The only good part of my experience here was the garlic-parm French fries. I met two of my friends here for dinner after work. They had already put orders for food in but the waitress didn’t even come over to the table after I sat down, I had to ask someone for a menu and water. I ordered the cancun chicken wrap with no tomatoes and it came with no sauce. I asked the waitress for sauce on the side and she never brought it over, 10 minutes later I had to flag her down and ask. Overall my experience here was sub-par, food was nothing special and service was even worse

I dine at the Hurricane grill on stewart ave quite frequently and have no complaints about the food. But…the service is HORRIBLE. We walked in last night at 1025pm and were seated immediately. The dining area was empty… only a few tables occupied. Not one waiter or waitress came over to our table to take our order until we left at 1046pm. This restaurant has lots of competition with Buffalo wild wings, chilis, fridays and many many other restaurants around the area. Out of all those establishments we WERE loyal to hurricane grill. Now you will have an additional empty table because you just lost another customer. Employees of hurricane wings on stuart ave, get it together quick!!! Empty tables means empty pockets for you and the owner. Its a shame that the demise of a restaurant is because of their employees.

Went there with the wife and a few friends. Was rainy out so place was pretty empty when we got there at 5:30. Had never been before so I didn’t know what to expect. Ordered the 15 wings bone in with honey bbq sauce. Liked that they fried the wings without breading and then put the sauce on so skin was nice and crispy. Fries were very good too. Service was fine and definitely got my money’s worth. Wife ordered the ribs, they were great and others must think so too as they only had a half rack left though we wanted a full rack. She enjoyed it very much and I can agree as I had one. A plus is that they have coupons in the local ads that come out so you save. Definitely will go back.

The sliders were literally burned, the fish tacos were basically salt and breading and the top shelf vodka I paid for was most definitely bottom shelf. The service is the only good thing this place has going for them.

I had the Thai ginger salmon. It was good but not anything too crazy. My friends had the wings and enjoyed them. I loved the raspberry iced tea.

5 dollar margaritas are probably my favorite thing. It use to be the wings but they haven’t been the greatest lately. .but it’s a great low key spot for drinks without the crowds

Not. A. Fan. My mom and brother are American restaurant diners so I chose to have dinner at Hurricane because none of us have been there before. Our server was very sweet. That along with the beach vibe and the wings were the only things that were decent. To start off, the sangria was horrible. The description said it had OJ in it but it was wine on ice. Bad wine on ice. No flavor at all. I squeezed the fruit in it and tried to make it into something, but I wasn’t pleased. I ordered some BBQ wings for an appetizer and the Beachside Chicken for my meal. The wings were good… a little more sauce on them wouldn’t hurt but I did not enjoy the Beachside Chicken. It was Grilled chicken breast topped with sauteed onions, peppers, bacon, melted cheeses, drizzled with Honey Lime sauce with a side of rice and beans and broccoli. Sounded good but there was barely any bacon and I wasn’t feeling it. No thanks Hurricane.

Let me start by saying the service was good. The waitress was sweet, a little spacey, but very polite. Music was great, booth was clean. However, can’t say I will be returning to this restaurant. Now on to the food. The nachos were so so sorry. I do make some good nachos myself, so maybe I was just being hard on them but… there wasn’t even cheese on these!!! They doused chips with some sauce, a handful of beans and called the appetizer nachos. We ordered Thai cilantro wings. Also ginger and garlic wings. They were good, the wings itself weren’t seasoned but the sauce was good enough. The fancy parmesean garlic fries were, in my husband’s opinion, the worse fries ever. They were very over fried and I don’t even know what the sauce was that they supposedly put on the«natural cut» fries. It wasn’t the worst meal I’ve ever eaten but I must admit, I do feel gross after eating it and I’m sitting here wishing that I just went to Buffalo Wild Wings.

Chain restaurant popping up all over Long Island lately. This is a great location conveniently located on Stewart Ave near the mall and a short drive away from Garden City. A very good selection of rotating craft beer taps and enormously friendly bar staff. The wings are done well here with a huge selection of dry rubs and sauces to choose from. They will pipe in the audio for major sporting events into the bar area which makes this a great spot for Monday night football and events of that sort, a strong recommend

I came into this restaurant last night with 8 ladies not knowing what to expect! This was one of my favorite experiences at a restaurant. Everyone was so nice and helpful and the atmosphere was great. The food and dessert was to die for especially the parmesan garlic fries!!! There was so much I was able to take leftovers home and can’t wait to chow down! I def will make this a new hangout spot for me and my friends!!! Thanks hurricane for being amazing!!!

