Nice atmosphere, the food is ok jus expensive I got a salmon Caesar salad & lemonade which came to $ 19.00. I recommend the wraps if coming here.

DONOT order delivery from this place. It took OVER2 hours, no exaggeration, for 2 wraps and a panini to be delivered. I called 3 times over the course of waiting and they told me it was on the way… yet another 45 minutes passed and we had to call again. I was just at the point of demanding my money back when the guy finally arrived 2 and a half hours later. Honestly, the food seems fresh and my wrap wasn’t bad, but I’ll never order from this place ever again for pure carelessness of the customer. Not even an apology or discount was offered.

I’ve been going to Bistro twice a week for the past year; I work nearby. The line can sometimes be out the door, and can even take upwards of 25+ minutes to get through, but it’s worth it. The food is fresh, tastes great, and the people behind the counter are very good about handling complex orders. Being able to watch as they prepare your food gives me satisfaction that they won’t cut corners or make mistakes. From a hygiene perspective, I appreciate that they change their gloves after every order. It shows they respect their customers and aim for exceptional service.

Recommended Awesome, casual lunch spot. Wraps, paninis, and salads. I got a BLT panini with grilled chicken. Amazing, fresh ingredients, and best of all it didn’t fall apart(my biggest pet peeve since I am somewhat of a messy eater) I finished the entire sandwich even though I said I’d only eat half, which then led to a massive food coma. My friend had the grilled portobello wrap which she thoroughly enjoyed as well. It doesn’t seem like you’ll go wrong with any of their menu items. Food was too good that we forgot about taking photos. Ultimately, this is a deli that’s trying to be more than a deli. The food is certainly above standard deli food. Also, they make your order in front of you similar to Chipotle/Chopt but only one person handles your food –it is not an assembly line which is obviously better. The set up was kind of confusing though and seating inside is limited although they do have tables outside on Franklin Ave. Parking is similar to RVC in that there’s a bunch of lots scattered throughout so you’ll probably find yourself walking a few blocks which I also liked. There’s no reason to go to a chain when places like this exist. Will return in the near future.

Love this place! We order lunch from here whenever lunch is brought into our office. The balsamic dressing is out of this world! I wish I knew what was in it! It’s unlike any dressing I’ve ever had.

This place is delicious, fresh and filling. Today was my second visit at Garden City Bistro. I had the potato leek soup and the portobello with grilled chicken wrap. Both were so tasty! The soup was this awesome purée with great flavor. The wrap was perfectly filled with a mixture of seasoned chicken, grilled portobello, tomato and crispy romaine, with some sort of dressing. It was so good, and did I mention filing?! I paid a total of 13.28 for both and it was worth it. Normally $ 13 is too high for lunch in my opinion but because everything was delicious and fresh, the quality made it worth it. The other options on the menu sound great and I want to try more. I will be back.

The food is amazing here but they make you wait 3hrs for delivery and don’t even apologize when you are at your job and only have a certain amount of time to eat. I ordered my food at 10:45am & the food didn’t arrive until 1:45 with no apology and the food came out terrible

The chicken lala salad is my favorite! The chicken breast is always cooked perfectly and all the ingredients are noticeably fresh. The paninis are also excellent. Definitely important to not they they are jammed during lunch hour; line usually goes out the door. Moves at a reasonable pace though, and definitely worth it in the end.

Came here during a busy weekday lunch hour(around 12:45PM) — Was definitely worth the wait. The bacon made the whole place smell great! I had the California Ranch Wrap and my boyfriend got the Chicken BLT Wrap. They were both delicious. It’s also kind of nice that you stand in front of the station where they make your wrap while you wait. I was drooling while the guy was making our food! So good!

I ordered a vegetable salad with extra eggplant. …the entire salad was leaves. I think for every 4 bites I took there was 1 that actually had a vegetable involved. .75 cents for extra eggplant, I got like maybe half a palms worth of eggplant. So lame.

Garden City Bistro has yet to blow me away, despite the fact that I desperately want to fall in love with this place. The narrow layout doesn’t facilitate a good flow of traffic and the tables are few and far between. I was not particularly fond of the panini bread, which I found dry and underwhelming. I’m sorry, Bistro, but Adelphi Deli has captured my heart.

