This comment has nothing to do with the food! We didn’t get that far thanks to the rude discrimination of the bartender last night. My husband asked what was on draft. Bartender pointed to electronic board. My husband stated he couldn’t read it. The bartender threw up oh is hands and walked away. When he returned my husband asked what the heck man? Bartender responded dude you have glasses on.
Discriminating. You don’t know if my husbands partially blind. You don’t know customer service. Just so you know I feel it’s my duty to file a formal ADA complaint. I don’t want this bartender fired. Reeducate yes. Bar back for a few weeks yes. Hope I get to try the food heard it’s amazing. Hope management reads this and explains to staff how to interact respectfully with people who have disabilities.
Please let me know when you’ve taught your staff. Because I really really want to try your food!

great beer tap selection, than is always changing. one of the 3 best restaurants on the island for a burger, and I’ve tried all of the them. bartenders and knowledgeable and helpful and I dont know what else to say. try either a burger, or the wings, or both. they are soooo good.

By far the best burger on the island, any one of them as a matter of fact. The cool thing is that you can have any burger created into a taco as well. All food is fresh not processed and the chef is one of the best on the island.
The beer selection here is constantly rotating so you will never have the same thing too often.

Beer selection is outstanding. It’s a place for craft beer drinkers but has something to offer everyone. The bartender on duty this night really knew his beer and helped pair undecided patrons with the perfect brew. We had the avocado fries for an appetizer and they were outstanding! Fried light and crisp, they actually did whet my appetite instead of ruin it, which often happens with huge, filling appetizers. I had the pork belly tacos served with homemade chips and a delicious salsa. I would absolutely order that again. The hubs are the Crabby Goat. I could have easily taken several more bites of his delicious plate. We will definitely be back!

Yay! Thanks Unilocal!We stopped here twice during our day on the strand. Both times had a great time. Friendly staff, good food, tried some new brews and interesting interior. We learned about the building on our ghost tour but that’s another story. Check this place out!

Not much into beer. Came for the trivia. Pinot grigio was excellent. Avocado fries were different and worth the try. Burgers OMG. Had The Heat Seeker both with bun and as a salad. Only I make a better burger. BEST restaurant burger on earth. In-​N-​Out is great. 5 guys is good. These are freaking awesome.

I’m always on the lookout for a great burger. Gourmet or not. At the minimum it needs a good char on the meat. Fresh ingredients and a bun that compliments the what lies between. Galveston is blessed with its share of good and great burgers. This is a great one. Having a beer selection without the word lite helps too… as do the friendly staff. Its warm on a Galveston evening. Throw in a few more tables and I would think I’m in a bar on New York’s upper west side. But if your taste goes to something other than burgers, you have to try the pork belly tacos. Or being a friend and share. Or make one there.

Awesome selection of beer (bottle and tap). Just finished off a plate IPA Buffalo wings and they were not only massive wings, but so frikin’ good! If you find yourself on the island, COME HERE!

Basic in many ways, but certainly not base — excellent selection of beers both on tap & bottles. Burger could have been significantly improved if slightly seasoned and if it were served on a better bun… still it was a 6.7 out of 10. The homemade chips were better than that. Ploughman’s platter was generous, nice variety of cheese, I’d recommend it. The place is welcoming, dimly lit & spacious, with a slight side of seedy.

I’ve now come here twice for their Wednesday Trivia nights. It starts at 8 PM and usually lasts until about 10 PM. The questions are tough, but we always end up learning some random facts and have a good time. I don’t personally like beer, but the others on my trivia team love the variety of beers that Brews Brothers offers. I had the peach moscato wine last time and it was perfect. My only complaint is that they have been «out» of sangria both times I was there… why not just take it off the menu? Anyway, I will definitely be back for trivia in the future!

Whenever we’re downtown at dinner time we end up here, no matter how often we consider trying something new. The kitchen crew is absolute magic. Whether we come in a big group (12+) of just the two of us, the food comes out fresh and hot. The soups and daily specials are always amazing. And the draft beer, of course, is second to none. Best selection and quality in town. These guys take a lot pride in what they produce and it shows in the best way possible. Only complaint I ever had has nothing to do with them and everything to do with rowdy groups of loud, business attired tourists. Seriously, guys. I know you’re excited that your convention was booked in a beach town but you don’t have to laugh at all your own jokes quite so loudly.

Stopped in for a beer to get out of the rain. Great beers on tap and great bottle selection. We did not eat but the food looked decent. Decent atmosphere with several TV’s. It was a bit loud but we did have a very loud large group next to us. I will be back for sure for the excellent beer and to try some food. My only complaint is there was only one guy behind the bar on a Saturday around noon.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is friendly but very laid back and chill. I got the avocado fries to share and a burger with bacon, goat cheese and a fried egg. The egg with the goat cheese and bacon and burger was so delicious! So many of the options looked good. I’m a fan for sure!

Love this place! Always our first stop wen we get to Galveston. Taps are constantly rotated and the bartenders are knowledgable and friendly. A great craft beer bar!
House made chips with buffalo sauce and blue cheese dip are phenomenal. Burgers are good, wings are great!

We came here on a Monday night and it was fairly quiet, us and probably 10 other people. We were there during Mardi Gras but the bartender informed us that the craziness occurs on the weekend. Apparently this place brews its own beer but because of Mardi Gras, they had sold out over the weekend. Nevertheless, the place had a great selection of brews at reasonable prices. The bartender was friendly and informative.
I’d definitely return here on future trips to Galveston.
