime!!! Now that’s customer service!!! See the photo of their work! So I have a had the gun for a month now and have put about 550 rounds through it. Then the auto ejectors stopped working(so I thought). Called Jeremy, he said bring it in. He checked it and determined it was cheap ammo that I was using and the brass swelled and wouldn’t eject. That wasn’t good enough for Jeremy though… he wanted his gun smith to look at it and test fire it, which they did… Sure enough it was the cheap ammo. I will never use another gun store again. B&S is the only place I will go!!! Jeremy, if you read this… thank you brother!!! We need to go shoot sometime!

jerry bought 2 guns from me on 12⁄21(sat, we are closed), 12⁄26 he emails asking for shipment. Still had not received his FFL info for shipment.(we are closed 12⁄26). 12⁄27 i respond telling him his order will ship as soon as i get FFL info. Mind you he is a dealer and knows the drill on transfers. He gets all irate and demands a refund. I say no and say send me your FFL info and your stuff will ship same day. Still refuses. 12⁄30 ask again for FFL info and he again refuses to provide any information and demands refund. You would think as a gun store operator he would know protocol on what info dealers need to ship items. Waste of time customer.

Talk about price gouges!!! I know with the current gun climate this can be argued with supply and demand but a $ 600 rile for $ 2000 you make the decision. Besides that when I purchased a Taurus pistol to have in my truck to bang around and bring it back to the same salesman to have night sights put on it and get«where did you buy this thing?» And a look of disgust on his face, it kinda says it all. When I told him I bought it from him I got«Oh». Just a unprofessional bunch.

Stay away if you want customer service and fair pricing. Like a lot of small gun shops they have the so called experts which also mean a lot of attitude. They believe there gods gift to the gun world and everyone else sucks. The attitude here is horrible. Your wrong, their right. Interested in gun, got a price on the model I was interested in, VERYHIGH, actually the highest I found anywhere even though there we site states «* We have the BEST prices on Handguns; Glocks, Sig Arms, Berettas, Kel-Tecs, and MORE!» Not only where they higher than everyone else there are higher than MSRP. When I ask about meeting the price of another local gun reseller I got tons of attitudes, told they suck, go ahead and buy from those people, I am an idiot basically, and how they are so much better. I was shocked that they would talk to a perspective customer that way, even if I got the gun elsewhere I might have been a possible future customer for other things but I guess they don’t care. If you don’t buy from there you are an idiot and not worthy of their time I guess. After my experience I search the net and found many reviews just like mine or worse by people who have done business with them or people who have regretted doing business and won’t go back. Research yourself. Buyer beware. There are a few positive reviews and a few that have rebuttals but would suspect the positive reviews where by lucky people who got them on a good day or rebuttals done by the owner/employees to make them not look so bad, common practice by business who get bad reviews.
