Love this place! Been going here for 4 years. Awesome people, great service. Good food, especially the chicken noodle soup! Delicious!

Food is great, and their customer service is outstanding. Very friendly people. I’ve been coming here with my family since I was little, we’ve never had any complaints. Finally had to leave them a well-deserved 5 star review. Definitely worth a try!

Hamburgers are better than any fast food chain burgers. If you want premium meat, try the angus burger, it’s very good. The size of the burger is what’s used to be, not the palm-size one. Side orders of fries, onion rings or zucchini are generous. You will be very full. Oh! the price is the same as burgers in fast food chains. Breakfast meals are unbelievable. It beats Denny’s, Spries, Carrows, etc. The price is cheaper than any of those chains. The place is hole in the wall, old and rusty. Service is very good though.

Service was great; I give them 5 stars for there customer service! The one star is for the food and cleanest of the place. After a long day taking the kids out to disneyland we decided to come here. We have heard so much about«The Original Harry’s place». How food was the best etc… We got here order our food at the register; I got the T-bone steaks; Hubbie got the fish and chips and kids got breakfast. T-bone steak was so disgusting; the meat tasted and smelled old; like it was left out for sometime. Even worse it was so thin it pretty much just fell off. took a few bites and that was it. The spoiled smell was just ekkk. My husband fish and chip was okay but it was burnt; like who burn fish? The kids sausage even worse; I know when I cook sausage for my kids it doesn’t have an after taste of spoiled food. I’m not sure what happened to this place; but they need to think about there customers because people can get really sick eating spoiled food.

My boyfriend and I came here today after we saw that Project West was closed across the street. I love brunch places, but this one cannot compare to Norm’s, Mae’s Café, or Uncle Pete’s Café. You walk in and order like a fast food restaurant and pay before you get seated and get your food. This was interesting to me since I don’t see it a lot with these kinds of restaurants — but I get it, and it’s a great way to avoid diner dash. The service was decent. We got seated, but the tables honestly looked really unsanitary. We had a table that was set up with new white, paper table mats, but for some reason, there was food left over on it. I saw the workers wipe the other tables, but they basically just wipe all of the food onto the ground. Onto the food — I ordered a Denver omelette with sausage, cheese, and green bell peppers. My boyfriend ordered the mushroom and cheese omelette. Both were meh; we’ve had better. Our omelettes didn’t wow us. They were dry inside, and the cheese on top just looked like it was a slice of Kraft cheese that was slapped onto the omelette. The hash browns that came with it might as well be called mashed browns, because they were super soft inside. I like my hash browns cooked and crispy, but that wasn’t the case here. And the toast! It wasn’t as buttered, moist, and flavorful as other places. The toast was burnt and really hard… we felt like we were eating wheat chips. Another thing — my boyfriend and I like eating our food with Tabasco sauce. I was really happy to see that they had a bottle of it on each table, ready for customers to use. HOWEVER, the Tabasco bottle on our table looked really old, where it seemed as if the label was fading away or seeping through the bottle. My boyfriend checked the expiration date and saw that it expired in 3 years ago, in 2012! We ended up grabbing a bottle from a different table, which had an expiration date in 2018. I gave this place an extra star because the prices are cheap & the meal will probably fill you up for what it’s worth. I don’t know if we just ordered the wrong items or if it was just an off day, but we will probably not be coming back for a while.

Pros: + Ample Parking + Menu has Plenty of Variety + Decent Chili Cheese Fries Cons: — Meh Burger — Bland breakfast burritos We were excited to try this spot since we were in the area and it was highly rated. The food wasn’t bad but it could have used some seasoning. We had breakfast burritos, a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. The burritos were decent but I didn’t like that the ingredients weren’t dispersed evenly. One bite was all potato and the next bite was all sausage. The bacon was nowhere to be seen until I got to the bottom of the burrito. Had no salsa and the potato was very bland, had no taste at all. The chili cheese fries were decent. The burger was pretty mediocre. This spot might have some hidden gems we didn’t get to try, but many of the reviews praised the breakfast and if their breakfast burrito is any indication, this place is just your regular Burger/Breakfast joint. Don’t see why it is highly rated. Like the reviews mention, it wasn’t pricey, but it wasn’t very good either. So if you want some incredibly mediocre food at a great price… come on by!

First time here and loved it!!! Had the 3 egg breakfast special with extra sausage. I have a tough order that most places can’t seem to get right, eggs medium, sausage and hash browns very well done but toast lightly done and they nailed it!!! Bravo Harry! I’ll be back!

