We love this place cause the pizza is so great but our biggest issue is that they say they open at a certain time and they are not. We waited for ten minutes for them to unlock there doors. I believe if they actually should unlock there doors when they say there open. This is are biggest complaint.

I was in town for business and looking for a good pizza place. I tried Pirates Cove and was not disappointed. Great pizza and fast, friendly service. I will definitely be back!

As far as pizza places go in the Mount Vernon area, this one is pretty good. I went to the original when I was a kid, and have a lot of fond memories of playing TMNT, and operation wolf in the arcade, getting candy from that half door in the entry, and looking at all the cool pirate décor. I guess the 4th star has more to do with my fond memories than anything, but I can’t eat here without comparing it to their parents restaurant. The food is still very good, but the design is more like a diner. I will surely be back some time.
