my first time here was a pleasant experience the breakfast is tasty and large portions. Service was the norm. If you’re in the mood for a quick breakfast or a burger give this place a try.

Stopped by with friends on the way to disney land and was pleasantly surprised to find that they served breakfast all day. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon, and it was bomb. One friend ordered the quarter pounder combo and loved it, and another ordered the fresh fish tacos which were wonderfully flavored(they said the combination of sauce and fish was amazing). We split a steak fajita dish among all of us, it came out steaming and it was just as bomb as the burrito I ordered. Definitely stopping by again if I happen to be in the area.

I always come here when I get my car washed next door. Food is bomb! french toast?! fuhgetaboutit! so fucking good!!! I’ve never had something I didn’t like chicken fingers, double bacon cheese burger, everything for breakfast. mmmm mmmm good eatin! prices are super good too way cheap! that being said, the drinks are where they get you, but when the food is cheap. man they gotta make their money some where. cash only too! or debit witha 50cent charge. but hey it’s all good support this mom n pop instead of the fast food franchises across the street or the ihop next door. still cheaper than any of them with larger portions and better fresher food too! plus I’ve watched the owners several times help out the waitresses clean tables and stuff and that’s pretty cool not afraid to get their hands dirty even though their the boss. get your car washed and come eat! I’m giving it 4.5 stars rounded up… that cash only thing has killed me before. no food this fatty :(other than that it would be a solid 5!

Very bad service. The workers need training. And the food was mediocre. Very rude and unfriendly workers.

love this place! Lots of menu options to choose from — breakfast all day. The turkey sandwich is my favorite because they have sourdough bread. Lots of burritos /hamburgers, even spaghetti and meatballs. All reasonably priced. Good for dates or bringing the family. Employees have always been friendly. Be sure to leave money in their tip jar — they work hard & deserve to stay in business.

Not what it used to be. The employees are very rude and not worth the prices they charge.

+ Lots to choose from + Lots of indoor seating + Drive-thru available + Service is friendly — Food was okay Came here with a couple of my friends because one had nostalgia and wanted to come eat here after the gym. He used to eat here when he lived nearby, so yea. we came. I had their fried chicken dinner plate, came out to $ 9~. It came with a nice plate of salad, and then another plate of fried chicken consisting about 6 – 7 pieces? The chicken was super crisp lol, I mean crisp skin is cool, but man this thing was crackin’ teeth lol. When I got under the skin, the chicken tasted fine. Really could have been done a bit better. I’ve had a bit better at places similar to this one. so I was a bit disappointed. Their service here is pretty good. Asking if you need anything and being attentive enough to come help clean our tables. Overall, satisfied with this place, just not my forte’.

We came here before going to the movies the other night. This place was really just okay. Nothing too special but this is a hamburger review only… mostly. There are so many things to order on the menu. The staff just wasn’t that pleasant. They tried to charge me twice for a ranch dressing that I had already paid for. They came over to my table to ask for .50. Fifty cents, really? And then when the cashier came to tell her I had already paid, she was like«OH» and then stormed off. The hamburger itself was just okay. Came out to $ 15 with fries and two drinks. The food was just alright, the restaurant itself was kind of messy, and the service just wasn’t that great. Not likely we will be back anytime soon.

This place was meh… sorry to say. I’ve tried tons of burger spots and their bacon cheeseburger didn’t really cut it. The meat tasted a bit dry and it was lacking flavor and sauce. For the price of this combo, I’d rather drive to Volcano Burgers in Los Alamitos for the same meal.