We love, love, love Harry’s. You can’t go wrong with any of their breakfast items. We have tried them all. Our favorites are the egg and hash brown breakfast special. We have also tried some of their lunch items. Our favorite is the cheeseburger special. You just can’t go wrong. If you call ahead your order will be ready in about 10 minutes. The only issue would be on the weekends there is no parking.

Wow, do they every make a great breakfast burrito! It’s a meal in a tortilla. Their steak sandwiches are meaty and good on a fresh roll. I used to live in Gardena where Gregory the manager used to be a cook. I knew him back in the 1990’s. He moved his business to this location and I’m glad he did. I really enjoyed his breakfasts in Gardena and they haven’t changed when he moved here. Their omelettes are made just right. Gregory and his wife work behind the counter and they really make you feel at home like they did in Gardena. Great food. very reasonably priced. I’m glad I found them again. just by chance because I moved to Los Alamitos.

If I could give this place more stars than 5 I would. Friendly, efficient service. Waitresses and cooks work their tushes off, not everyone tips either, unfortunately. Best hamburgers in Orange County, made fresh, not reheated on microwave. French fries to die for. Prices fabulous, breakfasts especially. The only thing I don’t care for is waiting in line to order. Wish they had menus at the table and order from there. But, it’s not that kind of place. If it was it wouldn’t be Harry’s Place, and just be another boring mediocre hamburger joint. Haven’t tried all the dinner items, but what I had were great. Parking horrible, especially on weekends. The locals know a good deal when they see one. Harry’s epitomizes the saying«best value for the money»!

My first time here. Food was good, cooked the way I asked. Generous portions. I had the ribeye and eggs breakfast with hash browns. The quality of the steak was ok. The price was even better. Breakfast and a drink $ 9.82. Can’t beat that! I would definitely recommend, especially if your on a budget and hungry.

Old school quick diner joint. They do good burgers al for lunch and the pastrami is really good too. We usually come here for breakfast on a weekend morning and the place is always full. Breakfast plates are huge and a really good deal for what you’re paying, I don’t think we’ve every actually finished one of the plates. Try the steak and eggs for breakfast, you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

This place is a typical mom and pop fast food place. It is not an Outback or Black Angus by any means. I have to give them 5 stars due to the wonderful smiles, service, and the big fact that they prepared my sandwich just as I desired which isn’t often. The nice woman who took my order was always smiling warmly and very nice. I walked in thee after working and was in ragged clothes. I was treated very nice in this place and that is very much appeciated. The place is clean, the tables are cleaned off, and the staff are very friendly and smile often. I’ve never been to this location before since I was traveling in the area. I do enjoy finding little gems like this one. My only regret is this place is not closer to where I live or work. I also love the fact each table has a napkin dispenser. I simply do not eating at places where you have to go to the counter to ask for an extra napkin or two. Their Baklava is excellent!

You seriously can’t beat the price for breakfast anywhere in this area. I dont know where you can get 3 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, toast and coffee for under $ 6. The food comes out super fast and the coffee is always hot. The area is a little shady, and the décor is dated, but the food is awesome. I always stop by when I’m in the area. If you’re looking for a quick and cheap meal, this is the place to go.

I’ve been coming here for yearsss. It’s a little bit rundown but the food is good! And they have horchata and orange bang on tap! That’s pretty awesome. I usually get a burger here or breakfast when it’s breakfast time. Their prices are very affordable. Way better than Denny’s or IHOP of you ask me.

This place reminds me of good, old American fashion breakfast joint! It’s locate on the corner with its own parking lot and at first glance seems very old, but for those of you that watch supernatural. it reminds me of the breakfast places Dean and Sam go to! Hahaha You order and pay when you first walk in and then you can grab your own table and place your number order there. Water is self serve by the counter in red cups My boyfriend ordered the rib eye steak and eggs breakfast special for only $ 6.99 in medium rare. It came with hash browns and 3 eggs and toast. The rib eye steak was actually pretty good and decent for such a cheap price. THe hash browns were cooked very fresh and hot and was crispy on the outside. Eggs are eggs lol can’t really mess them up I ordered the biscuits and gravy special for $ 4 and it came with two freshly hot biscuits topped with plenty of country gravy(mm me likey) and the country gravy had sausage bits in it already too that blended well with the gravy. Gravy was thick and yummy. It also came with two eggs and you have the choice between two pieces of sausages or bacon Overall, nice little low key place for fresh and cheap breakfast that’s still cooked decent. I recommend this place over Denny’s
