Continental Custom Jewelry Coin & Pawn

After having driven by here for years, I finally remembered to check them out when I had several watches that needed new batteries. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted by somebody who said that I would be helped in a minute. I waited for a few minutes conversing with some other clients were also having watches fixed. One lady was also having her ring dipped from gold to white gold and it looked stunning! I felt compelled to write a review since my search for watch repair did not yield Continental. This is a shame because they did it swiftly and only charges five dollars for each of the four watches I was having batteries installed on. It’s only six dollars per watch for less than four watches. That’s a heck of a deal in my opinion in this day and age. While I was in there, the gentleman helping me also adjusted a band for me and repaired a watchband pin. After seeing that they had an in-​house jeweler, I asked about resizing my wedding ring which has always been a bit undersized. They took a look at it and said it would be possible for just $ 30. Again, I was blown away by the reasonable pricing. I’m happy to report that I picked up my ring today if it’s like it always should have it looks beautiful after the show ended up forming. I am going to tell anybody and everybody about this place. It was a great experience for me the only reason I did not give a five-​star review was that I left a watch with them yesterday so they could get pricing to replace the bezel. They said they would call me back and had not yet before I called to ask about picking up my ring today. I can’t complain too much since my ring was done quickly though. I’m hoping to hear back from them in the next day or two. This was a minor thing and if I could give them a 4 ½ star, I would. Customer service and friendliness was excellent!

It may not look fancy from the outside but don’t let that fool you. The people inside are very friendly and they charge a reasonable price to change watch batteries. It was done in 3 minutes. I will return.

A pretty good selection of jewelry. The displays are organized by type (white gold, yellow gold, silver, etc.) which makes it easy to zero in on what you are looking for. If there are more than 2 customers, service can be a little slow because of limited staff. The marked prices are not what items sell for. Everything is 50% off which makes you do the math for every item you look at. Not sure why hey just don’t mark everything at the sell price to forgo the little game, but I guess some people want a «sale» even if it is meaningless.
If you pay cash, you save a few bucks.
They also have coins for sale, but they seemed overpriced.

My go to place when I need a watch battery. Easy in and always quick, friendly and professional service. Recommend this to all my friends who are in need of watch batteries needing replacing. They also have a large selection of coins and jewelry.
