I would give this place a big fat 0 star if it was available. I don’t usually write these Unilocal reviews, but for this outfit I will. The owner is the most unethical person my husband and I have ever dealt with, the employees are great, but the owner is sh*t! We bought a very expensive Posturepedic foam bed with a high end bed frame. He assured us that everything we bought would work together, but he was wrong and refuse to exchange or refund any of our purchases. He gave us the run around, and was extremely rude and derogatory to us when we spoke with him. I would never ever recommend anyone to shop here. Perhaps the awareness of Unilocal!has changed the way he does business, but he is not genuinely a good man. As others have iterated, all he cares about is making the sale, and the hell with you after the sale. And he treats his employees like sh*t. Overall it was the most aweful business experience with any vendor for us.

I first made my way to Beds, Etc. this past Labor Day weekend just to look around. I had been looking into getting a new bed but I wasn’t sure what I wanted until I came to this spot. I knew I wanted a memory foam type bed so when I discovered that they carried an organic memory foam type mattress, I was intrigued. Carol was there and she was very knowledgeable about the mattress. She encouraged me to get on and give the mattress a try. At the end of my visit, she convinced me to put a $ 10 deposit just to lock the price down and if I changed my mind, then it’s just a $ 10 loss. I also arranged to do a layaway plan where I pay however much whenever I want and the bed gets delivered when paid in full. I recently paid off the remaining balance of the bed and was immediately scheduled a delivery. They delivered my stuff and even took out my 10-year old mattress. I’m still trying to get used to the mattress since it’s much bigger than my old one but it’s comfortable and I have no regrets.

Very frustrated with these people. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. ALLTHISPLACECARESABOUTISMAKINGTHESALE!!! ONCETHATHAPPENS, THEYCOILDCARELESSABOUTTHECUSTOMER. I ordered a mattress over a week ago and was told I would receive a phone call the night before delivery, no call. So I took the day(Friday) off work still expecting delivery. Guess what no call, no delivery, delivery date had been changed not to my knowledge for(Tuesday). So that means I have to take another day off. I don’t think so.

I came here to find a futon or day bed for a guest bedroom. I was immediately greeted and taken to their warehouse in the back. I was shown what they had, but I wasn’t impressed by the quality of their frames for the prices. I was however quite impressed with their mattresses. Since I am hoping to upgrade my cal king mattress around the holidays, that I have had for quite some time now, I am looking to get one of their organic cotton brand ones. I was impressed with it. So in closing: I would not buy their frames they had on site. They did not impress me much for the price. I have not looked at their online catalog, but I plan to. I do however plan to return to most likely purchase a new mattress. Customer service and attentiveness was pretty good overall.

My husband and I purchased a Vivon memory foam mattress from this business about a year ago. I have been suffering from severe asthmatic problems, headaches, dizziness, insomnia for the last year. I couldn’t figure out what was causing all of the issues until I realized that it all started about the same time we purchased the bed. I researched online and discovered that memory foam mattresses emit gasses and the chemicals in the bed can cause the symptoms I’ve been suffering from. As an experiment, I have been sleeping in our living room for the last week. All health issues have stopped since I stopped sleeping on the Vivon mattress. I called Beds Etc. to inform them of this and to see what could be done to fix the problem. I spoke to Carol, and although she seems quite nice and informative, the answer I got was that it is against the law for them to return the mattress and that other than giving me a mattress cover there is nothing they can do. Apparently dust and dander can cause the memory foam to emit gasses — isn’t this something that should be disclosed at the point of sale? She did say that she would speak to the owner again, but I am not hopeful. UPDATE: We went in tonight to speak to the owner(Ron, I think was his name). He is nice and mellow, seemed understanding. We ended up buying an organic mattress with a discount. Considering he could have just said tough luck to us, I think we struck a decent deal. So I changed our rating to 4 stars. Plus he gave our son a Serta stuffed sheep, which he loves. Just be very aware of what you are purchasing before you purchase it.

Walked in was greeted right away by a women named Carol. When I told her what we had in mind she quickly took me to a few beds to try out. She was very knowledgeable about each mattress & what it had to offer. I gotta say out of all 10(yes 10) mattress stores we finally found the one we loved. Big thanks Carol & her smile we were Sold!!! The thing I think I loved the most was there was no pressure to buy like all the other places!

KEPT A $ 160DEPOSITFOR A BUNKBEDTHEYNEVERDELIVERED: Ordered a bunk bed and left a deposit for a supposedly stocked item. After multiple calls, I learned that there was no stock of the item. It’s been four months of customer service he! to get my money back. For months they said they had to research it. And now that’s it’s gotten seriously delinquent, the last statement was, «We don’t give refunds — only store credit.» When I said, then give me the bed. The answer was, «That bed has gone up in price.» The warehouse manager that handled the orginal transaction left, and now I’m having to chase down managers and ask my bank for a charge back.
