I had the need to visit the shelter two weeks ago – Mama cat got into my house (big old place under renovation) somehow & had 3 kittens. Finally located the little family & my son figured out how to set-​up our dog cage to trap the feral mother since Galveston Animal Control has few traps & many requests (So many that there is a waiting list & a time limit on use of cages. OK, G-​town pet-​lovers, let’s donate Funds-​For-​Ferals so more unwanted cats can be caught-​spayed/​neutered-​released). This place is amazing. I haven’t been in a more attractive, well-​run animal shelter in mylife. The staff was so nice and answered all questions patiently & thoroughly. They were a bit astonished that we had the kittens AND the mama. The extremely feral mama…
