The HOLEINTHEWALLJOINT. This hidden mom and pop shop cooks up dishes that will invigorate your taste buds. I came on a Friday morning at 8:40am(20 minutes before opening). By the time the restaurant opened, a line was formed as everyone wanted to have breakfast here. The establishment creates a home feeling that is very cozy and warming. The service was excellent as well as we had Rudy as our server. He continued to check on my table throughout my dining experience. Off to the food. The Loaded Hash Browns w/upgrade to a blueberry pancake. 10⁄10. This dish is absolutely amazing. The hash browns come with bacon, sausage, cheese, 2 eggs, and their special sauce. The 2 eggs I order over medium/easy just because I love a runny yolk that stands to enhance the flavor of the dish. The blueberry pancake is the best one I’ve tried there and I highly recommend it. Parking is limited but there is plenty of street parking to accommodate guests.

I am a sucker for all day breakfast. I really like the pan. The employees are really friendly and helpful! but I’ll start off with the cons. 1. They are located near a lumber mill so you’ll be able to smell lumber and wood particles. kind of off putting so I’d recommend sitting inside. 2. I personally found that the potato dishes were kind of average tasting. But average is still OK! and that’s about it with the cons. What I really like about the Pan is the fast and friendly service and their breakfast food. The french toast and pancakes are a real delight and I would highly recommend them.

The food was awesome, as were the prices. The service was just ok, nothing to write home about or complain about. We got there about 10 minutes before they opened and there was already a line. Not a few ppl, but an actual line. We still got seated as soon as they opened, so we didn’t have to wait. This is definitely a must try breakfast spot if you are near the area and have the time.

Wow, over 1300 reviews and 4 stars… I had to try! Seating: We came here around noon on a Sunday and it was about a 20 mins wait. They seated us at the«new section», an outdoor extension with a canopy. Tip: Bring a jacket! I wouldn’t suggest sitting there because it’s quite dangerous. Let me explain. There are no «real» barriers or poles separating the canopy from cars pulling in and out. While we were there, four different cars parked in front. They were inches from our table and if they pulled any closer, his bootie would’ve been tapped! I wanted to stand up and tell the driver, STOP, you’re too close! I’m not sure if it’s a parking spot but if any of their brakes went out, we would’ve been DEAD! It was kind of nerve wrecking. Food: *Original loaded hash browns($ 9.25) — this was pretty good! It came with 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, green onions, jack and cheddar cheese over hash browns and topped with chili aioli. The hash browns were crispy. *Pan’s signature scramble($ 8) — Eh… I wished they gave more sausages and eggs because all I tasted were bell peppers, potatoes and onions. *Cinnamon roll pancakes($ 1 upgrade) — OMG, a must order! They were filled with cinnamon sugar purée and pecans… SOGOOD! *Blueberry pancakes($ 1 upgrade) — Okay… If you want fresh blueberries, skip this! It’s filled with blueberry purée. The lemon vanilla butter was really good though. *Passion lemonade– refreshing and tasty. Unlimited refills. Service: Our server was very nice and friendly but she only came to check up on us a couple of times. She was quite forgetful too. We asked her 4 times for ketchup. Finally, we decided to ask someone else. Good thing they placed a bottle of water on the table otherwise you will be waiting FOREVER for a refill. The glasses are so TINY! Cute though. Parking: small lot or street parking ***CHECKYOURBILL! When the initial bill came, it was around $ 24. We gave them our CC and when it came time to sign, the amount was different($ 34). I thought it was odd when another server came by and asked if we were waiting for our take out sandwich. We notified the server of the error. Then another 15 mins go by and still no bill so decided to walk over to see what’s going on. They told us they were working on it… Um Okay! Another 10 mins go by and finally, the server brings back copies of the receipts to show that the other charges were voided. Check this out, the voided receipt now shows $ 40! Wait, What? Someone didn’t have their coffee that morning!

My sister and I visited The Pan for breakfast last Thursday, and let’s just say, I’m STILL full! We were both hungry so, as usual we checked Unilocal and decided on The Pan. Needless to say, we’ll be back. Laura, our server was wonderful! We told her we were first-timers and she was both helpful and patient while we were deciding what to order. We both ended up ordering the loaded hasbrowns and they were DELICIOUS! It was love at first bite! I didn’t even do my usual hot sauce and ketchup thing because the chili aioli sauce was the perfect compliment.(Note to self, next time get one order and split it!) Then it was on to the cinnamon pancake, another winner. It tasted like a warm pecan cinnamon roll with the icing, YUMMMMM! Sis had a Belgium waffle that she said was light, fluffy and delicious. I don’t know what other people are complaining about. So, okay you do have to wait a bit, that’s because the place is rather small, but quaint, and there are a lot of people that eat there. Duh! Our wait was about 20 min. Once we finally ordered, our food was on the table piping hot in about 15 – 20 min and it was busy! So, in conclusion, the food was great, Laura was fabulous and if you’re starving and in a hurry I don’t know what to tell you, other than be patient, perfection takes time.

