Quite possibly the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had and that includes buffet food. I had the general tso’s and it was nothing like it should be. First off it was not crispy at all. In fact it had very little breading and the breading that it did have was soggy from sitting in the mostly water sause that it came in. Second, it was marked on the menu as «HOT». Now I’m not the type of person who can handle 9⁄10 on the heat scale but I typically can do a 5 or 6 so I asked for extra spicy. What I received was the spice level of a 2. This place has apparently received some pretty generous reviews to be ranked as good as it is. All in all, I will not be reurning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is definitely worth a stop in. I came here because I found a place that actually serves Thai Tea on the west side(yes, I came only for Thai tea). However, I ended up also picking up some pad see lew(Thai dish) to go. Very tasty and authentic! Not to mention how sweet and friendly the owner is. I can’t wait to stop in again!

I’m going down the menu of this place. The Khmer pancake or banh chuw here is good! The sweet fish is a perfect compliment to the savory pancake. Although I wish they would have more veggies to go with it. But for $ 6 it is well worth it. Oh you guys should try the taro bubble tea. Soooooo good!

Really great amount of food for the price! I’ve tried a few dishes and liked all of them. Good menu options. The General Tso chicken and Sesame chicken are dishes that you can never go wrong with. I did try the War Su Gai because of another review, but that dish wasn’t my favorite. I loved the taste of the chicken but I just don’t like fried chicken very much and this one had a lot of hard batter. Not bad overall, just not for me. I LOVE how they have bubble tea here. The green tea is not good because of the fishy flavors. The other flavors(mango being one, I think) are not bad. The staff is very friendly and the lady that mainly runs the register is really nice. Good takeout experience(she knew what dish I was talking about from description over phone) and the dine-in experience is great as well. They aren’t open of Mondays, but great place to stop by on any other day.

Tried this place a few times and still not impressed. I think the food could be better. No major complaints because service is always pleasant and food is always served fresh and hot.

This is officially the first Chinese place I’ve went to I don’t like. The chicken was tough and overcooked, the rice was dry and the general Tsos sauce tasted like beef gravy. I will never be back

Marsha and I decided to meet Mike G. for a casual lunch at Lily Teriyaki; a combination of Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese cuisines at Georgesville Rd. This was our first visit to this west side restaurant although we’d been just next door at the dialysis place to bring Marsha’s brother for treatment many times, we’d never even considered to eat here. Mike G. talked favorably about this place so we were eager to give it a try for the first time. Having sampled many of the dishes available already, Mike wanted to come back for the Shrimp Pad Thai. We all shared tastes from each of the different dishes we ordered, Marsha thought the Pad Thai was spicy, but then she doesn’t like most spicy dishes. That’s why she most often orders her War Su Gai. While Mike G. and I prefer a little heat to our meals. So Mike would like to have had his Pad Thai a little hotter even though he asked for it to be spicy. He ordered a pot of hot tea which he said hit the spot. Marsha’s War Su Guy was good with tender white meat chicken and fried rice, but she’s already set the bar pretty high with this dish from another favorite west side restaurant. Initially, Marsha and I ordered the Bubble Green Iced Tea drinks which we saw pictured on the wall. It looked very refreshing. However, when each took a sip of this concoction we all said there was a definite«fishy» taste to the drink. Although it was silly to think anything would be different, if we took sips from the other glass, we did it anyway and of course we got the same results. ARGH!(Not the taste any of us were expecting!) Our server, Mou was very gracious. She didn’t know why these drinks might have such a taste to them. Although she hadn’t ever had them herself, she said lots of other customers like them. But, rather than switch to another Bubble drink or speciality drink, I decided to be safe and go with a cola so I could get my taste buds restored for the rest of the meal. As my appetizer I ordered Gyoza(Japanese pot stockers) and Beef Phở for the main course. The potstickers were deliciously crunchy, delicately fried to perfection with a tender vegetable filling served with a delightfully light Ponzu sauce. I wanted to order the Beef Phở, but was concerned with the overwhelming Anise taste I’ve had in the past.(I’m not a big fan of Licorice.) But, Mou assured me that she could make my Phở to order and go light on the star anise for me. She brought me a huge, boiling hot bowl filled with bean sprouts, rice noodles, scallions, sliced bell pepper, cilantro and big pieces of beef throughout the bowl. Beside the bowl of Phở was a side plate with additional vegetables that I could add to my big bowl. The aroma of the stock was captivating as I could smell the garlic, a hint of the anise, but not too much to overpower the dish. The beef broth was generously ladled over all the meat and vegetables. I thought the delicious stock tasted a little like beef consummé, but with a nice accompaniment of ginger and garlic. The perfect clarity of the Phở indicated that it must have been skimmed many times. My meal was very filling and after eat a good portion of my Phở, I was phull and took the rest home. Mou was such a great lady. She was very happy to explain any of the dishes we had questions about. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes that we can’t readily find elsewhere.

