This is the best massage place ever!!! My favorite therapist is Jin!!! He is amazing and I highly recomend him. He also fix my painand today I am good as new. I tried the other people which were also pretty experienced, but Jin is the best. You should also try him. I give him a good tip and you should to cause this man… incredible! My back has been hurting since forever… Hide’s Shiatsu is like a miracle to me because I won’t have to bend down and pick something without being in pain.

This place is fantastic. I always feel 1 million times better when I walk out. Asia we do the one hour session and it’s an amazing deal. I’ve been coming here for years. Try Sonny or Anne!

This place is my go to for a quick massage. You feel very welcomed and they make sure they address your issue. Love the ambience as well, very relaxing. They even offer you tea or water after.

I went looking for a shiatsu massage place at the suggestion of my doctor. After having a negative massage experience in a spa, I didn’t want frills, I just wanted a good deep tissue massage.
There are no private rooms, which I actually liked because that way things are out in the open. After reading other reviews, I showed up in yoga pants and a t-​shirt. I’m glad I did, because Shoji really worked on me. I like that you don’t have to disrobe; they put a sheet over you and massage you through the sheet. Sometimes it did hurt a little, but only because I had really bad knots in my back, neck and shoulders. The therapists not only use their hands, but also elbows, knees and feet to get deep into your tissues. It didn’t bother me at all, but just be aware that they do that. I went for 45 minutes but could easily have gone for an hour. Best massage I’ve ever had and I’ve already set an appointment in another 2 weeks. Shoji was awesome!

I have been going to this place for years whenever I get a flu, cold, back ache, muscle pain and when I am physically weak from working too hard. The therapists are professional and they know what they are doing. I like that I am covered with a white sheet for privacy and plus I can wear my gym clothes. It was a jewel in my life where I can find healing. Jin is my favorite therapist. Give this place a chance! If the pressure is too painful you can always tell them to ease up on you. :) I have recommended this to my friends and now they keep going back. I wish I can find one like this in McKinney, TX area.

This place is AMAZING! I usually request Sunny or Hide. But have had good massages from others. These guys really know what they are doing. From the minute they lay elbow into me, I’m feeling the pain, and it feels good. I have been to many other massage places in the area, and this one by far has my business forever. I always leave feeling refreshed and my muscles perfectly worked. Make an appointment, because they book up. They are open late though, so that is nice. Do not pass this place up, it is totally worth every penny.

Amazing massage! 30 mins wasn’t enough. Almost fell asleep. Was so tight in shoulders and lower back when I walked in but now ROM is improved tremendously and my level of comfort is back to normal! Thank you!

I’ve been coming here for years and really enjoy the shiatsu massages. It’s $ 12 for 15 minute increments. I find 45 minutes to be just enough time to feel relaxed and I sleep like a baby when I get home. G’night…

as a Shiatsu-​lover, this is the genuine Shiatsu.
I had tried more than 10 Shiatsu around LA county, but none of them satisfy me. Yeah if I was told these were Swedish massage or deep-​tissue massage, I don’t complain anything. But they were not, so I almost gave up searching real Shiatsu in LA.
I stopped by here since I moved to Torrance, then, thanks god, I finally found GENUINE one.
I recommend Hide-​san, but it is all up to your favor, so come here and just try anyone!

What a shame I’ve let so many years pass before returning to Hide’s.
I’m not as spry as I used to be and shiatsu has made me feel human again.

Shiatsu Massage is almost similar to getting Chinese foot massages. I’ve been to a couple of Chinese foot massage establishments. Most of them sucked, a few were good. (Like the one on Artesia in Redondo Beach).
I was able to make reservations for Hide. When we got there, we were seen fairly fast.
I had the female masseuse. I really did not like the shiatsu massage at all. It was mostly her rubbing me in semi fast motions with a bit of thumbs. There was many times where I’d want to end the massage early and just pay for the hour massage because it sucked that much.
My massage companion also disliked his massage. We were both unsatisfied customers. It wasn’t because of the firmness of the massage. IT wasn’t firm at all. It was just horrible.
I would never come back here.