Great lunch food. We order out from here all the time for work — it’s a HUGE crowd pleaser! Tons of options for sandwiches, wraps, salads, panini, etc etc etc. Not to mention the extensive list of vegetarian options! Always gets brownie points in my book. Unfortunately, everyone in the area has found this gem as the lunch line is out the door and around the block… always. Today we came in around 12:30 and waited in line for at least a half hour before it was our turn. With so many people working behind the counter, I cannot figure out why it takes so long, but I suppose I cannot complain too much. Food was great as always and affordable to boot. If you are looking to dine in, come early. There is limited seating that you will be fighting for!

I have faith that I can love this place, but so far after 2 visits I’ve just had a meh feeling. my fiancé and his coworkers love this place though. I’m thinking maybe I haven’t hit jackpot on what I’ve ordered — I’ve gotten the shrimp mango wrap(which was too mango-y for me) and the prosciutto panini which was good but nothing special /I’ve had better prosciutto. They don’t have much seating(about 4 tables?) so I’m sure during lunch time it’s near impossible to get a seat — luckily during the summer they have outdoor seating which helps. Probably a good spot for just a grab-and-go lunch. I can vouch that they give you a lot of meat /don’t skimp on the toppings in the sandwiches. Another plus is their menu is extensive so anyone can easily find something they’d order here. I’ll definitely give this place at least one more shot!

The food is great here. The menu is extensive with creative options ranging from soups to sandwiches to salads. I have tried many of the items and have always been pleased. The cobb salad is a winner, with a ton of stuff mixed in. The genoa and provolone sandwich is great as well, with a homemade red pepper pesto which gives the sandwich a nice sweet note. The grilled cheese panini with waffle fries is a good deal also, with good bread and cheese, it makes for great lunch. My favorite thing there by far is the spinach and cheese quiche. It is definitely not low fat, but as a person who never ever orders quiche(you know, real men don’t eat quiche… lol), theirs is insanely good. The only reason I took off one star is because you can end up waiting a long time to order during lunch time.

Great lunch/breakfast spot! We were impressed by the extensive menu, but narrowed it down to a grilled chicken Cesar wrap, and a chicken vegetable wrap. Excellent! The wraps are huge, soda can diameter, but about an inch longer than a typical soda can. Very filling. I saw a few salads prepared as well while waiting, and they looked delicious.

The chicken blt is to die for. Sure, sure, it’s something you can get lots of places, but I promise you, you get it here and you won’t want it anywhere else. Everything is fresh and it comes out nice and warm. You can see them heating up ingredients on their grill. I’ve never had anything bad here. They make salads to order and have so many goodies you can put it. A dozen or so dresses for you to choose from. Delicious! I love their chipotle dressing and put it on everything. Seriously you’ll come here and you’ll see how crowded it is every time. I don’t think I’ve ever been here where there hasn’t been a line and that just proves how good this place really is. The wait it totally worth it and trust me you never really wait long. They make sure to give you good but speedy service.

Nice selection of sandwiches at reasonable prices. This place was packed on a Saturday afternoon, and seemed like a local favorite for lunch. My sliced steak panini with avocado was tasty and well cooked.

The Quick: Larger than life delicious wraps at a reasonable price. The Details: I don’t know how they do it but bistro always has the most amazing wraps. It doesn’t matter what you have: the Greek salad wrap, the bacon egg and cheese wrap, the buffalo chicken wrap… It doesn’t matter everything is incredible. The ingredients are fresh the toppings are plentiful and the portions are gigantic. The staff is also extremely friendly and polite. It’s not a very quick spot so it will take time to get your gigantic delicious wrap. But definitely worth trying, I love it there! The Damage: Considering the size of these wraps it’s a very reasonable price. Plus there was a guy who used to work there that would give me «the pretty girl discount” — 10% off. Oh the good old days.

Job well done GC Bistro. I think I’m totally in love with you now. Today I strayed from my usual order of the Bistro Salad and got a Crab Cake Po’ Boy on a wrap without tomatoes but my chipotle aioli on the side. Helloooo foodgasm! I will dream tonight about that aioli and will yell in my slumber«Oh my God!!! Give me more GCB! Give me MORE!» Yeah so what can I say?! I love the GCB. Yeah it’s a little pricey… but what do you expect? You’re in Garden City near the courts. don’t ya wanna eat good?! I say«hell to the yes!» Enjoy!