Lily Teriyaki feels like a fast service style Chinese restaurant with a wide ranging menu. There’s Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes. I suspect from the larger number of Thai dishes that the chef is Thai. I tried the beef phở here. It’s phở-esque, but certainly not what you’d typically see from a Vietnamese restaurant. The broth is a little darker, oilier, light on the anise, and heavy on charred ginger. There were meatballs(bo vien), but the beef was large, chewy, fattier cuts than what would be expected. It was an okay beef soup, but may not satisfy a true phở craving. There are some other interesting things on the menu and the server was pleasant so I’m giving a generous 3 stars.

If been here several times since moving here from downtown. I have to say each time has been very pleasant. The Asian woman working is so delightful. The place is clean and the food is very tasty. One thing to note the portion is smaller than what you would get from most Asian restaurant. Just remember QUALITY over quantity. This is now my go to place to satisfy my cravings.

Maybe I didn’t order the same thing as all the other good reviews but I was not impressed. Ordered sesame chicken and felt the sauce was bland and the breading on chicken was soggy. Eggs rolls weren’t bad, better than most Chinese restaurants. My husband ordered a won ton soup and said there was no taste. He liked his house Fried house and also liked the egg roll. Still looking for a really good Chinese restaurant or take out on west side and this place isn’t it.

I love this place. Good quality asian food, and their Thai tea is amazing. I came in on my birthday once, and the owner gave me a free refill on Thai tea for my birthday. She is so sweet.

Really good food and really good service. The staff is sooo nice and very attentive, and the prices are reasonable. Nice variety of Thai foods and other Asian cuisine. The sign isn’t easy to see, but it’s right off of Georgesville Rd across from Walmart.

Seriously?! How long does it take for a simple take out order. I can’t eat in because lack of tables. I have been here for over 30 minutes and I am still waiting. Get some processes in place and I might return. See below for a few to help: 1. Don’t stack orders. 2. Phone calls should be placed on hold. 3. Communicate with the chef. 4. Place a few chairs by the door for people that are standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting on their order. 5. Communicate to customers on how much longer until their food will be done.

It pains me. I really wanted this place to be exceptional. Some things were great… some were so-so and others were down right disappointing. The dining room is very inviting and the service here was great! We were greeted with a smile and we weren’t rushed while trying to decide what we wanted. The menu board wraps around the room. This might make things awkward if you’re trying to find which chicken dish you want, while looking overtop the heads of sitting people trying to enjoy their food. Your best bet is the grab a menu off the counter and peruse through it. I settled on the house lo mien and spring rolls. The husband settled on General Tso’s. My house lo mien was good! It wasn’t my favorite on the west side though. I felt a little jipped with only two pieces of small shrimp in my dish, but the noodles were cooked pretty good, and their oils gave it a nice flavor. You probably couldn’t go wrong with their noodle dishes. My husband’s food was pretty. meh. He said it lacked any spice/heat to it what-so-ever and the chicken was basically drowning in the heavy syrup sauce that tasted very generic. The part that left me questioning whether or not to come back was the Spring rolls. They were of the frozen variety, and sadly. Mark Pi’s could have made them better. That’s how disgusting they were. The insides were mushy, and of the consistency of a paper spit ball, and it tasted foul. Well…at least the bubble tea was okay. I might come back, but I’m not beating down the doors, or anything.

