I really liked my experience from here. I ordered the Lemon Chicken and wow, the portion big!!! I have so much chicken left to pack a lunch with for work tomorrow. The guy who helped us was very friendly too. The lemon chicken was a little more pricy compared to two other restaurants, but I’ll pay that price again. It was possibly the best one I’ve had.

Just don’t do it! Food is gross and small portions for what you’re paying!!! Order orange beef, beef broccoli, beef fried rice. The first order of orange beef taste like baking soda they replaced but second order was oily and no orange flavor

First oder from this place was good we decided to get chicken teriyaki and chicken chow main. It was good both were not what i figure they would be. The teriyaki came on a stick it was alright but not much flavor but not terrible. Came with a large portion of fried rice which tasted very good but was just a tad greasy, but will make left overs better during the reheat. The chicken chow main was alright lots of greens and onions not much sauce or noodles. Flavor was decent nothing out of this world could use more chicken. Again came with a huge serving of rice. The eggrolls were honstly the best part of the meal nice crunch but not over cooked very flavorfull. Delivery was only 2 dollars and got here within decent time. Will probably be odering from here again.

Came in for lunch. Service was fast and friendly. Ordered general tso’s and garlic chicken. The egg roll was delicious and general tso was average nothing to write home about. The garlic chicken was more like a hot and spicy dish instead but didn’t complain. Not a bad place to grab a quick and cheap lunch.

First and foremost, ASKFORSOYORWHATEVERSAUCEYOUNEED!, because they don’t just put it in the bag!!. I live on the Westside, so outside of ding ho, Chinese can be a risky adventure. This place is at the intersection of Galloway and hall road in a little strip mall that had a Mexican restaurant, and a pizza place. that’s about it lol. My usual order is sesame chicken with either white or fried rice. depends on how I feel. It’s not too bad… they actually give you meat instead of a ball of dough covered in SAUCE I’ll give them that! Also ordered a couple egg rolls which were bland and didn’t have much flavor. In spoiled by ding hos egg rolls so I mean everything else is under par lol. Overall it isn’t too bad, and the prices are affordable. Friendly service as well. It didn’t knock me dead, but I’d go back.

This place put a menu in my mailbox so I figured I would try it. This was my first time here and more then likely my last! The only redeeming part of my meal was the hot and sour soup. The egg roll was overly greasy, the fried dumplings were almost burnt and dripping of grease and the szechuan chicken had no taste. I felt like I was eating soggy chicken with plastic vegetables. I would not recommend!

My husband and I have ordered from here twice. Food was hot and fresh both times. I’m from southern Ohio — just recently married and moved up here — so the bar is set pretty low for me as far as this type of food goes(ok, it’s low as far as any type of food goes). Keep that in mind. I got the Chinese mixed vegetables and fried rice the first time. Hubby got Dragon & Phoenix. This last time, I split a Pad Thai with him, and we got fried wontons and spring rolls on the side. My only complaint is that the fried wontons were more like lightly fried potstickers. I think they got the order wrong on that b/c they do sell fried potstickers. Still good, though. We both really enjoyed the Dragon & Phoenix(I snuck bites of his!), and will likely get that again. The prices are dirt cheap, at least compared to Bangkok Palace, Chillicothe’s main Chinese restaurant, and I think Dragon Palace’s food is better. Hubby actually preferred Bangkok’s Pad Thai to Dragon’s — the flavor and Dragon’s uses thin rice noodles instead of the flat thicker ones that are more commonly used(says him) and whole peanuts instead of diced. Galloway is similar to Chillicothe in many ways so it’s about what you’d expect from this type of area. It exceeded my expectations a little bit. Someone mentioned delivery was $ 1.95. We were charged $ 3-something, which still isn’t bad.

Ordered the sesame chicken and moo goo gai pan — both were delicious. The soups were tasty too. All vegetables were fresh and the delivery was timely. This is the fourth place I’ve tried since I moved here and first place I would recommend.

We order from here because they’re the only ones that deliver to our house. The food isn’t bad, but it’s not great either. I usually order from somewhere else when I go pick it up. For some strange reason, the price seems to change every time we order. EVERYTIME!

We order takeout from here nearly every week. We’ve loved everything we’ve gotten from them. The food is good, and great portion size. The dinner for two feeds us for two or three meals each. The delivery time is amazing. They’ll tell you half an hour but they always come sooner. Often within fifteen to twenty minutes. Its always hot, early & at a good price. I’ve been in to pick up orders as well. The space is small, but looks good.

