F*** this place, the two young ladies running the place were both wearing PETA t-​shirts– what a sick joke. Was this supposed to be funny? An idiotic and sick attempt a irony. We ventured in just to look around and I’ll never go back.

Love the selection. Flavors I had never thought of for jerky in here. I think my favorite was the garlic beef jerky, but the Cajun crawfish seasoning was really good too. Not to mention it’s cheaper per lb. than buying regular jerky in the store. Will definitely be back when we’re in town

Very knowledeable staff, free taste tests… must come here. Jerky is delicious. They have online too.

This place is AWESOME. We have been there twice now and have tried just about everything in the store. The young girl that has waited on us both times we have been there is very nice and helpful. She has probably cut us at least 30 different samples to try which has helped us tremendously in making our selections. She never gets upset and really explains the flavor profile, taste and consistency before sampling. Not only that she also gets excited when a person likes the jerky and seems to really like her job. Would highly recommend this place if coming to Galveston !!!

«I Like This, I like that, I like this, I like that, I like this, this, this and that». Those are the words that kept running through my head as I strolled through The Beef Jerky Outlet.
I am a bit of a jerky aficionado. Ever since I was a wee lad, I’ve sought out new and unique types of jerky. It is quite possibly the perfect snack food especially on a road trip or just sitting at your desk while writing Unilocal reviews. Most gas stations have a very limited selection though and that’s where The Beef Jerky Outlet comes in.
This store was filled with so many different types and flavors of jerky that my head nearly exploded when seeing them all. Most were kept in large barrels around the store and samples were freely given. Each employee carried a pair of scissors and tongs for samples so the whole process is pretty hygienic. After sampling probably six different flavors, I settled on their blazin hot beef jerky and a sweet turkey jerky.
The turkey jerky was very soft and sweet. It was unlike any jerky I had ever had, but not really something I would like to eat regularly. If you don’t like bold, spicy flavors, this could be a good starter jerky for you.
The blazin hot lived up to its name. It was so hot that it made me sweat. I would have preferred more flavor in addition to the heat, but I did enjoy it.
The jerky at the store wasn’t cheap. I think my 1 lb bag was close to $ 30 which was far more than the $ 17 I thought I was going to be paying, but what the hell? I was on vacation and wanted some jerky.
If you are a lover of jerky, this is the store for you.

This place was awesome! When we walked in, we were encouraged to try all the sample jerky we wanted (free jerky is always good!) We liked some so much we actually bought a couple! I love all the fusions they had. I got grabbed some of the wild boar jerky, my boyfriend grabbed some ostrich. We also grabbed a bog of their pepper jerky. It was all so good!

Really unique jerky shop– very knowledgable staff that can help you find what you want. We came in looking for some jerky that could be a good protein snack without a string of unnecessary ingredients. They have everything. The refrigerated section has they healthier line of jerky, a bit more expensive (about $ 10 – 15) a bag depending on the meat– and I’m talking meat from ANYTHING (buffalo, alligator, kangaroo?!?)
They also let you try any jerky which is really nice. I’ve never seen so many different flavors. Something to check out for sure.

This is a really cool shop if you are a beef jerky lover. They have over 200 flavors. You can try any flavor with assistance from staff. They have some really funny shirts, not appropriate for all ages. We ended up buying two different flavors! It was fun! The staff was very friendly.

Awesomely nice people working there. Tried some great jerkys. Bought some that we loved and just wanted to try. A pretty good selection. Can get chocolate covered insects too.

Over 200 varieties of jerky and sausage and all kinds of munchies… I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a southern girls heaven.