I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this place! This little hidden gem on the west side of Columbus has some amazing asian food. My wife and I ordered a salad, spring rolls, general Tso’s and steak and shrimp hibachi. Our bill was only $ 25! That is insane! The salad was drinched in delicious dressing. Not sure what dressing, but is was yummy. The spring rolls were average. Nothing special here. The General TSO’s was the best I have ever had. The flavors were fresh and the portion was large. The hibachi was on par with pretty much any Japanese hibachi place in Columbus, the only difference is that you aren’t paying for a show, you’re paying for delicious fresh food. The owner was the server and she was awesome. I still can’t get over the fact that this place has been 5 minutes down the road from me and never knew about it. This is my go to place for Asian food and have already recommended family members to check it out.

Went in for the first time tonight, and was very pleased! It’s a small location, only a handful of tables– so keep that in mind if you want to dine in. The prices are good, and the food was great! I got a panang beef that was so hot I was crying most of the meal, but in a good way. I also enjoyed the tofu tod appetizer. Its several fried tofu triangles served with some kind of dipping sauce. I think it was peanut and vinegar based. I’m not sure, but it gave a nice depth to the tofu. My wife had a tofu version of the pad se ew, which wasn’t a menu option, but they had no problem making it at all. She enjoyed it, and had enough left for another couple of meals. Also had the taro and green tea bubble teas. I loved that they had taro! It’s not easy to find most places, and I missed the flavor. The green tea was very grassy, but in a bright refreshing way. Both could have used a few more bubbles if you ask me, but I’m kinda bubble crazy. They were still very good. The gal working the front seemed a bit forgetful, not bringing napkins and chop sticks with our appetizers, but she was quick to fix the situation, and very very friendly the whole time. Oh, and I don’t know if its a normal offering, or if we were just lucky, but chocolate fortune cookies! Its really the definition of a hidden jewel, tucked away in a small strip mall beside the Walmart. I will be back, probably very often!

Tucked away in a nondescript strip mall is this excellent Asian restaurant. I met Mike G., Unilocaler extraordinaire, here for lunch. The owner is very friendly, and answered my questions happily. Mike got the pad Thai; I had a taste and it was darn good. I started with rumaki. I haven’t had it since I was a kid; my mom used to make it and I wanted to see if it’s what I remember. Yep– water chestnuts, I think, wrapped with bacon. They came with a dipping sauce; unnecessary and not particularly memorable. The rumaki reminds me of something a coworker used to bring to potlucks. He called them hog nuts, and made them in a crockpot with barbecue sauce. We used to eat multiple batches. Sorry, veered off down memory lane. The rumaki were good. For my main course. I had tiger tear, which I had never heard of. Turns out it is a steak salad, similar to things I’ve had before at Thai places. Hot steak over cold lettuce, cukes, and onions, with a thin spicy sauce. Very very good. The steak was tender and likely marinated; the veggies were fresh. The menu is diverse, and I will surely be back to try some other things out. Prices were great, at least at lunch. The location on the Unilocal map is not correct; it is in a small mall beside the Walmart on the east side of 270.

When I saw this place, tucked in a strip mall next to the Walmart, my first thought was sweet, a new restaurant and I’m going to snag a first review! So I come home to write my review. No wait, they’ve been open for years. Where have I been? Goodbye first to review! Anyways, I was pretty darned happy to find a new to me, quality Asian restaurant on the west side of town. It’s not your typical strip mall Asian restaurant by any means. While the dining room is small, it’s very comfortable and pleasant looking. It’s nice but not fancy. They’ve got a very extensive menu with Chinese, Japanese and Thai foods. I didn’t ask about authentic cuisine as my digestive tract was still recovering from my last visit to Red Chili Asian Kitchen. I got fast and efficient service from the owner who like the other reviewers noted, is incredibly friendly. She’s such a sweetheart! I ordered the lunch sized Phad Thai with Shrimp for $ 6.75 and hot tea was only $ 1.25. The prices are more than fair for the quality and quantity you get. The Phad Thai came out steaming hot. It was very flavorful with a little of that wonderful combination of sweetness and heat that great Phad Thai should have. Props to them too for not being chintzy with the shrimp! I’ll be adding this to my rotation of very good West Side — Asian restaurants.
