Hello everyone, I ate here about a month ago and I’m in the parking lot of this place waiting so I decided to write a simple review. Yes the pizza is good despite what the place looks like. My gf is picky and she really liked it. Especially for the price. I believe I got a half pepperoni half Hawaiian and it was less than $ 10 I’m sure. Only thing is don’t think that the owner is rude. That’s just the way he is. He’s definitely not a young enthusiastic teenager like you would find at Pizza Hut but I would still eat here again.

I know it seems like this place is a risk because it only has 22 reviews but it is definitely worth the while. This small little family business is one of the best pizza places I have ever eaten at. The pizza is so cheap yet extravagant. The ambiance is a little old but the quality of the pizza is delicious. This business needs more customers !!!

I’ve been here once and I fell in love with this mom and pop shop. I got a cheap pizza(I mean $ 8.70 for a large with 3 toppings and extra sauce. How can u beat that!!! You can feed your whole family for under $ 10) it was very good. They are not stingy with their toppings either. I just love how this old couple is making their pizzas together, they’re an independent small business, show your support and have a nice slice of pizza! They don’t compare to the larger chain of pizza stores, but I’d go with their prices and shop any day. I know their prices are really cheap and that’s what everyone wants but sometimes I just wish they’d raise their prices for themselves. They deserve it. I even leave my change because it’s totally worth it

f*ck this place, never going back. their product is good, and so are their prices. unfortunately the owner/operator can’t quote an accurate time if his life depended on it. everyone i know that orders take-out from this place has the same experience — «20minutes» for the initial quoted time. you get there, «10 more minutes» and he still hasn’t put anything in the oven. i left without my calzone or paying after an hour had elapsed since I called to order. you may be wondering how a can calzone take more than an hour to cook when the restaurant is empty? i’d attribute it largely to a not giving a f*ck attitude. i can understand indifference — my favorite restaurant is Peking Restaurant down on Westminster, where all of the waitresses will give you the ‘what you want?’ attitude if you’re not familiar with them. i’m tempted to say that i like indifference and hole-in-the-walls, it’s a legit real-world experience. but just like those same chinese waitresses, my expectation is to have enough respect to at least keep it honest and deliver when you say you will, instead of treating other people’s time like it’s less important than your own.

They should charge more. This is an independent pizza place trying hard to make it. They make good pizza at a price that is too low. I want to see them succeed so I hope they raise their prices. The actual store is run down — proof that they need to raise their prices, so I would plan on ordering to go. I’ve only had the pizza so I can’t comment on the other things they serve.

I’ve been going here for years. Good stop for cheap but good tasting slice of pizza. Mom and pop place where the kids grew up and now helping out. They have upgraded from their old tv to a new one awhile now. The place looks ok but for the price of their food, you can’t really complain about the place. I’ve seen businesses closed because of the hard economy. For $ 1 slice of pizza, it’s a good place to drop by and grab a slice or a few and not worry about leftovers :). I just hope they don’t close.

Best hole in the wall pizza joint in Orange County. Been eating here for years. The owner is very nice and his pizza is to die for. My favorite, large pepperoni with extra cheese. They use the best cheeses.

Had to update my review, it’s still good if I’m still coming here for 3 years like once a week. I work pretty close by so it’s a great place to just grab a slice or two for only a dollar! I would only recommend the pizza and calzones… Sometimes I order a whole pizza on the way home to eat, prices are great. Like a lot of the other reviews, the owner might seem like he would give you bad service but he just doesn’t talk much. It’s a hole in the wall but if the pizza is good then I can’t really knock off any points for that.

I was looking for a calzone close to work, and Unilocal guided me here. This place is really great for what it is — a neighborhood pizza place. It’s the kind of store that has almost disappeared with the arrival of chain pizzas, demographic change and more upscale tastes. Harbor Pizza is a hole-in-the-wall storefront in a strip mall — it’s wedged between a Vietnamese pool hall and a tattoo studio. And it looks like nothing has changed here in 20 – 25 years. The tables and chairs are worn, the video games are nearly vintage, and even the menu board on the wall has yellowed. But the best news is that prices are also unchanged over the past 20 years! My calzone was just $ 5 and could easily feed two. The calzone was well cooked in the slightly doughy style of neighborhood pizza places with generous topping/fillings. The ingredients were good and the food prep area looked clean and up to date. This is worth adding to your rotation

I must say, hole in the wall! Don and I’m assuming his wife are amazing! Place is not so great looking, but the food is good, especially the price! My fave is the calzones!!! It’s huge and can feed 2 – 3 people all for $ 6 and I think unlimited toppings plus side of ranch!!! Harbor Pizza just earned a weekly, lifetime customer!!! There goes my 6 pack!!! Thanks guys!

