Came here after work the other night, it was a pretty full house. There were 2 waitresses in the front but they didn’t greet us or seat us. So we sat ourselves in the back. Our waitress peeked over and saw us, she appeared obviously irritated. She waited a few minutes then finally walked over. She didn’t try to hide the fact that she didn’t want our table. Which is why she didn’t get a tip. Haha She came over and didn’t greet us, just gave us menus and proceeded to try take our order upon arrival. Chill homegirl, we just got here. We ordered the drinks, btw, the bootleggers pale ale is mighty fine. They offer Stella in 38oz. The Pinot Noir comes in a teeny cup. And I heard it’s not the best. I’m giving 5 stars because the atmosphere, prices and MY pizza were PERFECT. The crust was solid but not hard, cheese melted and the sauce is very light but hearty. Toppings were pepperoni, ham and pineapple. My hubby likes pork. I ate mine with just pineapple. The salad isn’t your generic iceberg but comes with spinach, which is nice. Our waitress was wack but she didn’t matter. The ambiance is inviting but mellow, you definitely don’t want to rush the meal. Red lighting sets the mood right. It was a nice night of laughing and really, really good food. I want to come back and try their pasta and raviolis. Maybe I’ll just take our order myself next time. LOL.

If I could, No stars. Couldn’t even finish my order without being put on hold 3 times. While I was on hold the 3rd time the call ended. Tried to call back no answer. Wouldn’t recommend delivery

It’s a little mom n pop place. The sandwiches are definitely good. Pizza bread is bomb and the ravioli. Not sure about the pizza never ordered a whole pizza. Been eating at this place for about ten years and it’s one of my favorite places in that area

So, I’m at work, and the boss says to order pizza. Instead of calling Dominos, Or Pizza Hut, I’m a family man and I like to support mom-n-pop type shops. After seeing their great Unilocal reviews, we placed an order. Food looked great from the pictures, and the reviews made me feel like it was a nice place to check out. Their delivery time was an estimated 55min wait. After placing the order and noticing how long it would take, I tried contacting the place numerous times to place a pick-up time in order to speed along the process. After calling 10x with no one answering, I’m done. UPDATE: So the food showed up 20min later then the 55min estimated wait time. Pizza was good, but there was something going on with the garlic bread & spaghetti sauce. It made me break out with allergies that I’ve never had. My throat swelled up, tongue started stinging, to the point where I couldn’t even swallow my own saliva for a while. If you dine in, you might have a different experience. Until then my opinion stands as is, DON’T ORDERDERLIVERYFROMTHISPLACE!

Their ribs are absurd. Like really, the meat is so good that you have to eat it with a fork because it literally falls off the bone when you try to bring it to your mouth. It’s so good I forget to take a picture every time because I’m too busy eating. Plus it’s super cheap.

Ten years ago I found a flyer for this place on my apt door, glad I gave them a try. Always great to talk to when I call in my pizza for delivery. Talk about fillin. Damn good pizza. Hope they never close. I take this place over the chain places any day. Just the other day when my pizza was delivered I opened the door to see a nicely dressed older man(slacks, polo shirt). My guess possibly the owner? I mentioned how I had just realized I had been getting my pizza for ten years from them. He chuckled and said they had been there 20 years. I thanked him for the good food and service and said that I hope they never change how the make food(as places often go down hill) or close up show. Such a nice fella. Great little place!

Had a craving for baby back ribs at 11:30 at night… So glad this place was open! I would have posted a photo but I devoured the whole thing the minute it arrived. Delivery was quicker than Dominos, and the food was great! The ribs were a little over sauced but the garlic bread was good. You better have detailed directions right to your front door though, because you might be called by the delivery guy!

We ordered the 2 medium pizzas with one topping for $ 18.95. We got the pizza after like 30 minutes and it was highly disappointing. Our pizza was frozen. And it was just disgusting. Not only was the pizza gross, but it came out expensive. It came out to be $ 22.45. We gave the driver a tip and he came back asking for more. So we ended up giving him $ 30 instead of the original price. Don’t go here or order anything from here. Bad experience.

I ordered delivery from the Super 8 motel to room. The service was fast and the food was ok. It was nothing memorable but it was edible. Overall, not my first choice, but not my last either.

Wow. Beware!!! Worst place ever!!! We ordered from the hotel, Driver came right into our room(door was open). Sat the pizza down. Thankfully we saw him right away. Then we paid. Driver then demanded a tip!!! He received 2 $ then asked for a 5! We told him no and that our family member in the next room over would probably home him a couple more $. He then went over to her room next door and she paid by the time I got out there to see what was happening he had gave her 12 $ back from 40 $ her food was only 23 $. She was asking for the rest of her change. He said no tip. Tip tip. And kept telling her. I made him give her all of her change and I closed her door for her. He then threw his box on the floor and I told him that he better gtfo of here and he started kicking his drink box all the way back to the elevator. Went down to his car slammed his trunk and took off. DONOTEVERORDERFROMHERE! That was bananas.

