My friend actually brought home some of these dessert croissants stuffed with fruits and it actually was quite delicious. They stuff pudding into everything here. I also heard that they make cakes so for my sister-in-law’s birthday, I decided to try one of their cakes. I got the chocolate chiffon cake because she really likes sweets and I thought chocolate would be perfect, but I was wrong. The chocolate was still bitter and hard. It had a little hint of coffee. I was not really enjoying the bitter chocolate coffee mix. Also, I did not really enjoy their customer service, or lack there of. They don’t greet the customers or offer to help. The cashiers are rude and it gets worst when you ask them questions about the order. I don’t recommend going here, there are places similar to here or better, like 85 degrees.

Let me just start off that I love Paris baguette. Especially their pudding. Everything here is cute and tasty. I have gotten cakes from here for family members on their bdays all the time. The reason I gave this place 3 stars is because their customer service, or lack there of. The cashiers are rude. Like other reviews mentioned, they will give you the worst attitude when you have questions about your order. My cashier wore gloves when she gave me my change, then proceed to pick up my pastries. That is disgusting, don’t even bother to wear it next time. Owner: please train your staff properly. Have them smile, they always look like they are having the worst time there. Also, please please for the sake of your customers safety, please ask your cashiers to not use the same glove to touch money AND pastries.

I’ve been to Paris Baguette located inside the Zion Market in Irvine but this location is a separate location albeit adjacent to the H-Mart in Garden Grove. The décor is very Paris chic with the grey booths, black tables, and unending displays of dessert. This little sweet shop is reminiscent of 85 C with the different desserts you can pile on a tray, the dessert case, and the availability of hot or cold tea & coffee drinks. I decided on a cream puff that was in the display case. My friend had the matcha green tea latte. I had a sip of it and it was divine! The cream puff I bought had some fruit hidden away under the whipped cream but above the custard and it was the perfect end to our meal. It wasn’t too sweet but just enough to know that it was a sinful delight. If you’re looking for a dessert place to satisfy your sweet tooth, Paris Baguette is a great choice.

Disappointed to see they filled the cake with a chunk of cream in the center… Where’s my blueberry chiffon?

Quick service, huge selection of baked goods all different and worth trying much more than san diego. Comfortable environment and good music. Onion goat cheese danish is to die for! Their croissants are perfect, layered and crispy. Sweet potato and garlic crispy pastry is amazing. Pull apart cylinder bread is soft but wish it was sweet and had raisins like the ones in Hong Kong. Cheese horn is delicious toastd up. Other buns like custard, bun, red bean bun, sweet potato bun, not all that and their butter cream bun was too much butter, had to squeeze it all out. Hours are great open late for a bakery. Lotus bean cakes with preserved egg are authentic but I prefer the option to get it without it.

Been here few times but still disappointed with their customer service. To be honest, their customer service is the worst, stuffs here are ok but nooo, please train your worker, they need to smile at least.

Love all the goodies Paris Bagette has, I’ve been coming for a few years now. The only thing I don’t like is that most of the fruit pastries get taken out very late. And they are not consistant about making fresh orange juice Bummer! Other than that very very good

I’ve been to Paris Baguette many times over the years. It is located right by H-Mart, so it’s a convenient place to go after shopping or eating in this strip mall. The bread here is very fresh, so anything you get will be good. This last time I went for the strawberry croissant and the cheesecake. The strawberry croissant was massive. Very flaky, good custard, and fresh strawberries equal a good time. The cheesecake is more Asian than say New York style. By more Asian, I mean it had the consistency of sponge cake, but with cheesecake flavor. I liked it a lot and will order it again. Also, get a hot Matcha green tea. It’s delicious.