This is place AWESOME! It’s the best mom and pop joint for pizza that I have ever tasted. My fiancé says its a bit on the doughy side, but it doesn’t turn him off. The guy owner is… not chatty and has no social skills really. We try to talk to him and he basically just grunts. Hahaha. But thats ok. He’s earned the right to not say much bc his pizzas and calzones are so good. They also make great left overs. I normally like places with friendly owners, but bc this pizza is so good that I’ll let it slide. Less talk, more eating right? Prices are just as good. One time he messed up on an order and he gave us the pizza like half off. So we end up getting a Large pizza(1topping) and a calzone for like $ 10. Just bc all he does is grunt, doesn’t mean he’s not unreasonable. We order pizza here at least every week… maybe every other. Yum yum. I think we’ll order tonight!

Don’t come here! You’ll just end up regretting you ever stepped foot in this depressing pizza place. I was expecting the pizza by the slice to be in an enclosed space, turns out it was on top of a metal chassis(case) and a warm lamp(that looked like a desk lamp) was keeping it warm. My immediate reaction was WTF. Soda machine was so unsanitary(dripping, sticky, and dusty). Look through the other reviews. I’m no the only one who says this place is depressing. The TVs were giving me a headache — two of them the same channel but one with a slight delay gave a discomforting audible reverb that usually is used to torture prisoners. I took a few bites of my dried out plastic pizza and got out of dodge. Never looked back. Don’t come here!

I don’t know if anyone knows this is a family business. I try not to complain about the service because he works with two very young kids when they get out of school and his wife who’s rarely there, most of the time he’s by himself. Unsanitary atmosphere, this place is pretty depressing lol. Haven’t tried other options on the menu, its cheap but what you pay is what you get. The pizza is pretty good though for its low price, just very slow service.

The pizza is pretty cheap and decent to boot, but the service and delivery times are God-awful; expect to wait upwards to about an hour(even if all you ordered was a sandwich, chips and a soda). Everything else this place offers is pretty darn terrible; the sandwiches are tasteless and drab, typically drowned in oil and vinegar, with bread as hard as wood. Avoid.

OMG. I went in and ordered a small pasta dish at 645pm. I was still waiting at 735pm and the place had no customers when I got there. The taste of the food very average. Terrible service unless you need to kill an hour sitting around take your business elsewhere…

Some of the reviews here are spot on. I live less than 1.5 miles away and wanted to have some pizza delivered, but this guy insists the location is too far and wouldn’t deliver. The guy that picks up is extremely rude and gives you an attitude instantly(also extreme language barrier, something i can overlook if you have a positive attitude) He doesn’t want to waste time trying to attain your business, so i suggest you don’t give it to him

I just called this place, which is 2 miles away, the guy was not very friendly who answered the phone, then when I explained where I lived said that was too far to deliver. If 2 miles is too far maybe you should not have delivery as an option. Would have loved to try this place to bad… I will take my business else where.

Love this place. The owner has an indifferent personality but they are a nice mom and pop place that makes great food for cheap. Why patronize the corporate chains when this stuff is so good? Five bucks for a giant calzone with two ingredients and $ 2.69 for the oven baked sub sandwiches. I always buy two for that price and they are good! Subway has nothing on this place! Love the italian sub and the pasta(spaghetti and meatballs) is not bad either for five bucks, including garlic bread and salad with all the trimmings. Don’t let the ghetto environment fool you. You get more than you pay for here.

Owned by some Indian dude i think? No that it matters but hey I’m just saying. One of the cool things is this place sells single slices for $ 1 pretty much all day! I go their when i’m lazy and don’t feel like cooking which is like 3 times a week! ;) A large 1 topping is like 6 bucks. I go there so much he doesn’t even charge me tax anymore! sometimes he’ll hook you up, if you get say 3 lrg 1 topping pizza’s he’s given it to me for like $ 15! Cheese is extra thick, but not especially gooey. Can be greasy depending on toppings. Jalapenos are freakin hot! Has a nice thick dense crust. Best fresh out oven. once it starts too cool the cheese hardens to quick. and when you bite all the cheese is like one big lump! Good with Valentina Hot Sauce. or Sriracha. He’s kinda stingy though with the Pepper & parmesan. So be sure to ask for extra if u want. Also has other stuff like pastas and salads and what not. Couple video games, a TV. Newspaper sitting around. And Free internet if ur that bored. And hey if you don’t like it. there’s a Mcdonald’s across the parking loT! Enjoy!
