I WOULDN’T recommend these guys at all as I had TERRIBLE experience with them. I had my pool motor replaced last week through them. My wife scheduled the appointment and had them come replace my old leaky motor since I was at work and real busy. Didn’t get much time to look around. They did the job and ACCEPTED the payment(check) but gave us no invoice. It was strange to me since it’s the first time I had some one do the job but not giving proof of payment right away. They never mentioned about their invoice policy either through phone while we scheduled the appointment. My wife was told she will get it through email later. The following day I had to call them back from work and inquire about it since we still didn’t receive the invoice. The owner said he will contact the tech and verify the payment and send me the invoice. Once I received the invoice, all it had was one FLATFEE for $ 525 plus tax. They installed a brand new motor but no details about the motor price or their labor charge. I wanted to know what type of motor they installed(cheap quality or not) since I paid for it and the owner REFUSED to disclose that information. He said he is NOTOBLIGATEDTODISCLOSETHATINFO. I was like wtf. I told him If I go to a store and purchase stuff, I get details of all items I paid for and not a SINGLETOTALAMOUNT. Since I paid for the supposed to be NEW motor, I need to know how much the price was. He said he don’t want to provide that info so that I can go shop around the price. When I insisted I need to know the price since I paid for it, his response was, Ok in that case THEPRICEIS $ 525FORTHEMOTORAND $ 0FORTHELABOR. Huh… Seriously dude? This is how you provide professional service? First of all, you are not transparent to your clients about your invoice policy. You take money and give them no proof of payment at the work site. Later you are UNWILLINGTODISCLOSEYOURFEES. If you are legit, you wouldn’t have so much to hide. I understand you do this for a living to make profit. So the price will be marked up to run the business. But telling the customer THEYDON’T NEEDTOKNOWTHEDETAILSOFWHATTHEYPAIDFORISTOTALBS. I talked to my friend who has an attorney friend regarding the invoice policy and this was the response. «It’s not normal. Minimally the workers should have a work order if not a full invoice, and a copy of the work order could be delivered to you marked „paid in full“ or similar.» THISDIDN’T HAPPENWHEN I MADETHEPAYMENT.