I tried this place last night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. I had some time to kill before a meeting and was looking for a pizza joint when I saw the House of Pizza in a small strip mall. I was a little put off at first by the appearance of the place. It looks like the place was opened in the 70’s by the décor, which has apparently has not been updated since. Lots of old, fake wood paneling and very tired looking furniture. That was the only negative and I was not eating there so I did not care. Also I don’t want to mislead people about my appearance comments; the place was very clean, just old in appearance. It looks like a mom and pop operation with mom manning the counter and pop in charge of the kitchen. I ordered a pizza to go from mom, who was very friendly. The pizza was ready in 15 minutes as promised. The pizza was perfect by my definition(everyone has their own taste in pizza). First of all they cook the pizza properly in a real pizza oven, not on a conveyor belt contraption like the chains use. The crust is medium thickness and has a light crisp to it, which I like. The House of Pizza tops their crust with a good amount of tasty, zesty sauce unlike the chain pizzas with their bland, almost nonexistent sauce. In addition to the sauce they give you a decent amount of cheese and other toppings. All in all I was very pleased and totally satisfied. I give the House of Pizza 4.5 stars overall: Food = 5 Stars Service = 5 Stars Appearance/Atmosphere = 3 Stars(This is OK because you are not eating the furniture and paneling) I will definitely return here for more when I visit the area again.

I ordered this to my room while staying in disneyland because it was advertised on my key. The man on the other end of the phone could barely speak English and it took me a few tries to order. When they delivered, I gave a tip but the driver was very confused by this and thought I was not giving him enough money and started arguing with me until he either just left or realized I gave him enough, i’m not sure which because he just turned around and walked away. The pizza was sub-par and not worth what we paid. I will definitely not be ordering here next time I am in the area.

I can’t even begin to explain the situation that occurred with the owner and the driver. My girlfriend had placed an order over the phone where she gave a woman the credit card number. When the driver arrived he asked for cash, we said we do not have cash and that we’d like to pay with a card. The driver asked that we speak with the owner and give them our card number. My girlfriend called and said she’d like to pay for the delivery we just received with our credit card and that she gave the lady her card originally. He stated my girlfriend was a liar, that it was too late and to return the food.(I, Robert, ended up eating the garlic bread and the driver was yelling at me to pay the $ 2 for the garlic bread). There was a lack of communication between the driver and the owner because the driver was friendly at first… After I told him I will not be paying for the garlic bread because of the situation that we ran into. As he was walking to his car, continually giving me his middle finger, he threw the Styrofoam cup full of soda on our lawn. I called and asked to speak with the owner in a very professional way and he simply responded with«what do you want?» as well as telling me my girlfriend was a liar. The moral of the story here is that you shouldn’t be purchasing food from this location. The Haus of Pizza on Harbor is a much better place and the owner is very friendly(at least the guy who answers the phone).

I was in town and suddenly had cravings for Italian food. I ordered the Eggplant Parmisian and was completely blown away by the sauce. The tomatoe sauce was very tasty and tangy. I had it with garlic bread and it was just the perfect meal! Service was awesome! It’s a mom-pop kinda restaurant and everyone there was so nice.

If you are like me, that is a person with high cholesterol, you should avoid pizza! However… if you find the need to make that one exception, then I would definitely recommend coming here. Its local and its good. We should all support small business and why not this place. It has all the trappings of what pizza places used to be like; charming, personal, and homey(not sure that is a word). Anyways, happy eating… …and as a side note, if you get prescriptions at any pharmacy, please have the courtesy to call them ahead of time. Thank you!

If you are looking for a great mom-and-pop Italian restaurant, you definitely have to try the House of Pizza. It’s conveniently located near Disneyland and they deliver too. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! I really recommend: — The fresh pizza, they use quality ingredients and mozzarella cheese :) — The garlic bread is sooo good. They make their own spread and it’s amazing — The chicken is crispy and tender, love it. — The pastrami sandwich is my favorite! It’s toasted and has such great flavor I’ve been going here for years, and there are so many good things to try on the menu. It’s a quaint family owned business, and they put a lot love and care into the food. Hope you enjoy!

My family and I were staying at a hotel in Anaheim that I guess has some type of advertising deal with this place — it was advertised on the hotel’s key cards and fliers were left in the room. We decided to order some food from here after a long day at Disneyland. We ordered one of their specials which featured pizza, a «bucket» of spaghetti, garlic bread, and a salad. The pizza was the best of the group. Not the best pizza ever and the crust was a little burnt but not bad overall. The spaghetti was bland but edible. For the price it was a good deal but I’d just get the pizza next time.

I had this delivered to my hotel after a tiring but magical day at Disneyland. It was $ 23 for a large 2topping pizza, spaghetti, garlic bread, 2 sodas, and a salad. The pizza was actually surprisingly edible. The sauce and dough weren’t bad, but the crust was towards the cardboard side. It does the job, not exceptional. Spaghetti was gross, pretty much flavorless bland cafeteria style. Garlic bread was a joke. The«salad» was just a handful of iceberg and a few slices of carrot??? We only finished the pizza. You might as well get Little Ceasers, which is something I would never do, but alas I’m on a Disneyland trip and I can’t expect much.