Take out order, doomed from the start. The Service: Tried to make a delivery order using Grubhub. However, they stopped delivery at 9pm, just as I was processing the order. Called instead and placed pickup order. Ordering on the phone was difficult. The woman on the phone was uncomfortable taking a phone order. Arrived to pick up order. Woman at the counter(who I think took the order) heard it was a pickup and bolted. Guy rung up order and retreived. He was polite and attentive. Order was incomplete. Wings were missing. We decided against waiting and took home what we had. Guy apologized.(wasn’t his fault). Food: Food was hit and miss. The mahi sandwich and mahi entrée seemed good. The fried shrimp app and calamari app were old, cold, and soggy. The people who ate the mahi, sandwich and entrée, said the fish was average, and probably not something they’d get again. The people who didn’t get their wings picked at the other food. At the end of the night, the people who ordered the mahi(and ate the most of the sandwich and entrée) were in the bathroom, hugging the toilet. Both blamed the mahi separately, as it was the only thing they ate. Neither of them, nor would I, go back to Hurricanes or pick up from them.

Met up with friends here after an event and boy did we have a good time. We watched the Mets game of course. It was pretty low key being that there were only a few more tables occupied near the bar. We had already eaten prior but some wanted to order wings and nachos. I for one ordered the fried green beans and yes they were delicious. Pippin’ hot and crispy and the horseradish sauce was awesome. The drinks were alright. You can either get a glass or the bucket. A bucket is 2.5 glasses. So yes you guessed it. .. I ordered the bucket. For $ 15 it is not a bad deal. I ordered the Voodoo juice cocktail. Not bad but then a lil sweet for my liking. Just wish it was a lil stronger. We all had a great time watching the Mets game. They won and we were ecstatic. The ambiance could have been more lively, but then again its Long Island. I’ll check this place out again when I’m in the area.

I can only speak about the bar area since I came here after a nearby event to watch The Mets game. When I first arrive the waitress was a bit rude but then she was really nice so go figured. Since I came from an event I wasn’t hungry but did order the nachos which were tasty and a good portion for $ 9. The people I came with got some wings and they said they were good especially the cyclones(half ranch half buffalo sauce) I didn’t get to try them but they seem to really enjoy them. The drinks were good and I thought the prices were more than fair.

This place is a great place to relax, have a beer with friends, watching sports on big screen TVs. The food here were good but not great. We got the chicken wings. Flavors that we tried were the boss, honey garlic, rosemary garlic, & Thai cilantro. The flavors were all good but the chicken were to dry, like it’s overcooked. The meat inside were a bit bland. The wings came with celery sticks & a choice of blue cheese or ranch dipping sauce. The service were good. The staff here were polite & attentive. The food came out about 10 – 15 minutes. We ordered nothing but 30 wings & all total, the bill came out to about $ 30.

Out of all the Bar-Wing chain places in the area, this is probably my favorite. Just a few items that make Hurricane Grill & Wings enjoyable: When its nice outside, eat outside! The interior bar area looks like a beach house, its a fun and inviting spot TVs are playing sports Wings! They have a good selection of sauces, 35+ to be exact Beers! They have over 20 beers on tap to choose The wings for lunch are kinda expensive, its almost a $ 1 a wing. I like this spot for lunch and happy hour beers. I’m a fan!

I LOVE a theme restaurant! This place is like being at the beach. Nautical theme through out. My fave, the corona bottle salt and pepper shakers! Large bar area, outdoor seating and flatscreens everywhere! They have an extensive menu, wings, burgers, tacos, nachos, salad, salmon, mahi-mahi, sirloin, sandwich, wraps, sliders, and they even have churrasco(marinated skirt steak). I had chicken bacon ranch quesadillas, they were pretty good. Dessert menu includes key lime pie, chocolate chocolate cheesecake and my choice, chocolate lava cake with raspberry sauce… DELISH! Sides are really good, must try the Garlic ‘n Parm french fires, if your going for something healthier the Garlic n Parm Broccoli is also really good! Drink menu is great, lots of fun mixed drinks to choose from! Our waiter was pretty good. Could of done with out the«up selling» but you cant blame them for that! They have a kids club, kids eat free on a certain night.(not sure exactly what day). They also have a rewards card, just incase your like me and need to have 500 rewards cards… LOL CHECKOUTMYPICS!
