Terrible food and a dirty restaurant. Its no wonder they closed.

They need to tone down the sodium otherwise they’ll stay closed for good. They should up the sugar & spice while toning down the MSG, saturated and trans-fat.

Lunch Special Huge Portion! Drinks + eggroll/soup + fortune cookie No Msg Food is pretty good. I’m sad that this place is closed down. Hope this place pops up at another location, less hidden.

As of 2÷25÷15 this place seems to have closed down unfortunate… there are no appliances, staff, chairs, etc… real shame considering how amazing their deals were for food. $ 5 got you a full plate, regardless hopefully this is only temporary and perhaps the mom-and-pop Chinese restaurant will return possibly?

Is this place for real? I just drove by here and no one is there?! No people, no appliances, just the sign and emptiness. I am for sure I got the right place too, did business just clean up really well? It looked so vacant inside so I didn’t go in. If I’m wrong show me proof please and I will try again tomorrow.

Place is basically hidden… wouldn’t notice it unless you really pay attention to this side of the street. It’s next to the piano place and behind Mimi’s café. Small place, but they do have a good amount of tables for you to sit at. Food looked like it has been sitting there for awhile since it seemed a little dried out, but it actually tasted pretty good. What we got: Combo 2: Jalapeño Chicken and Orange Chicken($ 5.50): jalapeño chicken was spicy! Definitely a good kind of spicy though. Orange chicken wasn’t too crunchy and wasn’t all batter with a small piece of chicken inside. Got all chow mein which could have been better. Comes with a side of egg drop soup too! Soup lacked flavor though. Combo 2: Sweet and Sour Chicken & Orange Chicken($ 5.50): sweet and sour chicken was good too, but orange chicken was definitely better. Service: When we came in the lady was eating at a table facing away from the counter. She didn’t even notice that we were there until my BF ‘coughed’ to make her notice us. She apologized and helped us right away. Good and cheap Chinese food, but definitely not a good location.

This place is alright, nothing spectacular. Different taste than most Chinese places and not in a good way. Portions the lady gives are small compared to other fast food Chinese places. I would Compare their portions to that of Panda Express. Put it this way… you could finish everything on ur plate easily. Unlike Other places where you have enough left over for lunch the next day. I come here for lunch at times mainly because it’s the closest to my work. I rather go to the Hong Kong Express on Beach by the 405 but it’s miles away. Food is fresher and tastier and best of all those ladies don’t eff around and pile it on! So much food you can’t even close the lid. But enough about them, back to this place. I would give this place only 2.5 stars but Unilocal doesn’t allow that and this place does have tasty Cream cheese won tongs… so 3 stars it is. Word of advice, be careful asking the lady for extra Siracha hot sauce instead of their signature hot sauce they’ve got pre packaged, this lady is tight with that isssh and will give you the Stink eye! Peace my Peeps!

Really awesome joint. The price and quality correspond perfectly. Their $ 5 lunch deal can feed two people(unless you’re fat monsters)! Their orange chicken is good. The old Chinese food place I went to charged about $ 8 for less food. Thanks Panda Home :)

Yes its fast Chinese but they have provably the best Orange Chicken. At Panda Home they load it up with large pieces of chicken perfectly glazed. Plus you’ll get rice and chow mien for under $ 5. Well worth the drive and stopping.

I come here for the soups. Nothing spectacular but good. Someday I shall dive into there combo options. This is a fast food place where you choose the rice and/or chow mein sides and then pick from the chafing dishes but they also do ala carte choices as well.

As what Nam B said, whatever chinese food. I came here because of the lunch special and I heard the orange chicken was good. Lunch special is cheap and fulfilling, but you get what you pay for. Free egg roll was pretty bad. Same goes for the fried wonton, 3 for .99, you get what you pay for. Will not be coming back what so ever. No msg? My throat was a bit dry after eating the orange chicken… just saying

Decided to give this place a try after leaving another place that was cash only. Good thing! This is our new go to. Cheap and yummy! Free egg roll or small soup with every combo. Delicious hot and sour soup! If you want some cheap food for less than 6 bucks come here!

Whatever Chinese fast food. There’s no use of MSG. This place is easily missed from the street.

Orange chicken was excellent. Teriyaki chicken was tasty. Fried rice was a bit dry but overall price for quantity and quality of food was great! Lunch special is a good deal.
Good food. Good prices. Only complaint are the homeless tweakers hanging in and around this place all day long. One sketcher was«shooting up» right outside the front door!

So occasionally I get a craving for greasy cheap Chinese food, the half fried rice half chow mein type, and most of the time I run to panda express to get my fix. After discovering this place, panda express will no longer be my first choice when the craving hits. 4.99 for a very generous serving of chow mein, fried rice, orange chicken and vegetables(includes a drink) is way cheaper than anything I ever get anywhere else. On top of that the food was pretty yummy(didn’t have that old oil taste) and the very friendly lady behind the counter piled on the food as if she never wanted me to be hungry again! Overall, good experience. I will be back. :)

Love all the food especially the chow mein, and egg drop soup! Except when it’s not there like tonight… Only reason for 4 stars is no soup tonight and wish they had better Kung Pao

Previously in this location was the«Tasty Wok Express» Great Prices. CLOSETO22FREEWAY&BEACHEXIT No MSG. No MSG, makes the food a little bland — but safe. Employees are Chinese so listen carefully. Generous portions. I visit at least once a week. A special note. They keep a minimum amount of food on the steam table. Often I have to wait a few minutes for a freshly made dish. This assures that the food is fresh. Bathroom is always clean.
