I was disappointed because I expected this location to be similar to the Downey one. Turns out, it wasn’t. My falafel wasn’t the same texture or consistency. The hummus was very under seasoned. The portions weren’t as generous. Not bad, but wasn’t as satisfying.

Omg!!! I ordered from DoorDash. So glad this place was one of the options. I had the gyro plate. Oh wow it’s tender, juicy and delicious. The cilantro sauce and garlic sauces are a must try too. Portion was generous. Next time I go to check out the restaurant. :)

There are no waiters, so when you come here, make sure you go all the way inside to order your food. The meals are warm, fresh and tasty. Healthier options available here.
There is a large outdoor seating area with a covered canopy. There is no indoor seating.
They have 2 tvs and they have comedy shows every now and then. The next one is June 6. Overall good portions and good food. Check them out.

The food is fresh, and delicious! I love the outdoor patio where patrons can partake in hookah and watch 2 television as well. A place for families, gatherings, and large groups.

It’s good. Definitely will satisfy your craving. Not too many options, but they have all that’s needed. My girlfriend loved the beef and the gyro meat. I got chicken and it was whatevs, a little dry. Her gyro meat was pretty good. Parking situation is dumb as shit. Park on the street or park over by Sketchers since Americhip claimed like 90% of the lot. The eating area is a little patio layout. I imagine it’d be hot as hell on a summer day. The cashier and server is nice and friendly. Very helpful. I would give all 5 stars, but I have eaten at The Kebab Shop and things just haven’t been the same since. Definitely try this place out though.

This place is ridiculously delicious. Has a nice outdoor patio that is covered with a tv to watch your favorite game. Couldn’t ask for better weather on this Sunday afternoon with the perfect meal to hit the spot.

Next food adventure is in our city, Gardena. We ordered the Mixed Grill Combo which consists of marinated beef, chicken, kofta kabob and the second order is Gyro Meat.
Both items were excellent. The meats were grilled fresh and juicy, the hummus was great, the rice is good, and the sauce provided compliment the dishes.

I am so happy that there’s finally a good Mediterranean place near me. Since discovering this restaurant about a week ago, I’ve already had their food twice. That’s rare for me to repeat food. Yep, it’s that good.
First time, I had it to go. The second, I used a delivery service. Yes! I don’t even have to leave my house. Good food is coming to me. No more bad Chinese food. I’m looking at you Mandarin Kitchen.
I’ve ordered the Mixed Grill Combo which was perfectly cooked and Gyro Meat which was very tasty. Can we talk about the garlic sauce? I need to buy a tub of that addicting white stuff.
Portions are good. Service is fast. Food is delicious.
This is definitely going to be my go-​to place for when I don’t feel like cooking.

A co-​worker brought me here, he mentioned he comes here every time he is in the area. He made a great call! I had the gyro sandwich with the potatoes. The gyro was very good and had a lot of meat with the right amount of yogurt dressing. Have had some gyros lately that go very heavy on the dressing.
The potatoes are grilled very lightly. I think they are grilled in olive oil, I found them very delicious. The price of the gyro was pretty reasonable.
All the tables are in the outdoor patio. It is covered but today’s balmy 64 degrees and windy conditions made us want to head out quickly. I would like to try some of their other dishes!

I’ve been to the Dominguez location so I was happy they opened one closer to me. I placed an order through Unilocal.Ordered the chicken kabob entrée. Said it should take between 10−35mins. When I arrived it was about 20 minutes in and it was almost ready. I love the green sauce and garlic sauce. So I was surprised when I looked in the bag and they didn’t put and garlic sauce. I asked them if I could get one and they did, also asked if it usually comes with the meal, the woman said it depends what meal you get. At the other location they give you the garlic sauce and green sauce automatically. Anyways, the food was really good so I will be coming back forsure.

If I could give 8 stars, I would.
The Green Olive probably goes down as the best tasting Mediterranean joints I’ve ever tried. I had the combo trio plate, it came with 3 skewers: Chicken, ground beef, and shrimp. I’m not the biggest beef eater, so I wasn’t too impressed there, but the chicken and shrimp were marinated to perfection
The Green Olive is nestled on Vermont Ave. in the business district of Gardena. If you blink, you’ll miss it.

