Assuming this is the unlisted Dolci Café/changed names, I’ll review it accordingly. Good initial sign: Labels on their sweets; bad sign: really unadventurous flavors and a rude lady behind the counter. I know gelato runs on the pricey side, but my $ 3 scoop of dulce de leche didn’t justify the tag. The dulce de leche gelato, while fairly sized and nicely sweet, was pretty much a wash as it tasted like rotten gingerbread icing after a while — sadly not a terrible thing. The canola(cannoli) I sampled was unacceptable, and the«tiramisu» was tasty for a minuscule scoop but not tiramisu at all and not something worth the full scoop, or the full $ 3. I’m happy I chose the best of the 3 to eat the most of, and pay for, but still not all that satisfied. I tacked on a cookie, the pignoli labeled as «spumenti»(apparently these signs aren’t as virtuous as I’d given them credit for), and that brought me to a whopping $ 4.18(you can’t be serious). The pignoli, which I knew I shouldn’t get, 1 because Italy was as far away from the feel of this place(both in personnel and ambiance) as I was from California, and 2 because of said sign, was terribly hard, overpacked with(untoasted) pine nuts(didn’t think this was possible), and tasted of fish(yes, fo’ realz).