Great pineapple pancakes! Biscuits and gravy were good. Service was great. Country potatoes were a bit bland. Will definitely come here again.

Hey foodies, all the others say get here early and they are right. Arrived 8:30a and they were packed. So heeding the warnings is well advised if you don’t want to wait. Ok so I got in around 8:45, 15min just as they said the wait would be. The menu offers a great selection of breakfast items that rival many of the breakfast staple places but with one twist, ITSALLHOMEMADE! Ok for those that did not hear me ITSALLHOMEMADE! No one can hold a candle to that. The lunch items and other treats you can get are just as solid as breakfast. I got the lumberjack breakfast — Two eggs, two bacon, two sausage, home fries and two pancakes. Best be hungry because this place will fill you up. The whole meal was prepared to perfection, the pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs cooked to sunny side perfection. Others around me had awesome looking meals and once breakfast comes around again I know what I am having. Oh snap I am forgetting THEYSERVEBREAKFASTALLDAY! The staff members are rock stars and the service is friendly and attentive. Ray was great! So to wrap this up — follow theses simple instructions: 1) Get here early as when I left the parking lot(small as it is) was full of waiting hungry guests. 2) Be hungry 3) ENJOYYOURSELF I will be back, I promise!

First time here: Breakfast for dinner: Kielbasa scramble(best ever) Stuffed french toast(sooogoood) Chili cheese fries w chili aoli(never had chili aoli before, super good) We were greeted by Rudy. We like Rudy. For a first-timer, there’s so many choices. We managed to choose the above and well worth the wait. Definite comeback spot.

You can order breakfast all day. And I think those are their best dishes. Loaded hash browns 5⁄5 Cinnamon Bun Pancake 5⁄5(added to hash browns for only 1 dollar more) All Meat Pizza(thin crust) 1⁄5 Sticky Fingers Buffalo Wings(Tangy Garlic) 1⁄5 Best hash browns I’ve ever had. Really great pancake. Meat Pizza(Meat was really tasty but the rest of the pizza(mostly the crust) didn’t taste special. I’m sure their ingredients are top notch but the taste was just off.) We got thin crust. so maybe we’ll try thick crust next time. Buffalo Wings did not have enough sauce and the skin was very chewy. Kind of unappetizing. Despite(maybe it was just my pref) the pizza/wings, I would say the Pan might be one of the restaurants in the south bay that can compete with LA restaurants. I always say that the south bay is a notch down. But the Pan is a place I have recommended to many. their service is top notch is 5⁄5. Based on the quality of their other dishes, I’d come back to try again. And their prices are amazing.

I’M GONNACRYOUTOFJOYBECAUSEBEINGSOSTUFFEDWITHYUMMYGOODNESSISFRIGGINAWESOME!!! Be patient and come hungry. Street parking since its limited to only 6 cars. It will take ATLEAST a 45 minute wait to be seated and then ANOTHER30 minutes to be served BUTIT’S A PLATEFROMHEAVEN. Ordered the recommended original loaded hash browns and it was exactly how the reviews described it. Comfort breakfast foods of crispy hash browns topped with bacon, cheese, eggs, and the to-die-for garlic aioli sauce. There’s no way to go wrong with this gluttonous dish. It comes with sausage and toast too. Servers were delightful. Ambience was super tight and cozy. Price is $ 10 per pp without tax and tip and drink. It’s a super nice treat if you don’t feel like making it yourself. Will definitely be back after a year of digestion.

There is a reason there is always a wait at The Pan– yup, it’s the yummy breakfast! I would probably recommend going with a party of four or less, as the space inside is a little tight and doesn’t really accommodate large parties. Every time I’m here there’s at least a 45-minute wait. The hostess can be rude and will encourage you to go to their other location down the street, but the wait staff inside is very hospitable. Loaded Hash browns– This dish is a definite must and a favorite of mine. It comes with hash browns of course, eggs, sausage, bacon, green onions, cheese and a special sauce. I’ve had other items off the menu like the chicken tacos and other breakfast items – all of which were good. They have a tiny parking lot, so you’re better off finding a spot on the street.

Great food if you have a lot of time. 32 minutes standing in the crowded restaurant waiting for my to go order. Yes they were busy. First she said, just waiting on the pizza. Then when it was ready was told waiting on pulled pork. Then gave me everything and said to hang on while she got the chili. Really?

This was my second time at The Pan! The cinnamon roll pancake was recommended by the waiter(who was awesome, btw) and it did not disappoint! It was served with a side of cream cheese frosting and omg it was pretty delicious. I really enjoyed the pecan pieces cooked inside as well! Will def be back but will be trying a different speciality pancake next time! I also really like the option to substitute toast for a pancake, .50 cents for a regular pancake and $ 1 for a speciality pancake! Rating 4.5!