I come here from time to time to get a cake for a birthday or some other special occasion. Last time, I found that the chiffon cake had way too much cream in the center. I felt very cheated. In this day and age, who wants to eat more cream so we can get fat. I hope management reads their online reviews and make some changes. Otherwise, soon enough I won’t be coming back. I know for sure to avoid their bigger cakes as I know I’ll be getting extra cream not cake

Surprisingly I HADNOT been to the Paris Baguette except when I went to South, Korea! I know what is wrong with me? Well I’ll tell you. It’s like I was avoiding the place because I knew I could go anytime I wanted to. They are all over so there was no rush to try this place! Well it was that time of year again so time to get a birthday cake for Legg’s. Yes he is getting up there in age but when I tell you the guy has more energy than a 20 year old I BS you NOT! It’s GREAT! Most peeps began to wind down but not him. I think he is winding up. Quite the energizer bunny. So I was driving by and saw this place out the corner of my eye. I was going to get a cake from elsewhere but decided to see what they had. I had checked out a few places but all the cakes were WAYYYTOOOBIG for our needs! We needed a small cake for about 4 peeps max and we REALLY were not looking to have any leftovers. When I walked in here there were a few peeps but it wasn’t packed. I guess since the Thanksgiving holiday had just passed people probably had their fill with desserts or they might have made something themselves. I had done just about ENOUGH cooking so I was not in the mood to throw a cake together. I of course saw the tasty pastries they had as soon as I walked in but I resisted and moved directly toward the cakes after snagging two pudding treats. What, they are not pastries! I love the small container they come in which are perfect for a small taste without going overboard. Actually all there items are single serving for the most part unless you are getting a loaf of bread! All the cakes looked great and were not too big but still a smiggy-bit bigger then what I was looking for until I saw the Cappuccino cake shaped like a coffee cup. Enough for 4 peeps with little to no leftover. PREFECT! I got that to go and I also got some«Happy Birthday» candles. The young lady rang me up and offered me a frequent customer card. Woohoo! Love that. After a certain amount you get a $ 1 you can redeem on any item. LOVETHEM! I think with my one purchase I earned a few dollars that I WILL be using soon. I hid the cake in the garage frig and when it was time I went to get it added the candles and came out singing Happy Birthday to Legg’s! He was super surprised especially since he was sick. He blew his germs all over the cake and we gobbled it up. Hope we don’t catch anything. Did you know cake is the ONLY thing that people will willing eat after it has been spit all over with someone blowing out candles? Bazaar I have never understood that. This is were saying a prayer BEFOREYOUEAT can come in handy. Nhahah! Anywho the cake was REALLYVERYGOOD and so were the puddings and I will most likely be back for another one! Not to mention if the location here are as good as the ones in Korea I will be back for some starch.

May 152016 around 10:30 am horrible service from Tiffany working at the counter. Probably the rudest I’ve ever encountered at ANY business. She slammed the register when I complained about my iced latte coming in a Small when I told her I wanted a medium. On the display there were clearly 3 sizes: small, medium and large at ANY other café/boba shop/froyo/ice cream place. Also on the menu screen, there was an option of small, medium, large NOEXTRALARGE. Which dumbass business advertises sizes as medium, large, extra large? Thats what they claimed. I’ve been coming for years, I buy birthday cakes for every member of my family here. I never wanna go back because of this girl, someone give her some training and teach her some etiquette. She was Rude to customers before me too which means she treats everyone like shit. To Tiffany: You should be thankful you have a job, thankful someone is trying to train you. With your attitude, it’s a miracle you got hired in the first place. You have no excuse to treat people this way. They’re paying their $, show some damn respect.

I reserved a Mother’s Day cake for my mom, blueberry chiffon cake. The cake had very simple decorations so i was thinking the little chocolate sign would do the job. On her special day, i came to pick up the cake not knowing the Mother’s Day sign was not included on, which made it so blank like a regular cake. When she tasted it, the cream did not even have any flavor. It was plain with no sweetness at all. Such a disappointment. What was the point of taking reservations when you were not going to make it any special-er ? The cake was quite important because it represented the special day we were trying to celebrate. My mom wasnt happy. I guess we are not getting cakes from you in the future.

Very appealing décor. Since our visit I have learned that this is a small so cal chain looking to expand. Incredibly reasonable prices. We picked out 2 pastries to eat in store and 3 to take ho e to my parents who were watching my daughter. We had a strawberry cronut-ish type pastry and a crème brûlée one. The strawberry one was my favorite and the crème brûlée was delicious too. My friends had a chocolate cream one as well as an apple tart thing, both yummy. Bomb iced tea. Will be back.

Yummy. The pudding is so delish. Comes in a cute little jar. A must here. Most of what you’ll find here is on the lighter, fluffy, frenchy meets the pacific kind. Not too sweet, not too sugary, and just a good amount of flakiness. Located in a strip mall and next to the popular tofu place a couple doors down, it’s almost like a one stop shopping experience!