Talk about impressed! I love Mediterranean food… it’s simple, healthy, and just plain delicious! This little inconspicuous spot popped up in place of another that wasn’t doing too well. With minimal advertising, you basically find them through word of mouth or by driving by and their location in an industrial area makes them a prime pick for local employees, since folks often look for places in the area to grab a quick lunch or dinner.
I ordered the #8 Mixed Grill Combo, which comes with a marinated beef, chicken, and kofta kabob. All of it was phenomenal, but my favorite was the chicken. It’s seasoned so well and just superbly tasty! All of the meat is good… the beef is nice and flavorful, as well as tender and the kofta is a marinated with garlic and parsley and is really good, as well! I absolutely love their hummus and garlic sauce! I could honestly eat their food everyday. I did order an extra kabob and the price was only $ 2.00! Most places that you go to charge you almost the same price as the entire meal, but I found the $ 2.00 to be very reasonable. The rice and the salad are good and I was even able to try their falafel. I definitely want to try that again. It tasted better than I thought it would. Looking at it, especially if you’ve never had Mediterranean food can be a little unsettling, but it is delicious. Add some of the hummus and garlic sauce to it!
They even have plates for vegetarians, such as the #11 Falafel Platter, which comes with falafel patties, tahini sauce, hummus, and a house salad, the #12 Vegetarian Platter with hummus, baba ghanouj, tabouli, falafel, and grape leaves or for those who want fish, they have both shrimp and salmon kabobs. There are also wraps like the #13 Grilled Eggplant, that comes with grilled eggplant, lettuce, tomatoes, feta cheese, and house dressing. It is bomb! My coworker ordered that. They also have several different salads from the traditional Caesar salad and Greek salad to a Fattouche salad and a Yogurt and Cucumber salad.
The only drawback is that their seating is outside under a covered canopy and while they have a few heat lamps, it is still freezing on a cold day, so I just grab and go, rather than staying and eating.

Tonight I searched Unilocal for «Greek food delivery» and found this. I love Greek food and honestly, this is the best I’ve ever eaten. The delivery minimum is $ 20 with a $ 5 delivery fee. At first I thought it was a bit much, but keeping their exceptional star rating in mind, I was curious.
I ordered a #8. Mixed Grill Combo Marinated beef, chicken and kofta kabob. Lg hummas. 1 pc fallafal. 4 pcs pita bread. and 1 baklava.
Delivery was about an hour, but I kept in mind that it’s Saturday night and it was fairly dark outside.
#8 includes the 3 kababs on top of rice. On the plate, was hummas and a side salad. On the side were 3 tiny containers of sauce. The meat is so tender. The beef and chicken were so tender. The sausage had plenty of spices. The green sauce was a little tangy and spicy. Delicous!
I regret only ordering 1 fallafal. Should have ordered more. Not over-​fried and not dried out like others I’ve tasted. I tried it alone, then with a little of the green sauce, and then with a little hummus. Great all 3 ways!
The hummus comes in small or large. I ordered the large, which comes in a tub about 16oz size. It’s topped with a little sriracha. So creamy with just the right amount of lemon that brings the perfect balance and freshness.
The baklava… c’mon, it’s baklava! Yummy! Flaky, sweet, gooey.
The delivery man was polite and friendly.
Food is hearty warm goodness, in each bite. There isn’t one negative thing I can say about the food. It’s just wonderful! I’m looking forward to ordering again!

Decent Mediterranean food in the area. Nothing special about their meat which is a bit too salty for my tastesbud. But their sauces are so good and compliments the food. They have the delicious green sauce and their garlic sauce.
Each combination comes with rice, salad, hummus, and a pita bread for about $ 10-​$ 15. It’s fast, convenient and decent.

This is a fairly new establishment that opened about 6 months ago. The location is near the Sketchers Factory Outlet Store in the corner of the parking lot. This place is interesting because the restaurant seating is a patio. You order food inside, but there’s no seating inside. It’s a unique hole-​in-​the-​wall feel because you can eat and also hookah on the patio while being surrounded by music videos on the tv screens. The only downside is that there are inevitable flies that come swooping dangerously close to your food.
I ordered the gyro and chicken combo, which came with hummus, rice, salad. They also bring out pita bread, and later, they gave us these really great potatoes for us too. Everything was really delicious and I would definitely come here again for lunch. The only downside is that food comes out really slowly. I saw a bunch of people to-​go ordering, so maybe they can hire another person for kitchen staff when business picks up a bit more. Great for a casual lunch.

Mediterranean food from Green Olive is so good.
I came here on a Monday around 2pm and it wasn’t busy. It located in the same plaza as sketchers and K1. It’s got a funky location, but it’s pretty easy to find.
You first walk in through the cool patio area that is decorated very nicely. Looking through previous pictures, they have held parties in the patio. The patio is large and has 2 TV screens streaming pandora. The area is very nice and clean.
You pass enter through the patio area and then enter to left to place your order inside. The huge green menu has a plethora of items. They use plastic plates and silver utensils. They have a good soda selection as well as a fridge has the baklava in it.
You place your order and then they give you a number. They will deliver your food to you. Once you are finished you can leave the plates on the table.
Ok onto the food:
We ordered the works and another plate that has beef, chicken, and shrimp.
—the works was really good. The steak was juicy and flavorful. The chicken was tasty. The other beef was really good. Comes with rice, salad, and hummus.
—the combo plate was also good. The chicken was tender and the beef was really good. The shrimp was really tasty (like 4 or 5 on the skewer). It came with rice and I substituted the salad for their potatoes with jalapeño and garlic. It was so good.
They give you 1 pita bread with every order. No garlic sauce came with it but that’s ok.
We also ordered the bakalava ($ 1.75) and it was really good and crunchy. Sweet and yummy.
The food was really good and the employees are very friendly.
