Get past the wrinkle linens and the food is pretty good. Where can you find tom rang me that taste good, good proportions and what only $ 7 bucks! The bo tieu was good also, again $ 7! And I’ve been looking for a good Banh mi ga, I found my spot. Shredded seasoned chicken and comes with tomatoes, ahhhhhhh brings me back to childhood memories. Memories of a forgotten Song Long bakery that is now Tasty Gardens. Will definitely come back for com gia dinh to order more family style dishes.

The only thing I tried was their banh mi ga, Vietnamese chicken sandwich. And OMG, best chicken banh mi I have ever ever ever tasted! No wonder their name is Ga Bistro. The bread was round and fluffy with excellent texture. None of that hard as a rock baguette that cuts the roof of your mouth. And the filling… So freaking delicious! The chicken was tender and moist, with lots of flavor. And the spread they include provides the perfect bite. Filled with pickled carrots and daikon, cucumbers, and garnished with cilantro. YUM ! I had a second sandwich that was eaten hours later and it was still excellent. Warmed up and toasted for less than a minute tasted even better. Looks like they have cheap lunch specials for $ 6 too.

Think Vietnamese foods that all fry! If that what you like then this is the place for you to go. I prefer to taste my food with less oil and grease and not all fried. The waitress was very nice but they do need to hire more help because she was waiting us and like 5 other tables which is the whole resturant lol.

THISPLACEUSEDTOBEKIMRESTAURANT. THEYJUSTCHANGEDTHEIRNAME! Definitely a big improvement on their food from when they were Kim Restaurant though. Now they have«tapas» … it’s like mini dishes that are made to share. They accommodated my party of 30−40ish people for a party pretty okay. We took up a little more than half the restaurant. My only complaint is that they kept running out of food for us. We reserved early, so I would think they’d prepare for a big party! We ordered the chicken wings– both tamarind and nuoc mam(fish sauce), I have to admit, they were really good! I think it’s lunch truck chicken wings(if y’all know what that is) mixed with their sauce. It’s an easy way out, but the combo is good! The chicken was super moist and my party ate it all up! We tried to order more, but they ran out! DONOTORDERTHEPOPCORNSHRIMP!!! There’s literally 10 popcorn shrimp in there… and it’s only pieces of shrimp. We had only 1 whole shrimp in an order– and we ordered 3 of them. It’s a total rip off. Sweet potato cajun fries– loved them. They were really good… but they also ran out of these so the kids were pretty disappointed. We ordered the«deep fried salt and pepper squid». we thought it was going to be calamari, but its not. It’s literally pieces of squid deep fried. I’d pass on this one… it was soggy when it came out. Deep fried food should be crispy. Salt and pepper deep fried tofu. also came out soggy and not crispy enough. I’m not sure how they deep fried it, but it wasn’t good. Bap xao(stir fried corn). I actually really liked this dish because I LOVE corn! But most other people at the table disagreed with me because they thought it was too fishy and that there were too many small tiny baby shrimps in there. Mien xao cua(crab vermicelli) — it’s not really vermicelli, it’s more like bean thread noodles. which are super thin, clear noodles with crab. It was just okay to me. Nothing memorable. Com bo luc lac(cubes of beef with rice). This dish was okay. Not the best I’ve ever had. The rice comes out in a bowl separate from the plate of beef cubes. The beef cubes lay on a bed of fried onions, lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber. Mango salad with grilled shrimp squid(goi) — this dish was pretty decent. Lots of squid! And the shrimp was delicious Ga Bistro is an average restaurant if you’re looking for a quick dinner. They also serve grilled fish and hot pot if you’re into that type of stuff. The service is mediocre, but they try to be really accommodating. 3.5 stars

Came here for lunch and there were about 4 other customers in the restaurant and one server. So at first, I wasn’t sure if the food would be good, but I’m glad I stayed. They have breakfast and lunch specials. The breakfast specials are all under $ 5 and vary from banh mi to entrees. Lunch specials are $ 6 and under and after hours are $ 1 extra. I got the banh mi ga, which was delicious for $ 3. The chicken was tender, the pesto was a great addition, and then there were the typical banh mi fixings. Comes out in a round banh mi. While I was sitting there, I noticed A LOT of to go orders for the banh mi and they even have a $ 5 special where you get coffee with it. Next, I got the bo tieu(peppered beef) and special fried rice. The fried rice was alright, it’s fried so the rice doesn’t turn yellow from the egg and had random meats.

We loved their fried calamari and the green sauce however, disappointed with the mango salad. Their special chicken(Ga len man) is ok. They served the main dish before our salad so by the time we get to the chicken dish, the rice was kind of cold. Their serve wine($ 5.99 per glass) and beer($ 2.00 per bottle). It was pretty busy on Sat night with a few large group. They only had two servers in the front so these two girls were working hard and provided good services. The price is okay and plenty of parking.

Yummm! Had dinner at Ga Bistro tonight and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered two of their house special items, their«Nuoc Mam» Chicken Wings and their«Ga Mam» chicken dish. The chicken wings were super savory and crispy and is such a great deal at only $ 5. I actually ordered one order, took a bite and immediately placed another order because I didn’t feel like sharing my wings! Their«Ga Mam» chicken dish is huge and definitely great for sharing. This dish offers half a boiled chicken, rice, and little tidbits on the plate which were all really good and a really good deal considering the portion. Their menu in general specializes in chicken dishes of all sorts, but also offer other dishes for those that don’t feel like eating chicken. Service was good, quick, and most importantly the restaurant was very clean. Overall I really liked this place and will definitely be back. The table near us ordered the lobster and it looked and smelled amazing so I will be trying that next time!

Came back second time. Ambience and service still nice. Took longer than expected for food to come, considering we were first customers that day. Here was reason: appetizer and entrées served at same time. Appetizer should’ve been served first then entrée. This mattered because when entrée came out hot, I rushed eating appetizer because I didn’t want my entrée to cool. Hubby ordered rice in clay pot, and rice was mushy/soft.