I see a lot of reviews for this place saying Paris Baguette is «too expensive», «over-rated», «serve old bread», «serve weak coffee»… Etc. Anyone who knows me knows that I eat more than the average lumber jack and I have never been known to turn any foods down. Though I haven’t tried everything this bakery has to offer, I have never encountered stale pastries or weak sauce coffee. I think like reviews, vary person to person. I try to base my reviews on what the establishment claims/advertises vs what I think they should claim or serve… PB is heavy on the details in the best ways possible. All of the pastries are lovingly decorated and the packaging is as expected with many Asian bakeries. CUTE ta boot! The variety isn’t as abundant as 85 Degrees but large enough that you’re sure to find something for everyone. Including gluten free products. They have specialty cold brewed teas such as Sangria Peach Tea and for hot teas, a handful selection of tea bags to go with your hot water. :/I really do like their hot mochas here! They go heavy on the cocoa… And I think O.T. Genasis said it best… I’m inlove with it! … Even if we are referring to 2 completely different things! ;) With so many bakeries in the OC, one can afford to be vigilant about what kinds of baked goods you’re on the hunt for! Enjoy!

I got a chiffon green tea cake for my sister’s birthday along with few other pastries. The pasties are buttery and their filling tasted great without being overly sweet. My mom is picky but she asked me to buy more next time. The chiffon cake was not as good. Even though the decoration was really eye catching. There was too much cream and the cake — which is very light(a good point) — but too dry. Would I come back? Yes. Chiffon cake? Probably not.

I like Paris Baguette! It’s close to a client’s home so I can come in for breakfast to get a quick bite. I usually come in for some Green Tea Pastry, Sausage Pastry(I actually don’t know what it’s called but it has sausage in it) and some Strawberry Cake. Their Asian-inspired lattes are good too! Grab a Green Tea Latte or an Azuki Latte and you’ll be pleased! They are delicious, quick, and taste like the real deal. Also, if you want to get some baguettes it does take about 6 minutes to bake as it’s made fresh, so be prepared to wait. Please ask for a points rewards card if you plan on coming often!

This place is located near Kaju tofu, so when I go to Kaju, I sometimes stop by here if I have a sweet tooth craving to get that itch scratched. I had a slice of their strawberry cake here, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. It was very good, the frosting had a pleasant, almost creamy texture to it that was sweet, but also light, and not too overbearing with creaminess or sweetness. The cake itself tasted great and smelt lovely too. Overall a great piece of cake!

Atmosphere: Casual. Favorite Item: Strawberry cronut, a mix between a croissant and a donut with fresh strawberries and cream filling. Paris Baguette is really such a delicious pastry shop. I love going to bakery shops that you can try a little bit of everything so you can get the full experience, so it was nice that they offered samples. I didn’t order a cake but their cakes looked beautiful and I overheard that they are made fresh daily with most of their pastries.

This is my favorite U.S./So Cal Paris Baguette that I’ve been to thus far! It’s the closest to the Paris Baguettes I experienced in Seoul, Korea. This is a French-inspired Korean bakery of the franchise variety. What that means is a Korean take on French desserts and pastries, so you won’t find Korean sweet potato cakes or beignets here. What you will find are sweet and savory pastry offerings, light and fluffy cakes that aren’t overwhelming sweet or sugary, deli style sandwiches, and acceptable-although-not-the-greatest coffee, plus a few other things like dainty glass jars of pudding and macarons. My favorite that I always get is the strawberry pastry, which is only $ 2.25. The creamy custard is light, the strawberries are sweet, and the pastry has a flaky crisp to it. Also similar are the fruit tarts and fruit bites. They also have cronuts, and sometimes special cronuts like strawberry or blueberry, but I found their regular cronut to be too greasy for my stomach(but my friend loved it). Their savory pastries include items such as hot dog pastries and fried curry buns but those are also too greasy for my liking, so I stick with their sweets. Their cakes are nicely decorated and I like them because they’re not too sugary, but at about $ 30-$ 35 they are overpriced in my mind. However, I sometimes indulge and get a $ 4 slice. I recommend the blueberry yogurt cake. It’s tucked in the corner of the same plaza as Hmart and usually has plenty of seats and tables for anyone to just relax and enjoy.