I found this place using Unilocal,and going through the reviews to see if it worth spending my money at this place. I made the right choice. They [he] did a great job! I feel a little relieved from my neck and shoulders. I will be returning back.

She’s a small lady with fingers of steel. I’m a big guy and she hit spots that i didn’t think she could handle. I think at one point she was kneeling on me with some crazy knee to the lower back stuff. I was waiting for the table to break and both of us end up on the floor but that massage table held us both. So no video to sent to Ridiculousness so Rob Dyrdek can make fun of me.
But back to the massage for $ 24 you get a 30 minute massage. Best $ 24 spent ever! Lol! She did karate chopping my shoulders and back at the end like I stole her last cookie. I left feeling like I was floating and not walking. Give this place a try and you will not regret it.

This place is fantastic. The rates are almost absurdly cheap, at $ 12 per 15min. It’s very clean, the sheets are crisp and white. It’s also nicely quiet — the music is soothing and played at a very low level just to keep it from being completely silent.
Well, okay, it’s quiet except for when someone relaxes enough that they fall asleep and start snoring, but you can’t hold that against the establishment!
A good shiatsu massage, especially when you’re all kinked up, is pretty intense. If you’re carrying a lot of tension, I would go so far as to say there will be moments when it is in fact absurdly painful — but that’s good pain. It means it’s working. You might even walk out a little sore. Drink a lot of water. Take it easy. Stretch a little. You’ll feel much better in the morning.
They do accept walk-​ins but it’s best to call ahead. They also take credit cards, and you can have them add the tip on as well, just tell them how much you want to add. You are tipping, right? Right?

whenever i need a good massage i this is the place i think of everytime. I stopped coming for a while because after a massage from here i had weird muscle spasms that i had to be on pain killers for a couple days.
I finally came back again because after having a baby i needed a good hard massage to release all my tension. I think his name was sunny? he was great but at the end he seemed a little lazy. when he was «massaging» my neck he didnt apply any pressure and it didnt feel like anything.
I came here again because i kept reading great reviews about Anne, so i booked another appointment with her. She was very gentle and wasn’t as rough as i wanted.
overall, its really nice for $ 48. i think i will keep booking with different people until i find my perfect match :)

Went for the first time today and had a massage with Take.
I’ve had many massages before but Take really knew what he was doing. I feel like he worked on every knot and even found some I didn’t even know I had.
I left leaving extremely relieved.

I had Ann as my masseuse. Powerful little lady. I was breaking out in a sweat as she broke tension on my muscles. Lol.
Great price for an hour so i was able to tip well. I will definately come back! !

There are about 4 – 5 beds in a common massage room, very well ventilated, and quiet. This is definitely not a relaxing massage place. This is a «I messed up my back please knock it back into shape» place. I begged for mercy a few times and got no relief. I was literally sweating from the pain in my back.
But you know what? It fixed the problem. So that’s the good part. You got a knot? A really messed up one? Try this place.

My first shiatsu experience. And yes, FULLY CLOTHED.
The Japanese technique, shiatsu, in Japanese means «finger pressure»; it is a type of alternative medicine consisting of finger and palm pressure, stretches, and other massage techniques.
It was a bit painful, so don’t expect soft kneading and complete relaxation.

AH MA ZING. The masseuses here are very knowledgeable and very «hardcore.» Another reviewer described Hide’s as «no-​frills” – I find that is a very apt description.
Essentially I got a full hour shitatsu. As I suspected almost everywehre I has having issues and he could detect it immediately. He suggested I «take it easy» when working out as my muscles were so bad. I actually wasn’t working out but I have been sleeping weird and carrying a heavy backpack all over the place.
I’ve gotten deep-​tissue massages before and this, by far, was the most intense. He asked me if he should use less pressure but I said no as I could tell it would feel good after. Long story short, after an hour of super intense massage, I felt AMAZING. I will definitely come back for another very soon…
