I went to eat at this place today. The waitress were nice and friendly. The thing I didn’t like was the smoking by some customers. There is also a do it yourself karaōke but without the lyric to guide you, so basically some customers did karaōke to destroy my ear drums. The music here is a good mix of trance and hip hop. It’s quiet enough to talk except when someone is doing their horrendous karaōke. The food here is mediocre at best. I like the«oc huong» here. The price here is about 8 to 12 for most dishes. I just check my cleared transaction and this place charge me 26 dollar tip for an 68 dollar meal even though I specifically wrote 7 for the tip. Beware of using your card here. I got my 19 dollar in cash back when I show them my receipt and they apologize profusely.

I was not planning on going to this place. My bf and I were actually looking for Oki Doki and were surprised when we saw that it was replaced with Dzui. Since I like to try new things, I said why not try it. We were greeted with a dolled-up waitress who’s first words were«are you looking for oki doki». I guess we weren’t the only disappointed people. The place still looks the same as before, just a few minor adjustments. Instead of a younger looking crowd, you will find a group of OLD perverted men drinking and flirting with the waitress. Mind you, we went to this place around 3pm so I guess we didn’t expect anything. They had a special going on, $ 3 beers and get a free appetizer, which was a yummy papaya salad. It wasn’t the greatest but it is was delightful. We also got the appetizer combo which was just a variation of fried seafoods. For the price, around $ 12, it wasn’t too bad and came with a lot of food. We were actually full just off of the appetizers so we just kept it at that. A big no-no for me was the fact they had«no smoking» signs everywhere but it was as if they did not exist. We aren’t in Vegas, its sorta illegal to be smoking inside restaurants. Despite the pervey looking old geezers and the smoking, it was okay. i don’t think i will be going back any time soon.

I came here last night with a huge group of friends for the grand opening, and I must say we had TONS of fun! The owners are super nice and hospitable(okay, so I know the owners, but I saw them doing this for their other customers as well). Since it was their opening night and they were pretty packed, I’ll admit that the food came out slow, but there was a steady flow of drinks so I don’t think many people cared that much. All the food was super yummy, our favorite was this concoction they call«seafood cocktail,» which was pretty much a crab salad mixture that they put on top of a shrimp chip(well, it was either that or a lobster chip, or something along those lines…) and they top it with fresh tomatoes. Everything else we had was really good too, although I couldn’t tell you exactly what else we had… Their happy hour yesterday was $ 2 beer and free appetizers(I don’t know if that will always be their happy hour special, or if it’s just for the grand opening though). As for the rest of the menu, it’s mainly Vietnamese with a few flares here and there. The menu is also in Vietnamese with English explanation of what the dishes are. Appetizers will run you from $ 8-$ 12, entrees from $ 10-$ 12(they have porridge!), and they also have Hot Pot for about $ 25. As for alcohol, the beers are all $ 3, and they also have a decent selection of sake and soju. We had the lychee soju(my favorite!), strawberry soju, green apple soju, and I want to say another type of soju but by the time we got to that I was so gone I don’t even remember what it was… They also have karaōke, however they mostly know Vietnamese songs(which is totally fine if you know Vietnamese though). All in all, this place is going to do extremely well for itself once they get all the bugs and kinks worked out, I believe. It will definitely become one of my newest hang outs for after I get off of work, that’s for sure!