…and the Oscar for«Best Hamburger in a Supporting Roll» goes to… Tomy’s Chili Double Cheeseburger! **** **** **** JULES: Looks like me and Vincent caught you boys at breakfast. Sorry about that. Whatcha having? BRETT: Uh, hamburgers. JULES: Hamburgers! The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast! What kind of hamburgers? BRETT: Uh, [chili double cheeseburgers.] JULES: No, where’d you get ‘em? McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Jack in the Box… Where? BRETT: Um, [Tomy’s Hamburgers.] JULES: [Tomy’s Hamburgers!] That’s that [Garden Grove] burger joint. I hear they’ve got some tasty [chili double cheeseburgers.] **** **** **** These chili burgers can be messy, but isn’t that what you’re expecting, what you’re hoping for? And, I’m telling you, it’s the meaty chili – mixed with the tang of the pickles and the punch of mustard – that gives Tomy’s Chili Double Cheeseburgers such incredible bite. I hadn’t eaten one in years, just kept driving by. I remember, however, enjoying them more once taken home, rather than dining in. And this latest trip, after a three or four-year hiatus, my drive-thru preference was again confirmed. There’s nothing wrong with Tomy’s, it’s just that these chili burgers in particular were ones I’d pick up late night with friends. Nostalgia, I suppose. **** **** **** JULES: I ain’t never had one myself. How are they? BRETT: Good. JULES: You mind if I try one of yours? This is yours here, right? BRETT: Yeah. JULES: Mmm, this is a tasty [chili double cheeseburger!] Vincent, you ever had a [Tomy’s Chili Double Cheeseburger?] Want a bite? They’re real tasty. VINCENT: Ain’t hungry. JULES: Well, if you like [chili double cheeseburgers,] give them a try sometime. Me, I can’t usually get ‘em because my girlfriend’s a vegetarian(which pretty much makes me a vegetarian) but I do love the taste of a good [chili double cheeseburger.] «Pulp Fiction»(1994)

Unilocal Challenge 201529⁄365 There was a place who had a name and Tomy was his name T-O-M-Y T-O-M-Y T-O-M-Y Tomy with one M! Tomy’s with 1 M, not two Ms, not to be confused with the one with the two MM, s. Located on Chapman ave in GG across the street from the Promenade, sits this cozy little diner serving up your typical breakfast specials, burgers, chicken sandwiches, dinners, salads at a reasonable price. It is a pretty good alternative to the surrounding drive thrus, and a little bit more filling. The charbroiled chicken sandwich on a wheat bun was tasty at about $ 6.00 and some change. So, either drive thru, or order inside and they bring it to your table or get it to go. Hours are pretty early, perfect for a quick stop on the way to work. Service is okay, nothing to special, just typical. Price is okay. Only complaint is the price to add cheese. For some reason she wanted to charge me close to a dollar to add cheese to my chicken sandwich, when the menu board had a different price, and the price for a hamburger verses cheeseburger is also a different price for a slice of cheese. Very strange. So I said No to cheese, and you should too. Solid 3 to 3.5 stars. Review #536

We both had #79 .pancakes, bacon and eggs. We added 1side of hash browns. The owner even stopped by to ask how what we thought of the place and, if we would come back again. We assured him we would.

This establishment is ridiculously unprofessional. First of all, there is a negative atmosphere when you approach the cash registers to order. You are not welcomed or greeted, instead you are warned about the $.50 cents charge they will make on any debit or credit card usage. Along with this tax, you are also not advised about the $.50 cent charge on any dressings, such as ranch, that you would almost always want for your fries. The absurd thing is that they charge you as if you were getting cash back out of an ATM for a measly 1oz container of ranch. Lastly, when you finally do receive your meal, which does not take too long, you are surprised with the unprofessionalism that your food is set upon the table. They sloppily hand your plate to you, or simply throw it upon your dirty table, as if you were in a third world jail. I would advise anybody that steps through the door to simply turn around and find a different establishment to enjoy a nice family meal!

More like 2−¾ stars. Parking is tight here. It’s one of those mexiburger joints. I ate here for breakfast, and had a chili cheese omelette, with toast and hashbrowns. The omelette was nice sized, but I did find the chili to be a little pasty and bland. Every seat was occupied, and the bussers were struggling to clear tables. While I was waiting for my food, a server came by, slapped a placemat down, and practically pitched the silverware at me. So, maybe the service could be a little better. I will give them another try for lunch sometime.

I really cant figure out why there was a line of cars around the building for breakfast. I decided to try the drive-thru on a Sunday morning. A plus with the drive-thru is they have someone taking orders at the car windows to expedite service instead of waiting to get to the ordering menu /speaker. I ordered a simple sausage, egg, toast breakfast and it was reasonably priced, but the eggs had no flavor, the sausage was burned and the hash browns were just depressing looking not browned and not much flavor. I’ll give this place a shot for a burger sometime in the future and see what happens. Oh by the way they do not accept credit cards and if you try to use your ATM card they said they need to take out $ 10. and then i guess give you change if your order is under $ 10? I’m not sure. There is also a 50 cent fee for this.
