Stuffed avocado was great. Quessidilla for kids was great. Service was good! They had a lot of menu options. The waitress was very good in suggesting options based on what type of Mexican food you like. They also have their own parking lot, which is huge on Seawall Blvd!

Waiter was very attentive. Mgr came by to make sure everything was great. Wife, daughter, 4 granddaughters and myself. No one had any complaints. All food was good. I had the Mexican burger. When we came in, I was ready to chew the legs off the table. I left lots of food on the plate. «Oh man I’m full» says my daughter. Price was OK too.

Still good service. The hamburger was a great combo of flavors, the meat was cooked just right. The steak fries were perfectly fried. The bean soup had good flavor and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Giant pile of picketed jalapeños. The #2 lunch special was okay, nothing special.

Every time I go to Galveston I have to stop at this place, their food is great, they always had giving me a great service and margaritas are delicious. This time I tried the«Spinach stuffed chicken breast» and it was very good.

We’ve been to Galveston a few times. We wanted Mexican food and decided to stop here. Service was great. We sat outside where we wanted. Good was great, I got the the Juan burrito it covered the entire plate. My wife got the enchiladas and we were both stuffed. The drinks were on point as well. Very good we will be coming back!

This place was not good, the food was just blah. We wanted to try it cause it looked good and the reviews but it was not! The rice was hard and gross, The chicken was funny. No no no, Don’t waste your time Galveston Visitors!

This was my favorite place we ate at during the whole vacation. The whole«island time» concept wasn’t as bad at this place as most, but it was still much more of a wait than Im used to. The atmosphere is fun and friendly. The food was DEEEELISH! I wanted to eat here again but was outvoted by the rest of my travel mates because there were so many other restaurants to try. But hindsight tells me I should have been more persuasive because this was by far the best food we had all week.

Food pretty good. Tropical shrimp tacos were flavorful with pineapples and mangos. Flight of margaritas were delish. Nice lunch menu and service was on point.

Everything looks and tastes like a microwave meal, came out of a can, or out of a bag. Very unimpressed, sorry. Do not waste your money. Service was ok. Go to Sonny’s Burgers!

Just terrible food. Worst refried beans and tortillas ever. The trash they produce(other than the food) has to be tons of cans and bags of tortillas because none of this food is authentic or made in their kitchen. My guess is the kitchen is filled with freezers and microwaves. I should have run when I saw«meatless fajitas» on the menu. No self respecting mexican food restaurant would even suggest the idea. The margarita to wash out the terrible taste was good though. Maybe I should have had 5 of those first then maybe I wouldn’t have noticed the food. That has to be how they stay in business.

Good Mexican food & right off the Seawall if you are also spending time on the beach. The food is good and with the most delicious, strong, mixed drinks. I forget the name of it, but I will share the photo. It was so strong I had a limit of 1 lmao. At 1st that made me upset that I was given a limit, but then I found out why lol! I will be back when we go back to Galveston.

This has also become a tradition for lunch when we attend the Joint Services Academy Military Ball and is selected because of it’s proximity to the hotel Beyond that and the fact that the service is quite good I think there to be a number of establishments in Galveston which have more unique dishes.

Pretty good. Little over priced for quality except the Tortuga dinner. Great split and a lot of food. Reccomed

We have eaten there many times as it is very close to our place in Galveston. We tried to eat here last night but we’re told there was a 30 minute wait. But in looking through the window I could see tables both inside and outside with at least 20 seats available. I don’t know if it was because of lack of capacity in the kitchen, servers, or whatever but it left me with a bad impression so we decided to eat somewhere else. Next time where in Galveston we may try again, but not worth a 30 minute wait. UPDATE: here on a rainy Tuesday at 5pm. No wait. Solid Tacos al Carbonr and the BEST perfect Patron margarita ever. Will be back if everyone makes them as perfect as Wendy.

Down in Galveston and the family wanted to get Mexican food. Tortuga’s is the place we selected. I must say, that the food was awful. My Jalisco diner was supposed to be a tostada, taco and a chalupa. The taco was tostada was correct, the taco was cold and I don’t know what they think a chalupa is, but it was a tostada she’ll with cold queso sauce on it. The server, informed me that my plate was the only cold dinner dish they had. I’m pretty confident that the taco and the bean on the tostada are supposed to be hot. Server took the food back, and I ended up eating the leftovers from the kids at the table. Quesadilla was good, and the fish taco was okay. Wife said the Coca-cola tasted watered down. This is a terrible representation of Mexican or TexMex food. I would expect this quality if food if I were living in Ohio, not in Texas.

The restaurant was nice and clean. And the service was really good. Unfortunately the food sucked! I had a couple of fajita tacos and they came out cold(room temperature) and fairly flavorless. I’m sure there are other Mexican Food joints around here. I’d try one of them instead.
