This place is dangerously cute overload. I hadn’t been in a few years and I popped in after picking up a birthday cake from PB. Same sweet shopkeeper man and attentive customer service. They have a bigger selection of plush dolls and plush food toys from what I remember. I bought some pens for work this time but I’ll definitely be coming back again soon.

It is a simply cute store filled of random cute stuff. They have all sorts of things from plushies, stationary, accessories, decorations, etc. It’s a small store, but has quite a variety of things. Personally, I think that some of the things are over priced, but sometimes i still find myself buying them. The plaza that it is in has a market, a bakery, and plenty of restaurants.

It’s pretty expensive here! The items are really cute though. I really love the cashier, which was an old man. He was really kind and he wrapped my gift for me! He’s Korean, so that’s a bonus. He even talked Korean to me, when I told him I knew a few Korean words, hehe. So the 5 stars rating goes to the friendly cashier!

This is one of the better locations of Morning glory that I’ve been to. I don’t quite like the stickers there, they are just not my type of stickers to like. There are a lot of cute Korean stickers that I see on the internet, but not here. Another Unilocaler said that the pens are cheap and are like 50 cents or something. 50 cents? you mean 20 years ago? The cheapest pens were 1 $ and they were crappy quality. I could have gone to other places to get better 1.50 $ pens than here. Some of the pens are 3 or 5 dollars. wow. When you buy pens, make sure to test it out because I had bought a lot of bad pens. Urgh, I am so mad. They have a decent selection of schedule diaries and they are cute. The journal are cute, but they aren’t the style of what I used to like anymore. There are stuffed animals in the back of the stores and they are cute. Letter writing papers are 5 dollars a pack. They are really cute though, but I can’t justify buying 5 dollar packs when I don’t write letters. I bought that kind of letter writing papers for 1.50 $ about 10 years ago. I wish that store still exists. Well… the letter papers are cute like I said, just expensive. There are random accessory items they sell too and they include colored contacts. I am not sure if they are the eyes enlargement kinds, but I don’t buy cheap contacts because eyes are too important to put cheap stuff there. Overall, they have a decent amount of stuff to check out, just make sure you check the item before you buy. I didn’t ask, but I doubt you can exchange.

Great place for Japanese stationary and gift items. Everyone has a friend who is obsessed with Sanrio/animé/cute things and this is a one-stop shop for all of that. They’ve also got a great selection of pens and stationary for non-japanophiles, so there’s something for everyone.

This place has decent stuff but isn’t the best. I’ve seen better selection, and the prices aren’t marked on everything. I went in to look for planner stickers and the lady helped me. She then proceeded to watch me the entire time I shopped. She didn’t offer to help me either, just watched. It was odd because if you want to watch someone just give good customer service. I wouldn’t be the wiser and I’ll be happy! Although I found my stickers, I can go to Koreatown Los Angeles and find better selection and better customer service. Even if I’m in the area, I won’t be back.

Cutest store ever. My new destination for birthdays and Christmas. Plus the elderly store clerk is friendly.

CUTESTUFF? YES. PENS? YES. Location: Parking is terrible. Watch out for corners because there might be a car waiting there! Interior: Cutesy. You know, kind of like Sanrio. Service: I usually see an elderly man at the register. He’s super nice and wraps my pens nicely. He also gives me recommendations on what pens I should get next(I guess I come here too often, haha!) Products: I love their pens here. I really do. Pens, pens pens! I spend like an hour picking a few before I go home. I’ve been going here for as long as I could remember. They have cute notebooks too. Actually, everything just melts me with their cuteness. Also, their pencil lead is good quality and for a good price($ 0.50 each, I believe? or $ 1?). Still cheaper than the Pentel ones. Other thoughts: Their stuff here are pretty cheap compared to other places that sell similar products.

My friend and I stopped by at Paris Baguette(which is in the same plaza), and decided to check out Morning Glory since we were walking past it. I didn’t expect to buy anything, but I was wrong! This store is definitely cheaper and better than any Sanrio store or store at the Asian Garden Mall(where I usually go to buy my Hello Kitty things). The cashier was super friendly and helpful when I needed help figuring out the price of certain items. Unlike Sanrio stores, this place is a lot more unique and also carries tons of other cute stationary that Hello Kitty lovers would adore! I got a cat notebook for myself(it was unlike any other one I’ve ever seen at a stationary store before), and some birthday gifts for my friend. The cashier was happy to wrap the presents for me free of charge and even let me choose the wrapping paper. I would highly recommend coming here next time you want to pick out a unique gift or need some Hello Kitty-esque things :)

If you like sanrio you will probably like this store, although I think sanrio is more based on animals and morning glory is more random xD I saw these hanging bakery roll plush things they were so cute! Prices were decent. I wish the memo pads were a bit cheaper. but the pencil cases I saw some for 2 dollars(even though they were thin)!! and alot of variety too.

I’ve been going to various morning glory stores and this one is actually a relocation of a previous store in garden grove. The owner, who also owns the one in fullerton, is such a nice man. I remember going into his store as a kid and he’s always so helpful and I always leave happy. He wasn’t at this store at the time of my visit, but the shop girl was just as friendly. She wrapped my gifts and I left especially happy. This place is filled with super cute stuff too. One of a kind cards, notebooks, and I always come here for pens and erasers with some humor and flair. My mom loves this place too, which says a lot!:)
