I was very impress with the sitting arrangement with spaxe to walk into the counter to order space.

Usually ok. I get wrong coffee frequently but it’s corrected. Please though, stop making me respond to «how are you today?» At the drive through. We know they don’t care and it’s unnecessary. I’m in a hurry

Review of stand alone Starbucks(not the one across the street in Kroger) All Starbucks are essentially the same so this rating is based on the staff that runs this particular location. All the food and beverages are on par for a normal Starbucks. At this location the staff is particularly unprofessional. From how they greet you over the microphone in the drive thru lane to how they check you out and present your order. It’s really THAT noticeable. At this location, I always am greeted in the drive thru lane with a «hey dude, you know you wanna try…» Then when you get up to the window, you better watch out– I had my head down looking for my credit card in my wallet and I hear: «coming at’ cha!» I look up and there is my order within about an inch of my face basically thrown into my window. Just left me thinking«wow» as I drove away.

It’s Starbucks… It is what it is. You know what your getting, it’s a chain. You won’t read this review because chances are, you’ve been here before.

This Starbucks location is always either a hit or a miss. They are very much on «island time» so preparing orders can seriously take forever when going through the drive-thru…which almost defeats the purpose of picking the drive-thru! On that note, I have found that they seem to prepare drinks way faster in the early morning hours. The pro of being the only drive-thru Starbucks on the island and also being the most convenient of this location is what gives this location 2 stars in my book.

Like the other reviewers on here, I suffered poor service at the hands of this Starbucks. We found out after we reached the drive through window that they were out of one of the items we ordered. The breakfast sandwich we got was cold and just plain gross. But the worst of it was when John(who shows all the signs of having a heroin addiction, somebody seriously needs to look into that) handed back my gift card that should have had a little over $ 26 on it, and said we had 35 cents left from our $ 18 order. Confused about why our gift card balance was so low, we shrugged our shoulders. But ol’ Johnny boy kept asking about the 35 cents and how we wanted it, and was withholding part of our order. Finally my boyfriend told him to put in the tip jar, because we didn’t care about the 35 cents on our gift card. At this point, John snapped that we OWED35 cents. Not like the money was the problem, we would have given it to him if he’d just asked or in someway informed us that he wasn’t trying to give us 35 cents! I guess that’s what happens when the employees can’t even manage to get their eyes to open.

This review is not to say Starbucks was terrible, I mean the Starbucks brand seems to taste the same throughout the stores. This review is based on the inventory and service I received from this particular Starbucks. I went here because this is the only one in Galveston with a drive thru. I pulled up to the intercom and ordered the new caramel ribbon crunch«oh I’m sorry we’re out of dark caramel.» Ok, no worries I’ll just have the limited edition s’mores frapp. «We’re out of the s’mores as well» I was in a bit of a good mood thus far so I politely settled for a plain yet delicious caramel frapp. I get to the window to grab my drink and realize my empty Starbucks cup from the previous day is occupying my cup holder. I grabbed it and asked the guy could he please throw this one away. «No, no I can’t.» I’m like seriously, it’s your brand. It was not like I was trying to give him a McDonald’s cup. Any who I grabbed my drink and received no polite farewells from him and I drove off shaking my head. I don’t know what the problem is here but I won’t be returning to this particular Starbucks again!

Starbucks are generally the same across the country and that is the way it should be. Order the same drink no matter where and it should come out the same no matter where you are unfortunately that isn’t the case for all starbucks. But this location does it all and perfectly. Big selection of merchandise and plenty of seating inside and out. Drive through gets really busy in the morning it is worth parking and meeting some of the friendly staff inside.

If you have at least 30 minutes to get cold coffee or melted frapps then this is the place for you! Third time I’ve gotten consistently awful service here, only reason they’re still in business is because they’re the only Starbucks on the island.

What coffee shop runs out of coffee… this one does. It is understaffed with incompetent employees including the manager who is useless. Avoid this place it is not a Starbucks. .it is a imposter.

There are two freestanding Starbucks on Galveston island. This one is convenient if you are headed to the beach across 61st street. The other is on Harborside with a nice porch overlooking the cruise port. This location has a good staff, a drive-through that works pretty well. The inside is on the smaller side for a Starbucks though. My biggest issue here is the parking situation. There are very few spaces because many of the spaces are reserved for the urgent care clinic that is in the same building. Your best bet is to use the drive-through so you don’t have to find a parking space.

Horrible Starbucks! I’ve never been to one with such horrible customer service and employees with«I don’t give a s***» attitude. We walked in happy, smiling and got a death stare. When we ordered it was like an inconvenience and she walked away while we were ordering. She even made a point to move my coffee from the register we were in front of to the other side. There were gnats flying around the pastries to top it off. Would never return here.

It’s starbucks, every starbucks is like every other starbucks. All I get get is a cappuccino. It was good, it was in a drive through. God! What a country. Starbucks being the walmart of coffee doesn’t stop me from grabbing their brew when I’m on the road and don’t have time to sit at a local place. Otherwise I rarely ever go to one unless there’s a business meeting. Again why? Because the location is usually known by any associate I care to meet with. Does the cappuccino rock? Was it amazing? No. it was starbucks in all its American glory, which is to say it was a middle of the road coffee beverage that delivers caffeine. I think I’ll start using meth.

Surprised to see the dirty hands and fingernails of the male cashier at window — then he hands the drinks to me by their rims, yuk! One of the 2 coffees I ordered, a Mocha is made with NO Mocha — come on people, $ 9 for 2 coffees and you can’t get it right.(Or hire people with decent personal hygiene to handle the food and drinks!) McDonalds nearby is probably safer — even for a diehard Starbucks patron like me.

A little slow but we still got a quality product. The team looked overwhelmed and as though they might have missed some orders but they were very friendly despite the busy and demanding crowd.

Only two stars on average? Y’all are crazy! This here is a DRIVE-THRU Starbucks very near to the«highway» and Seawall of Galveston. It’s excellent! The staff are very nice if you’re nice first, and they make good drinks. On a business trip to Galveston? I’ll gleefully take a Starbucks instead of Landry’s Something Something.
