Cafe Lu Lounge

The waitresses are too busy drinking to serve the customer.
So I go here to eat dinner, but I am pretty much ignored. Ditto the other customers (who eventually got fedup and left). The only person who received service was the guy buying alcohol for the two waitresses, who quickly become wasted and stop working.
It is no wonder this restaurant went bankrupt. No customer will return to a place where he’s sitting with an empty glass, and nobody is filling it… where he wants to order more food, but nobody is taking the order.

Three stars should be enough for his Quan Nhau. Food is alright. The service is alright. Nothing special about this place.

This place sucks. Service is bad!!! The waitresses are lazy and don’t wanna earn their tip. I was there for 25 minutes and they didn’t bother to ask if I wanted another drink. I ended up going next door.

Why are these places always so filled with clouded smoke. Mmmmhhh that second hand tho!!!

Now that I’m around here more often I might just stroll in occasionally and get one of them café sua da, conversate with an Asian female and try not to get stabbed or shot. Oh yeah and smoothies too, avocado smoothies yum!

The grilled quail is the bomb! And the service is awesome. My favorite spot in the OC.

Awesome food, great service, hot chicks. Sports on about 15 screens. I love that the service is so friendly and the girls genuinely talk to you.

Beautiful waitresses that will provide you a great time! Good food and beer is always a plus!

Great food, affordable drinks, beautiful women… I came from NYC to experience this lounge thanks to friends who recommended this place.

My all time favorite place. Only Café that sells alcohol. Has a great menu. Food is great. Coffee great. Awesome Smoothies. And, absolutely gorgeous women with good personalities. A must visit when in Garden Grove, CA. Good place for couples as well. TV’S all over to enjoy all major sporting events. Usually hosts all major fights. A must visit during football season.

Awful, avoid at all cost, unless you’re Vietnamese. In California for a lengthy trip, I visited this place twice because I thought the first visit was a fluke when it came to the «selective» service. My friends and I were polite and respectful, but the service we received was non-​existent. It was very evident that customers who were Vietnamese were getting wonderful service, too bad we did not receive any of the same… not even close. Not bitter, just a bit disappointed because our waitress seemed very friendly, when she interacted with her customers. It’s strange to see tables frequently being visited by the staff and manager while our table had to practically lasso one of the servers for a drink. We would have loved to sample the food, but we never got that far.
Again, I don’t depute any of the positive reviews written about this place, the «selective» folks around us seemed to be having a great time, unfortunately we weren’t of the same nationality.

The cream of the crop of the cafes. Friendly wait staff and amazing service. The only one that serves beer and real food.
I ordered the fries, and they tasted like the boiling crab fries, but less spicy and crispy.
Boss lady (Natalie) made sure we were taken care of, and sat with us for a drank.
Great place overall, like an Asian hooters with better food.

The place had a few patrons, they were well staffed however the service was REALLY horrible, the waitress were busy drinking and serving ONLY the patrons who buying them either shots or beer, and the manager was busy texting on her phone at the podium by the door.
They allow smoking however it took them about 30 minutes before anyone bothered to ask if anyone needed anything at our table after bringing our initial order of coffee.

Visited Café Lu Lounge this past Friday to celebrate a friends birthday.
The servers (waitresses) are really attentive and sweet. One suggested we ordered the beer bucket special (6 beers/​bucket) but it was the same price as a single order of beer. What kind of special is that?
We ordered a seafood chow mein, fried rice, shrimp in plum sauce and an order of balut. Honestly, being in the heart of a Vietnamese community… I expected the food here to be tasty and memorable but nothing phased me. Everything was edible but nothing special.
It’s still a relatively new joint and I’m sure the food will come around eventually.
Overall, good spot to hang and watch sports and BS with friends.
Downfall, smoking is allowed…

This is is a typical nhau place. Came here to watch the world cup. Thought they would be more talkative since I went with two other girls. But they were very attentive so its a good thing. The girls not dress skimpy so you don’t see a lot of creepers.
Beers were reasonably priced ($ 4)
Had the Bo Tai Chanh — honestly this was good, wish they added more meat though. Felt like we got a lot of small tiny bits and only a few larger pieces.
Would come back here with friends just to kick it though. I don’t think their soju would be good as Soju Belly but I’ll try that next time.

Pretty cool spot for catching the game and getting some popular authentic dishes. They serve alcohol (soju, beer, etc…) and non-​alcoholic beverages as well, so a little bit of everything for everyone. I do not recommend bringing your family or kids here (its not a bad place, the environment is not made for family style or kids)
The service: The girl servers are all nice and attentive
Atmosphere: plenty of seating, plenty of tv’s and doesn’t feel all cramped
The food: Had the steak and eggs w/​pâté and bread… sizzling right off the skillet (order it medium rare or it can get over-​cooked)
Overall, great place to hang out with friends and would recommend.

The atomsphere at Café Lu Lounge is awesome. Great food, alcohol, and beautiful women… what else would you ask for? The lounge is open from morning til midnight. The moment you walk in you’ll feel the energy of this place. The girls are friendly and their service is spot on. It’s fun to come with a large group of people and celebrate somebody’s bithday; or just come to hangout with friends.
I came to watch the world cup on a Sunday and ended up staying for an early dinner. I can by myself and several of the girls even took the time to hangout with me in between the games. One recommended that i try their chips and salsa, which is amazing. Their wings (imo) blows away any wings that i’ve tried at hoosters, wing stop, or bufflo wilds. And if you feel like something fancy, their escargot with garlic butter is out of bounds. Just in case you’re worried about drinking in the middle of the day, try the vietnamese iced coffee… it’ll sober you up.
Plus this place is vape friendly… for those of you that are part of the vape family.

typical asian bar/​lounge drinking place. food prices r the same as other asian drinking places.
the girls were nice though. they talked to the guys and were attentive. that’s very important when guys go to these places.
the owner was also very nice and she went around and sat and drank with everybody.

Da bomb café right now! A cross between a Café/​Bar/​Restaurant. This is mainly a drinking, relax, watch TV spot, with hopefully top notch cuisine.
Liquor: Situation is beers 4 $, Soju 10 $, and fruity soju. Example, pineapple soju comes in a hollowed pineapple, 18 $. Glanced at the rest but Dom Perigon available 300 $, Crystal available 450 $.
Mood: Subtle, soft Blue neon glow. Groups of drunk guys could get loud etc. But for the most part people were cool. There were some women with groups and not a problem.
M.O.: You go there, Eat Drink and be Merry then leave. This is not a «park it for the night place» Sooner or later the game will be over, the money will be gone, or you’ll have other places to be.
DJ– chillin in background not overpowering.

Numerous staff of girls, I’m guessing they pool tips but keep side tips. This is not a Bikini or lingerie place, but that doesn’t mean I don’t wish it was.
They’re in a soft opening with a Grand opening to follow.