My husband and I ordered from here this evening for dinner. I wasn’t impressed. The egg roll tasted like oil. The fried rice I ordered was just okay. The rice didn’t have much flavor. I ordered fried chicken wings and the portion was bigger than I expected however the wings had no flavor. They tasted as if they weren’t cooked all the way. I also ordered the wonton soup. Now that was great! My husband ordered the bbq spareribs and they were small. He said they tasted okay. I would not recommend this place. This might have been one of the times when this place was just okay.

We had the Cashew Shrimp and the Szechuan Tofu; both were EXCELLENT. My favorite, Crab Rangoons, were good, but nothing special. Both entrees were nice sized and FULL of lots of veggies, good stuff like corn and water cashews. My shrimp dish was loaded with shrimp. After reading some of the other reviews, all I can say is that SOMETIMES this place is TERRIFIC!

Do take out from here. They are ok, if you ask for extra spicy, it still wont be spicy. Typical menu, average prices.

Disappointed to say the least. After reading some race reviews about the Dragon House, my wife and I decided to order for delivery. Got the sweet and sour chicken with fire rice. The chicken was decent, but the fried rice smelled AND tasted like the cattle barn at your local county fair. I’m not saying that to make it sound disgusting, but that’s EXACTLY what it smelled and tasted like. The egg roll… Same thing, smelled like a barn, and tasted kinda like B.O. smells. Not worth the money… Will not be revisiting.

Crunchy pieces of General Tso replaced actual Chicken. The fried rice tasted like someone was smoking while frying the rice. Greasy egg rolls, over cooked Egg Foo Young. A weird vibe when I was talking to the owner. My total experience was very disappointing as I wanted to try a new Chinese Restaurant. The other Unilocal reviews were so positive but I left needing to stop at another Chinese place to get my wife lunch after her meal was cooked till it stunk and crunched. I rarely give one star reviews but I am trying to be more balanced this year and if a place is labeled«I will never eat again» then I should give one star. First of all Unilocal’s menu is wrong as is any website I checked on after I googled the place. I ordered on the phone for take-out and as I mentioned the price on them menu, the lady scoffed at me. I took my Ipad into the place and showed here, she mentioned that was the first time she has seen this and most of her people must not use the internet. She said no place would be so cheap and I mentioned New Fortune being close to those prices and she gave me a dismissive look like that place was below them. I have never had my food burnt as bad there and I have always had pleasant interactions with the owners. The crab Rangoon was so-so as I thought it had a strange aftertaste. This strangeness carried on the fried rice. Their Egg Foo Young was decent enough to make think a little more positive. But their General Tsos was awful, not the flavor but the fact that the chicken was so overcooked and tasted like burnt chips of chicken instead of meat. A big chunk of chicken was just tough, but the small pieces were all crunchy. The egg roll was grease rolling down the chin greasy. I spent close to $ 16 here and drove a few minutes farther to my regret. I had to go back out and get my wife lunch after her debacle. I am lucky that other Chinese places are closer and better tasting.

I ordered takeout from my new apartment in town, and although I’m outside of typical landmarks(N of the RR crossing/different zip code), they still delivered – for only $ 1.95! The food was hot, and delicious. We had the General Tso’s and Combination Pad Thai – perfectly prepared and the good kind of spicy! Also ordered some crab rangoon, which was alright, but not the best I’ve had. Order came with an egg roll as well, which was a bit better than usual. My new favorite spot in town!!!

I’ve lived around is location a long time. We have tried the food, and it was always so-so. Even at one point we has a little girl, a daughter of the owner or an employee, talk to us endlessly. So I was a little hesitant to try Dragon House again. Instead of eating in, we got it to-go. First off there must be new management. They have revamped the layout of the store and everything about the store seemed to change. It could use a little TLC but in general it was not bad. The food was excellent. We had general tso’s and chicken pad Thai. Both were good my wife didn’t care for the pad Thai noodles used, but my tso’s was top notch. Apparently they deliver too. Win.

I’m constantly surprised about this restaurant. They have a wide variety of delicious dishes. They offer dine-in, pick-up and delivery options. Like others I have not been disappointed by anything on the menu. We have ordered delivery several times and have not had any mistakes. They are fast, courteous, and accurate. I would recommend this location to anyone.

This is one of the best Chinese places in Columbus. I have many friends that would agree. Dragon house has a good selection of food and quick delivery to south west Columbus. The pricing is fair for the quality of food that you get. I have never eaten in the dining room but they do have one. If you are in the neighborhood stop in and give it a try. Good Food.

I would have to say that this is the best Chinese takeout in Columbus. Its mostly carryout/delivery but they do have a dining room which i wasn’t impressed with. I really recommend the pad thai, sesame chicken, steamed vegetables, and egg drop soup. So far i’ve yet to have anything that wasn’t great from here. The prices are high, but they do send the food out in very sturdy reusable containers.