Had brunch here and it was delish, found this gem by going through Unilocal(where else? Lol) reviews were strong and we decided to give it a try, met college friends that i havent seen in a decade, place is small but very cozy and not intimidating coz the decors are very welcoming. Wait times is average and food was delish. I ordered the pastrami with egg over easy sandwich! It was huge sandwich and very filling, it wasnt salty just seasoned right and the meat is moist and the rye bread i chose as an option is tasty. My wife ordered the chorizo omelet, tasty and big serving! Delish also and cooked just right but in my opinion, the pastrami wins hands down. The strawberry mango lemonade is the bomb and its refillable. Our server rudy is great! Parking can be crazy but we got lucky

Having just moved to Gardena from LA, my roommate and I were wondering if there were any bomb brunch places. We came across The Pan and decided to give it a try since there were so many great reviews. On the outside it doesn’t look like it’s be that great. It’s a small establishment with simple and plain décor. But from my experience, these hole in the walls are diamonds in the rough. There was also a huge line. To seat the 3 of us would take an hour. Whoa. This place better be good. And it was. Service was super friendly! Our server apologized for the wait and got our drink orders started immediately. He gave us some recommendations: popular opinion vs personal preference. We decided to go with what he thought was good and we were extremely pleased with the food. Everything is made to order so it was another wait for food but it was sooo worth it. I love how they make the food themselves. You can definitely taste the difference between food from the Pan and food from other diners/brunch spots. I will be a frequent customer at the Pan now :)

The Pan is a great breakfast /brunch place. With required patience, you will enjoy some tasty food. I’ve been to The Pan several times and always had a decent experience. Let’s start with the taste of the food. I’ve had the original loaded hash browns which is my favorite! The aioli sauce tops it off! Omg! This visit, I had a few bites of their chili which was too salty. It would’ve been so good if it wasn’t overpowered by salt. The waiter explained that it was homemade and did not hesitate to take it back. He said he would notify the cook. I could tell that the chili could’ve been great if it wasn’t so salty. I also ordered the fish n chips which was good. It came with homemade tartar sauce. The fish and fries tasted more yummy dipped in the tarter sauce. Pricing is reasonable! The fish n chips was only $ 9.25 and the loaded hash browns are also $ 9.25. It’s a decent amount of food too! I gave the restaurant 4 stars only because the wait tends to be a bit long during breakfast /lunch time. 20 — 30 mins wait to be seated and another 20 — 30mins to receive your food. The place is fairly small but cozy. They’ve done a great job making due with the space they have. It’s understandable why it takes awhile to be seated because of limited space. Parking lot is also small. Street parking might be your best bet.

Tasty, inexpensive fare! Definitely recommended for brunch. However, this location does have limited parking and a typical wait of upwards of thirty minutes. The Original Loaded Hashbrowns was a patron favorite(and quite delicious) while the french toast(Pan French Toast) was fairly standard(but the vanilla butter was amazing). I opted for the barbecue chicken salad which was large and well balanced. I would order it again. There were a few hiccups in service(as it was quite busy), but overall, a good option for cheap eats.

After weeks of passing by The Pan we finally got to try it out. So we went on a Saturday night thinking it would be crazy busy cause they had chairs in the front for the waiting area. But nope only a few people inside and no wait. It’s a small cozy little restaurant. They serve ur drinks in little Mason jars. And then they serve these fancy bottles for there water. It’s a nice fancy touch. We ordered Fries, pizza and pancakes. I know, don’t ask it was a crazy mix of food. Fries were really good and they had some kind of crust to them but really delicious. Got a single Pineapple Pancake that was really really good. They make the Pancakes really thick so an a la carte order of just one is pretty filling. They actually cook little chunks of Pineapple in the batter. Very delicious. So we saw so many pics of the pizza so we had to give it a try. We asked for thin crust but it’s really not thin crust. There thin crust is like a regular pizza crust. Was expecting it to be like cardboard thin. But overall the pizza was delicious. I gave them 4stars because of the pizza still being regular crust. Overall service was great. Parking might be a little tough if its busy. But definitely will be back.

After my best friend and I took my mother to LAX, we wanted to have some breakfast. I looked up «gluten free» on Unilocal and The Pan popped up. I was excited! However, we found out immediately upon arrival that this place is not gluten free. This did not deter us, though. I opted for a vegetarian omelet, which was so good! My friend had banana nut pancakes, which she said were some of the best we’d ever had. The service here is impeccable, too. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely eat here. We enjoyed it!

From their pancakes to their loaded hash, The Pan proved itself to be quite successful within the scope of breakfast goods. I ordered the pancakes topped with chocolate syrup and a peanut butter butter blend, loaded hash, and their wet steak and eggs burrito. The pancakes were quite magical. You can compare it to an individual who has been confound to a tanning table for quite too long. Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the inside. The burrito… Ohhhh the burrito. There’s something about wet burritos that instills within me a desire to be slathered with something sausey. It’s just too sexy for my own good.
