This place gets a gambier 3 star meaning in any other larger city it’d be a 2 at best but considering there are like 4 places to eat in gambier, a 3 it merits. Standard old style bar food. Everything on the appetizer menu is surprise fried! Pizzas are decent but I’ve had better. For as cheap quality of the food the prices are a tad high. Ended up here by default after sitting forever at the VI with no one coming out to clear the table from the previous patrons or acknowledge that someone would be with us(although VI has better food). Came with a group of about 15 on a Saturday night and they didn’t mess up anyone’s order which they deserve props for that. They definitely weren’t prepared for that many people but they managed pretty well but food did take a whole and come out one by one every few minutes.

I was roaming through OH on my travels and did a Unilocal search for dinner. This place had a great review on a sandwhich so I decided to give it a visit. Being the only person in the whole place I was doubting my choice. The owner/cook/waitress was really nice and struck up conversation with me. The BBQ chicken pizza was decent as well and fed my belly for the night! If you need a nice lady to talk too go ahead and stop!

I have to give the grill 5 stars simply because due to its location, it cannot be beat. The drinks are cheap the food is decent bar food. I miss the fried mushrooms. It’s nice that it’s open late but they always seemed to mess up delivery orders. Haven’t been in a couple years but they used to have a really cute baretender who would give me free drinks. If you’re ever in Gambier, then you go to Kenyon and have already been…

An average place to grab something to eat or have a few drinks. The Grill replaced what used to be the Pirates Cove Restaurant(apparently due to reopen in Mount Vernon). It has an odd location and is a bit dingy, but the place gets the job done for the most part. I have only been to the Grill a few times, and although it appears that they use frozen dough for their pizzas, they are surprisingly good. As far as other items on their menu, I cannot speak. Prices are good(cheaper than Middle Ground, of course), and every time I have done carry-out, the orders have been completed promptly. Also, I like that the place is open later than anything else around.
